We had two shower & faucet leaks we were unable to fix ourselves. Frank from Action Services came out and was able to fix the leak quickly!

This is my second job with Action Services. Gil arrived on time and ready to work. Made short work of the project. Even swept the floor after finishing.

Everything went well. Leonard arrived on time, got right to work, and completed the job in half the time. I am totally satisfied with his work.

I had a broken water heater. I called several other companies and selected them based on the fact they would get things fixed for me that same day and their prices were very, very reasonable. Their person was on time, worked very quickly and was very polite, progessional, friendly and worked clean. I would use them again and recommend the without hesitation.

I am very happy. They were on time and did great job. They answered many questions.

It took their receptionist too long to get back to me. I sent her a list of things I needed done and she told me I needed to hire someone else for most of my list- there was two whole days of work on there! I asked her what work they would actually be able to do for me from my list, and she still hasn't gotten back to me. Said I needed to provide them with a list of things to do so that they could tell me what I needed to buy before they even showed up. The other receptionist was very nice.

Gil arrived early and began work before the plumber and electrician arrived. Both the plumber and electrician were professional and efficient. Gil coordinated the work and also personally took care of the new valve and gas line. Everyone did a very neat job, including painting the new line. Very good experience. Would definitely use Action again.

It went great. He was on time and quickly repaired it. He held himself in a professional manner.

TERRIBLE COMPANY, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! Action Services Inc is a bad company to do business with. They initially agreed to redo the grouting in my kitchen and bathrooms and then later said that they would charge me a whopping $85 per different color grouts for the different color of grouts in my kitchen and bathrooms. So they did a switch and bait on me;first they say we will do your grouting repairs for $89 but then they want to charge you a whopping $85 per different color of grout which is a total robbery of the customer. With in tile jobs grout is the least expensive thing you use for materials...yet they want to charge you an extra 400% to do the job....what a RIP-OFF!!

I had purchased three hours of handymand service because we had a Casablanca ceiling fan and light fixture that we wanted to swap out with another brand because we have the house on the market. Scott showed on time and he did an excellent job in redoing some of the connection from the old fan. The only reason for the B rating was that the company took some time to schedule the appointment. They are Long Beach and we are at the outskirts of the San Gabriel Valley therefore, they attempted to connect appointments. I do not see any problem when looking for travel. I would recommend them for any handyman work.

Gil from Action Services was able to replace a 30 year old water heater for us. He also had to retrofit to meet all the newest city code items including the earthquake straps. His service was excellent. We have wood fllors and he covered them with a drop cloth. He was very clean and left no mess behind.

The Angie's list Big Deal coupon had expired but the company honored it. Thanks!!

It was a good experience. He was professional and prompt. I am pleased with the work that was done.

We had to change the appointments a couple of times due to staffing issues on their end. The plumber technician then came out without supplies, such as pipes and plumbing pieces. We were unaware that we were responsible for purchasing these supplies prior to him coming out. The owner did come through because we called and spoke to him and he did not bill us anything additional so we were happy with this. The work was fine; however, it seemed to be less than professional for what we had paid for.

Consider yourself warned - this business does not stand behind their work and in fact lied about events which occurred The technician showed up on time and was courteous. I explained the work I needed performed and he got to work. The replacement of the air switch went smoothly. Replacing the cartridge on the faucet was a little more of a challenge as he wasn't sure how to get access to the cartridge, but he did figure it out and it also went relatively smoothly. The problem arose when the technician went to replace the water filtration faucet. The faucet which was being replaced had an air gap, while the new faucet did not. The technician asked if I wanted to proceed and I told him that I did because the original company who installed my reverse osmosis system told me that the air gap was not essential. He installed the faucet and and tested to ensure that it was working (which I discovered later was just retained water in the storage tank). The problem arose the next day when we noticed the refrigerator water dispenser was not working. I checked the valve underneath the sink and saw that the technician had left the refrigerator line and reverse osmosis water supply valves turned off. No big deal. I turned them on and refrigerator water dispenser was working again. We came back into the kitchen about 15 minutes later and noticed water all over our wood floor. I quickly turned the reverse osmosis valve off and after investigating discovered the technician had just tucked the lines he removed from the old faucet behind the filter cartridges -- unfortunately one of these lines was the waste water drain line from the system and was the one that leaked all over the floor. I don't know if the technician didn't know what to do with these lines or he just didn't care, but for him to not cap them off or ensure proper drainage was just negligent. I called the office immediately and asked to speak with the supervisor who called me back a little later. When I explained to him what happened he was very sympathetic and stated that this should not have happened. He asked for some time to speak with the technician and review the paperwork and he would call me back with a plan to get this fixed. However, after speaking with the technician, suddenly the story changed. The technician stated that he told me that the system would leak and that I told him I was going to call the company who installed the system to repair it - a total lie. I tried to explain to the supervisor the lack of logic in this explanation. Why would I let the technician replace the faucet if my system was going to become non-functional and leak all over our floor. The supervisor stood by his employee's version and refused to come complete the repairs unless I purchased the necessary parts (which I wouldn't even know where to get) and I agreed to pay a $150 service charge. I am very disappointed in the response of this company. Their technician lied and the supervisor is unwilling to stand behind their work. He told me that the conversation was not over and he was going to have further discussions with his employee about communicating better, but was willing to do nothing to address my concerns. Now I have to call another company to fix Action Services mistake. Keep that in mind before buying any deals for this company or even using this company at all. I expect much better from Angie's List vendors.

