The contractor showed up promptly to provide me with an estimate to carry out this work. I agreed to the contractors terms and the day and time he was to begin the work. He was doing business as PRO PAINTING, but wanted all payments made out to him personally. The contractor showed up on the agreed day about 90 minutes later than he indicated. After completing the work, I noticed that the sealer appeared cloudy, rather than clear, in a number of areas. I pointed this out to the contractor and he reworked these areas. After the rework, I was left with the impression that the cloudy areas would clear up after the sealer had more time to cure. I then paid the contractor his final payment. The areas where the sealer appeared cloudy never cleared up. A few days later I contracted the contract and was told that he would take care of it in a few days. He never followed up. After repeated efforts, I contacted the contractor on the phone a second time. He apologized for not having gotten back with me and promised again to take care of the problem, even telling me what he had to do to fix the problem. I never heard from the contractor again. Clearly this contractor does not stand behind his work. Accordingly, I cannot recommend him.
