Fixed the seal around front door, replaced ceiling lights and installed wall bracket to hang flat screen.

Gil got here night at the end of the designated time, but he was professional, courteous and fixed both problems quickly.

Contractor was very quick and did a great job!

Josh was great. He arrived on time, did a great job, was courteous and friendly.

After a few rescheduling problems work was done well and on time.

I didn't need more than an hour. So three was too much buy trays use due to my not knowing the time needed.

They didn’t stay the 2 hours, not even close. He was trying to sell me on a more expensive repair that I was able to get taken care of for much less than what he was quoting. I was quoted $2000+ by Action Services and ended up getting it fixed $150.00. He offered to apply the additional time from my 2 hours towards the other replacement. The technician was polite but he was more worried about selling other services than helping me for my 2 hours.

Josh arrived on time and got right to work installing my new mail box. He was polite, and took care of my list of 11 handymen tasks (plus a few new ones) with knowledge and skill. It was great to get all those little things done.

This was a terrible experience - and we are still experiencing the fallout from it. We called Ace for an appointment. It took them one month - one month!- to respond. After the checkup, the plumber who came over told us we needed to order some parts. We ordered them, then again launched into a round of calls - to which the company never responded, until weeks later. The next visit to fix the parts took almost as long with the same story. We asked him to replace our water filter as well. Once we ordered it, he said it would need some more parts. Apparently, the manufacturer stopped manufacturing these so we ended up, on his advice, buying a whole new unit. When he finally came to fix that, we were told he was unable to do it - because he just didn't know how! Not what you expect to hear from a professional. So 2.5 months and $400 later, we don't have the job done. Bottomline -very bad service - they just don't seem to care about their business. No one returns any call. You have to be lucky to find the operator on her desk if you want to schedule something, which is rare. And worst of all when they do come they are utterly incompetent and don't have a good or helpful attitude. We are left with a leaky kitchen water dispenser and some expensive parts. We hope Angie's List will be able to help us find a solution. We need to get this fixed.

They were professional. They explained and showed me what they were going to do. They did a good job and were real quick.

I first used the 2 hour plumbing deal. He wasn't able to fix the leaky shower since it was a big job. He did unclog my shower and attempt to change my bathroom faucet. Turns out the brand new faucet had a leak in it. He made an estimate where the other guy that would come out to fix my shower would do it. The estimate he gave was all-inclusive - which meant that he would do both for the price he gave me. When the second guy came out and saw the estimate, he said that that was wrong. In any case, I bought the wrong faucet, so he didn't change it. So now, I have to have someone come out again, and what would have been free will not cost me $200 (his estimate). Neither of them cleaned up after themselves very well. I don't think I will use Angie's Big deal again. I haven't had a very good experience with any of them.

Action Services was not responsive to my emails. They responded to the first one about when to sechedule, but when I emailed back asking about the time window, they did not reply. i had to call them the day of the service to even find out what was going on. I asked the plumber about unclogging some drains. He said he forgot the equipment he needed for that. I asked the plumber to check on the toilet flush handles. He did check and said they, along with the flappers, should be replaced. I agreed. He then said that I would be charged an $85 trip charge. I don't remember reading that in the fine print! And nobody told me that when I scheduled! So, I assumed I would be charged $85 for the trip to cover his extra time, and I would still get two hours of service at my home. NOPE! THE CLOCK WOULD STILL BE RUNNING WHILE HE WENT TO THE STORE! Then what is the trip charge for?! I called Action Services and explained about getting ripped off, and I was hoping it was a simple misunderstanding by the plumber. NOPE! The best they could offer me was to still not pause the clock, but allow me to have some free overage over the two hours! The two hour clock not stopping, plus an $85 trip charge, basically means I was double-charged for the same time. This, to me, is tantamount to theft. I considered just telling the plumber to leave my house and then to have no service, and try my best to get a refund, but I decided they probably wouldn't want to give me a refund, etc. So I let him continue, expecting him to at least be able to help with my other issues and try and salvage some value of this. The plumber did go to the store and replace the toilet flush handles and flappers. This is the only item of significance that the plumber did for me. I asked the plumber to help identify a water hammer. We tried to reproduce it but couldn't. He said he couldn't do anything about it without seeing it. I read online about water hammers previously, and asked if he could flush the system as I had read, and he either said he could not, or that it wouldn't do anything. I asked the plumber to go underneath the house to help identify the water hammer and to check for any loose pipes, but he said it wasn't included in the deal. I don't remember reading this in the fine print! He did stick his head down there but it didn't really help. At the end of the day, I ended up spending over $300 just to replace three toilet flush handles and flappers. $99 for the two hours of plumbing service, $85 for a bogus "trip charge", and about $125 for parts. I'm okay paying for parts, but I'm not okay with the trop charge, and I'm not even okay paying for the two hours of plumbing service, because the plumber was unprepared and wasn't able to do things I needed him to do. How can Action Services fix this for me? By refunding the $85 trip charge and half of the $99 (which is generous, because I got less than half of what I thought I would). Alternatively, if Action Services wants to send a different plumber out for free to unclog a couple drains and fix my water hammer, I'll call it even.

Great service - knowledgable & offered tips for extending the life of my water heater. Also diagnosed a problem that was effecting the efficiency of the unit & my gas usage. Great help!

Plumber was on time. Courteous. Replaced faucet efficiently. Wasn't able to fix leak in jacuzzi because I didn't have the parts needed.

Gil came on time and quickly cut and re routed the pipe.

On time check all items, Fixed problems. Could fix washer / dryer valve as parts not @ properly.
