The fact that I am writing this review just two months after having a baby tells you that I really liked the work done and the people who did it. Bob and Cassady are very hard working and responsive. We had several contractors bidding for the project, involved them early during the design process, and met repeatedly as the design evolved. Construction Services stood out because of their detailed and thorough proposal, their helpful feedback on the design, and their professionalism (e.g., always being punctual and prepared). They also inspire more confidence because they have their own crew for a bulk of the work (vs. contracting everything out), which gives them better control over cost and schedule. My husband and I both work, and it's our first time doing a major project like this. On top of that,?I learned that I got pregnant right after construction started. Fortunately, the crew was quite self sufficient. We only answered questions regarding our preferences, then work got done and was high quality. Cassady met with us once a week to go over schedule, to tell us what material to order, to address issues, etc. We talked to the foreman, Juan, every morning about more detailed things. Juan was extremely nice, hard working and helpful. In addition to ensuring high quality work, he would clean the job site every day, which was important for us since we lived on site in a separate building. Time after time he would go out of his way to solve problems for us. All the workers were also very friendly and helpful. The project was completed on time in six months. We love the end result. Not only they delivered the spec, but also they have helped adding some nice touches. For example, our architect initially did not include a skylight in the master bathroom because the roofing there was complicated due to a new roof added over the old roof. Thanks to these guys we were able to get a skylight in there, otherwise the bathroom would have been completely dark despite two windows on the side. Another example was Cassady's suggestion of using a rain chain instead of down spout for the front porch, which looked much more attractive.?To be honest, they did make a couple of mistakes due to miscommunication which happens in any major project. But they were prompt in taking corrective action, and showed that they stood by their work. We have lived in the house for four months now and still happy with everything.

They delivered the project on time. They were very communicative and have kept me in the loop. They are very easy to work with. They are fair and honest. I would use them again.

They did a solid work and they are extremely responsive. They work with a designer, who is excellent. Her name is Michelle Miner, we highly recommend her.

Cassady and his crews were always professional, respectful, and well informed. There were problems, of course, but so far everything has been resolved to my satisfaction. For instance, when a few pots were broken on day one, I came home to new replacement pots. We are waiting on the final walk through, but I have no doubts all will go well. Cassady had really good ideas when we needed them.

They were quick and in/out. I really enjoyed working with them. I've recommended them to several people. This company is very real and to the point. The inital quote and the final bill was different, but that was because I had added additional items.

The owner, Bob, provided the most comprehensive, well documented quote. His references were excellent and he was a pleasure to deal with. I didn't go with his team because they struggled with the foundation work and the price for that piece was a deal breaker. We had the fully approved plans in hand, along with the soils engineering and structural work. His team just didn't have the proper experience to work in the hills of San Mateo County for the extensive grading and drilling required for my specific project. Also for the ~$440 sq foot price, it was well documented that a few other potential high dollar items were excluded. This well documented bid was at least 30% higher then the next 'all encompassing' bid and as much as 45% higher than some of the others I received.

The guys from Construction Services know their job. They work actively to as completing it in a very good way.

They have very good people skills. They are very courteous and responsive. We went to see some houses with them and we need to basically negotiate a price. The houses we've seen are beautiful. They actually had us talk to one of their client directly. When they showed us the houses, one house was done and people live in it so we talked to the owners. They were very responsive.

They're on time and always very very helpful at addressing issus that may be problematic later on. Every day they make sure to clean up everything before they leave. They listened to my input and was always willing to adjust as necessary They started the job exactly when they said they would and kept me updated on the schedule at all times. The first job was compl;eted on time and the second was done ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality.
