We heard hissing in wall. Contacted Action Services. Requested Gilbert. Gilbert came and quickly found the problem. Found a leak under house. Placed dryers to dry inside wall. Returned on Monday and completed the repair. I highly recommend this company. The office staff is very efficient and kept in touch with me. Gilbert was a true professional. This is my second time using them and they really have their act together.

We actually never got a chance to use the service, and here's why. I bought one of Angie's Big Deals with this company for plumbing service. I thought it was a six month expireation date and it was only five months, expiring 5/31/12. Due to my own negligence, the certificate expired. However, I called them a couple a weeks after the certificate expired and explained what happened and the very nice girl in the office said they would probably still honor the certificate. I explained that I didn't currently have any plumbing probems, but that I did want to replace the toilets and sinks. She said they would be happy to give me an estimate and they would probably lower the price of the estimate by the value of the certificate, so I made an appointment for 6/23/12. Their representative, Gilbert, arrived on time, even calling me a half hour before to let me know when he would be there. He looked over all the items I wanted to change, made notes on his application form and left a copy with me telling me that he would get an estimate for the work to me the next week. He explained that their company was complete service, also doing construciton work. I was excited because one of the items needing repair was our back steps which were rotting away and a serious concern. Gilbert and I discussed this issue and he took pictures of the steps, so he knew I was anxious to get them repaired. It has been 4 weeks and I have still not received any further response from them. Needless to say, I couldn't wait any longer to get the steps repaired and went to another source. I feel that if a company cannot follow through on an estimate, that they can't be too trustworthy to complete a job as agreed. So for this reason, I give Action Services an F .... for Failure to repsond

I bought 3 hours of handyman service as a "Big Deal". I was told I would be scheduled approximately 3 weeks out and would be called on that Monday with an exact date/time. I had to call them on Tuesday and was given a Friday date/time. The handyman called about half and hour before the window to confirm he would arrive in about an hour. He arrived at that time. He was able to quickly and correctly perform my task list. He was able to repair a faucet another contractor had told me needed to be replaced and saved me the cost of the big deal. The other tasks were minor repairs/maintenance of type I have done myself in the past and would have done myself if I were currently physically able. The job site was left clean.

update 12/19/13. happened to go up into the garage crawlspace and found all of the trash from the roof opening that was cut for the solar vents. nothing was cleaned up. will now have to go into the house crawlspace to (i assume) remove the same from the other solar install. would have been easier to buy the tools and do the job myself

The serviceman prompt, courteous, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want -- the larger garbage disposal. The serviceman also helped me with another problem while he was here and didn't charge me.

After a few hiccups, I was able to get my bathroom shower re-caulked. Tech showed up early, communicated well during the process and had me check things as he progressed on each stage of the job. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Action Services followed up once the job was completed as well.

Gil came on time, very profressional and explained problems and solutions for items above. Did great job and cleaned up after! Would recommend to friends.

Went well. Was supposed to come out at 8:00 but didnt make it until 9:35am. Job was done in an hour.
