ilai at Pristine Plumbing first responded to our call in the night for a emergency call. He arrived soon after and was able to assess the situation and provide us with a quote. Work proceeded quickly after and ilai followed through to make sure we were okay. I would definitely call Pristine Plumbing again and would highly recommend!

A very nice lady, the office manager?, stated that there was a tech. available and he would call me. Several minutes later he called and gave what I thought was a very high price. But - had to be done that day so I accepted. He then talked me into another model, supposedly much better, at a slightly higher cost. I accepted. When it was installed it sounded like a jet taking off. I complained to the office manager and Pristine stood by their word of customer satisfaction and "replaced the replacement". All is well that ends well.

I called on Thursday and talked with a pleasant receptionist/scheduler requesting a Friday visit. We agreed on an 8am to 10am window. Jim arrived shortly after 8am.
I described to Jim various issues related to water pressure. He tested the yard water pressure, and then tested the in-house pressure both statically and during a toilet flush. Jim explained how yard water pressure was directly tied to the incoming water line, and provided quick suggestions on how to improve my sprinkler issues. The house water pressure dropped 10psi during a simple toilet flush, and that was a clue that the 20 year old pressure regulator was no longer doing its job fully. He replaced the pressure regulator, and while in that area, replaced the old water shut-off twisting gate valve with a new lever ball valve. The lever provides an instant indication of the on-off position, and Jim said there was another advantage about the mechanical way they work too.
I tend to ask lots of questions because I like to understand how things work. Jim was great about describing each step of his work. He placed a rubber bottomed carpet under the work area as well as a catch all bin. That kept him clean from my garage, as well as keeping my garage floor free of moisture and various job related stuff. Overall, I think the whole arrival to drive away took about 2.5 hours.
I do not really know about pricing. Plumbers are rarely called because I do toilet, faucet, and garbage disposal replacements myself, so have little experience for comparison. Because of all the questions asked, I do know quality work was performed, and that influenced my price rating. 

My existing Moen faucet failed within 18 months of installation.  Pristine installed another faucet I had purchased.  All aspects of the service were excellent other than the price.  The list price was $345 to install a 'customer supplied' faucet. This was reduced to $301 since lead-in hosing was fairly new and did not need to be replaced.  I feel that this is a very high price.  The installer 'added-in' a drain clean-out that I did not need or request since he said he was not authorized to reduce the price.

A person answered the phone and gave me accurate arrival time within 2 hours.  Not bad considering I called 4 other places and had to wait for return calls.  In my case, I need to open up the wall to replace drain pipes and a jet cleaning for the service drain.  They do not do these bigger jobs.  He did give me a handyman referral though.

They came out within 4 hours of my call. The first day, they used equipment to locate the slab leak. They opened up a wall to get access to the water pipe with the problem. They isolated the pipe, made it dead (not usable). They turned the water back on. Had water throughout the house except for one bathroom where the pipe went to. The next morning they came back to rerun a new pipe to bypass the bad one. Since it went into the slab, it could not be repaired. They went outside and removed some stucco wall from the house to repair it from the outside. All repairs were made on the second day. They also repaired the stucco and repainted the house where the repairs were made. The stucco finish and paint color was matched. This is my third time using Pristine Plumbing. When you find a company that has consistently good work, you keep using them.

OMG, Dwain Bush did a FANTASTIC job. Very neat, clean and professional. It was a bit pricey but I know that it's work done correctly. I WILL call this company back if I have more work. Thank you Dwain.

Very considerate and pleasant to work with. We called them when we couldn't light the pilot on our water heater and they replaced the igniter for us. We were so impressed with them that I called them again a few weeks later when we had a clogged toilet. both experiences were great. Without even being asked he put shoe covers on before coming inside our home. After he fixed the toilet he even cleaned it! We will absolutely call them next time we need a plumber.

First call was made on a Sunday evening to leave a message for someone to call us back the next day. To our surprise a female actually answered the phone (employee not an answering service) and promised to call back the next day to schedule the appointment. Nobody called us back until Tuesday afternoon and we set an appointment for the next day Wednesday.
The technician showed up a few minutes early for the appointment. Work was done well and the technician was very courteous, dressed appropriately and informative. The only criticism we have was the surprise to find out that the minimum charge for just coming to the door was $165.00 plus parts and additional labor depending on what needed to be done. We would have appreciated knowing that in advance from the initial phone call for assistance. Otherwise the experience was very positive and we would use this firm again.

Living in San Diego, but owning a rental property approximately 60 miles away in Laguna, California, I had to find someone that I could count on in that area. Through a friend, I contacted Richard of Pristine Plumbing and he immediately put my mind at ease. My tenant is elderly, lives alone and often has difficulties hearing and understanding. Richard took excellent care of her, made her feel comfortable and addressed the issue immediately. Not only was he prompt and efficient, but he actually took a photo of the problem area and emailed it to me for my records!
I cannot begin to say how comforting is it to know that with just one phone call, I can contact an experienced plumber who will handle my tenant professionally and with respect, is neat and tidy, will take care of my issues and be fair and honest in his dealings and charges. Now, if Richard can only become a licensed electrician, TV and phone repair man, certified IT guru and possibly get his medical degree....I'd be set for life!
I would recommend Pristine Plumbing without hesitation.