.They came out he did whatever it was he did. Well after he left we had no hot water. I looked and looked so did my wife and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. I called them they said he was out of a big job and that she would have him call me back but it would probably not be before the next day. Well the next day came he didn't call. I got a hold of a friend of mine he came over and it had something to do with the pilot light thing. he fixed it and it was working. It wasn't until Monday that he finally called me back which really upset me as we could have gone through the whole weekend without hot water if my friend had not come over. I would not use them again.

They called the day before our scheduled appointment and moved it from the morning to the afternoon, then in th afternoon they did not show up. Since it was a saturday when I called the office after waiting 2 hours I found that the office closed at 12:00. We finally got a call 3 hours after the appointment telling us they wouldn't make it and we re-scheduled for the next week. The next week the plummer showed up an hour late. After the installation we had to call them back because there was a leak. Based on all of this you would think I would give them a bad review, but I can't. The gentleman who came to our house was ine of the nicest guys I have had do work for me, he told me he missed the first appointment because he had taken a customer to the emergency room who had fallen while he was working in thoer house. When he had to come back to fix the leak he came back on a saturday, he brought his daughter because he was on his way to Knots with her when he got the call on his day off and decided he should takecare of our issue instead making us wait a few more days. It was his great customer service that saved this job.

Call for an apartment and they sent Frank within the hour. Showed me how to flush water heater for future and electric heater s/b done 2x yly.

They were here when they said they would be, so from that angle everything is good, they asked us information about the water heater we had ahead of time, and they researched, and took information about the serial number and the warranty details, I liked that they looked at all of this ahead of time, he sounded knowledgeable, and presented himself well, We would have been there the first place if we knew that, they were offering that kind of service. They recommended that we have some things done, and we have some parts connected to the water heater that are old and should be replaced, and I think we will call them to do that here, in the near future.

Unfortunately he forgot to tighten the drain stopper valve underneath the sink. We did not use the sink until late that evening and noticed the leak. We called Action Services on Wednesday and left a message but received NO response. Sent an email to the company on Thursday afternoon after calling again on Thursday (22nd) morning with no response. John called on Friday (23rd) morning and would send someone out immediately except no one would be home until after 3:00 PM and we were promised that someone would definately be there on Friday. Called at 5:10 PM and spoke to Jasmine who reassured us that Gilbert would be there as soon as he finished other job. No one came on Friday, nor Saturday. Called them again on Monday morning only to find we were on schedule between between Noon and 4:00 pm. Gilbert finally arrived at 3:59 PM to fix his mistake. We also noticed that the faucet is noww hard to use, but do not know why.

The plumber ended up charging my daughter an extra $108 to go out and buy a faucet! This charge, in my opinion, is clearly excessive, and took advantage of my daughter's inexperience in dealing with such exploitative business practices. The company, Action Services, in response said they clearly state materials are extra, but not carrying simple spare plumbing parts and charging more than the "deal" just to go out and buy one, leads one to believe their practices are calculated. I expected an Angie's List A rated contractor to have passed a better screening, and am re-evaluating my participation in Angie's List as a result.
