Description of Work: My 75 Gal. water heater began to leak, So it was time for me to replace it. After some checking I decided to use this contractor to install my new water heater(base on his good reviews). I'm glad I did. His price was better than most and he was on time and very friendly. He installed my 75 gallon (300 LBS when empty) water heater in 1 hour and 45 minutes and I had my hot water in 10 minutes after that. Lowes wanted to charge me $1000 for installation only because I have a 70 gal and not 40 or 50 gal!!! Home Depot asked for $650 to install it. But Wallace did a great job at much better price. If I have a plumbing problem, I'll definitely use this provider again.

Installed confidence in me on the excellent professionalism. Not only will I use them if needed, but will recommend them to neighbors and friends!
Description of Work: Sewer line cleaned out. There was a blockage due to building contractor use of wrong part.

 + -1 moreThe new Range I bought from Sears was left sticking out about 6 in from wall after installation due to previous gas piping accommodating the old range . JW Plumbing showed up within 3 hours of my call. Assessed the situation. Quoted me a fair estimate of $75.00. Within 1/2 hour JW Plumbing rotated the pipe fixture into a more flush position with the wall enabling the range to fit into perfect alignment with the counter top on each side. I had called other plumbing companies which quoted me $75.00 to $85.00 just for the house call with parts and labor added to the basic fee. None of the other plumbing companies were able to come out the same day. JW Plumbing honored Angie's list member coupon for 5% off any service call, which brought my out of pocket cost to $71.00. JW Plumbing was fast, efficient and affordable. I am very happy with the service they provided.
Description of Work: Fixed range installation performed by Sears which left the new range protruding from the wall about 6 inches.

He answered promptly and agreed to be at my house early in the morning since we had surgery scheduled for later in the mornging. He was very quick and offered an easy solution to another plumbing annoyance we had. He has my highest recommendation with no reservations.

 + -1 moreI was first told that he would be at my house around 10:00am. I have 3 dogs so I needed to put them in my garage. At 10 he called and told me he was running a little behind and he would be at my house around 10:30. It was nice that he called to let me know. The people at Lowe's never even called us. We waited all weekend. Do call J.W. Plumbing. Don't have Lowe's of Palmdale/ Lancaster do any work for you. Thank you
Description of Work: On Friday we found that our hot water heater was leaking and we needed a new one. We called Lowe's first to see if they could deliver and install a new one. We paid extra to have it done on Saturday from 2-4 pm. We waited and waited. 5:00pm we called to see what the hold up was. At 5:30 they came. It took them all of 5 minutes to tell us they would have to come back. They needed to drill a hole to run some pipes out side. They said it would be first thing in the morning. At 11:55am I called and was told that they were just going to call us. Sure. The guys that were going to install the hot water heater said that Lowe's would not allow them to drill any holes so they couldn't do it. We called Lowe's and asked if they could just deliver the hot water heater and we would find our own person to install it. I checked here on Angie's list and found J.W Plumbing. Our hot water heater was delivered at 9:00am and J.W.Plumbing was at our house by 10:30. They finished at 12:05 and I had hot water at 1:00. I'm very happy with the job they did. If I ever need a plumber again I know who to call. J.W. Plumbing...Thanks you Donna Siano and Steve Colet- Lake Elizabeth

Description of Work: There was water leaking under the kitchen sink. He discovered that the faucet hose was leaking. He went to try to find a new hose, but could not.
