Peterka Tile

After discussing the difference in quality of the floor tiles available, we decided to stay with Italian made tile and stay away from the tile made in China that is sold at the large box stores (Home Depot and Lowe's).
George directed us to a large imported tile wholesaler in our area and contacted them to give us his contractors discount.
We went to the tile store, made our selection and paid them directly for the materials.
George gave us a detailed schedule of the steps the installation would take, such as:
-Removal and disposal of existing tile
-Leveling of a recessed area in the floor
-Timing for the application of undercoating and installation of the tiles
-drying times for tile and grout
George coordinated his schedule and activities with 2 other general contractors that were doing construction of walls,
plumbing and electrical work at the same time. Everything went according to plan smoothly.
We completely remodeled our home and when we have company, the first thing they comment on is how beautiful the
flooring looks.
We were fortunate to find and deal with Peterka Tile and would recommend them to the most discriminating buyers.

I called George to determine if he was available to install tile in the next few days.  He came by the next day to look at the job and provided a quote later that day for $675.  We already had purchased the tile so he did the work on Saturday and Sunday because he was busy during the week with other jobs.  He completed the job early Monday with grouting and came back to seal it.  He was always very professional, well prepared, and neat.  He was punctual, and called to let us know if he was going to be a little late and to keep us updated on his progress.  He also did some minor fixes on the grouting in a bathroom and didn't charge for it.  We were extremely happy with the project and highly recommend George.  We plan to have him do our kitchen backsplash and possibly a backyard "stacked stone" project.
