A team of 4 women came in and did about 1.5 hours of work, and the end result was very good.  It was a little pricey, but they did great work.  They were on time, called ahead, and I would recommend them!

Due to our busy schedule, we hired Merry Maids to do basic cleaning; vacuum, clean bathrooms and kitchen, and mop hardwood floors.  At first the service seemed great, then over time things went down hill.  Our shower started showing mold in the grout lines, the sink drains were still dirty, they threw out the garbage bag metal ring holder that sits inside our kitchen trash (the ring expands on the inside of bin so you can fold the liner over it from the inside vice folding the bag over the outside, which we have to do now), and they completely scratched and and ruined in 1yr old stainless steal oven such that it's irreparable.
I called and complained, and they replaced the crew. But it turns out the first crew was the better crew, and things went down hill even faster. 
Their attention to the details is poor.  If you want a "surface" cleaning, this is the right team.  If you want cleaning like you would do yourself if you had the time, this is NOt the right team.  For such a well-know company, this is very disappointing. 

Margot, who did the estimate, was very prompt and professional. Then, on cleaning day, two women arrived first thing in the morning, and spent around 5 hours here; as soon as they were finished, the carpet guy came in and did a GREAT job on the carpets, which had gotten pretty dirty (he even left paper runners in the halls and little plastic carpet-protecting squares under the furniture feet). I was not home during any of this time, but my neighbor kept an eye on things for me, and reported that everyone seemed to work really hard; this was obvious when I came home and saw what a great job they did. I am pretty picky, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they didn't "miss" any of the areas (baseboards, corners, etc.) that I thought they might. I plan to set up monthly service with them. I also liked the fact that, when I walked into the office to set up service, they were conducting a formal "how to properly clean a house" training session for several new employees.

I would not recommend this service. Not only did they arrive late, but they were not helpful. The job they performed was only average. I had a full-arm cast on and so asked them to help me put clean sheets on a bed for company (I had already laundered the sheets and they were ready to go on the bed). I was told that they did not make beds and could not do it. I called the office to see if we could do this - even for an extra charge - and I was told no. I was forced to make the bed as best I could and my company who arrived the next day had to make the rest of the bed themselves.

I NEEDED HELP IMMEDIATELY AND THIS PLACE WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND. THEY CAME ON TIME AND THEY WERE THOROUGH IN EVERY PLACE THAT THEY CLEANED. I WAS A WRECK BEFORE THEY CAME.
