he arrived on time and was able to trouble shoot and fix problem quickly. he even reminded us of the angies list discount and gave us the lower price. will be our "go to" for electrical service from now on.

He found the outlet problem within a little over an hour and charged me correctly for the time. However, he refused to come out when it was raining (even though I had waited a week for him to come and the rain was expected) and called me to tell me an hour AFTER he was supposed to be there. I would have preferred he canceled the night before or at least before the appointment. To his credit, he did come out on Saturday which was outside his normal work week to perform the work which was satisfactory.

They could have communicated better. They still haven't come back to finish.

Dave was here when he stated he would be.  He explained what was wrong and what he needed to do to get us back up and running.  He was professional and personable.  We will use D & L Electrical for all our future electrical needs. Our overall experience was excellent.  If there were pluses after the A we would give them A+++++

On Wednesday the 2nd, I heard a buzzing noise, but could not determine the cause.  I went to use my coffee maker, and discovered the power was out in all the outlets on one wall in my kitchen.  I tried the breakers, but nothing worked, so in desperation, I called D&L at about 5pm in the evening to see if someone could come out the next day (the day before a 3 day weekend mind you!)...Dave answered the phone, and said he could come by first thing the following morning so I would not have to go 4 days without power.  He arrived, and determined within about 10 minutes that the issue was a burned out CFI outlet, which the other outlets on the wall were tied to.  He pulled out the old box, cleaned up the wiring, and installed the new outlet box, all in less than an hour after arrival!  I was thrilled with their response, and was especially happy as they are a local business, only a few blocks away, and I always try to use local businesses.  The cost was great, and I will definitely be calling on D&L again in the near future to install ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

He came out right away for an estimate. Two men came back a few weeks later to do the work over two days. I thought they did good a job. It ended up being more work than he anticipated because he originally said the work would be completed one day. The track lighting seemed to be frustrating for him because the ceilings are 20 feet high. He was slightly rude but tried hard to turn things around by the end of the service.

Excellent service, professionalism and price.

It was great.  Fixed the short in like 5 mins.  Came back and installed an outlet for my dryer.  Showed up on-time and did great work.

I think it is a small company. I first used them because I had a problem with my hard wired smoke alarm. And when I called, he suggested that I go up and check the battery rather than coming out. There wasn't any battery. So then he said, OK I'll come out and put a new one in, so I was really happy with that. And then we used him when we bought a combo and we used him to work on that. And then we used him about three months ago to re-wire a plug in our garage. He did a lot of work the second time. He checked all the plugs and replaced three of four plugs. I was happy with the price we payed.

They do good work and they are clean. I thought their price was a little high, but I didn't do any comparison.  They did good quality work.

Communcation & explanation was excellent.

Lost power in the evening. Called in. Dave gave a detailed explanation of the potential cost. Then he promptly went out it and restored the power. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Dave, one of the two owners/electricians, came over to give me an estimate.  He originally said $200 for one circuit or $400 for two, but I pointed out that the incremental effort for the 2nd circuit was less than the first (like only having to crawl under the house once), so he gave me a better quote of $300, which I accepted.  So by haggling a little, I saved a significant amount.

When it came time to do the work, Dave came over and did it himself.  He was cordial and did a quality job.  I couldn't be there, so I wrote up detailed instructions about where I wanted the plugs and such, and reiterated what we had agreed to verbally, and left that with my fiancee, who met Dave at the house.  It took him about 3 1/2 hours to do the work.

The receptacles are exactly what I wanted, exactly where I wanted them, and work great.

D&L is a little pricey, compared to a handyman, but they are licensed electrical contractors, so I am guaranteed that their work will be up to code and a first-rate job.

I was very happy.The cost included the new smoke alarm and the service call.

Did very good job. Worked with us on billing dates. Honest company. Highest recomendation.

His work was so good that he has since upgraded that entire building (5 additional panels) and two boards in other buildings that I own. I know his work was reasonably priced because another company did work on my home the year before, and charged me the same amount to swap out an old board as David charged to put in a completely new panel. Highly recommended!
