My refrigerator's water tubing had a slow leak we had not detected. By the time there was water on the floor to see the cabinets on either side had soaked up water and swollen. The tech couldn't budge it out of its space and he and I both could only get it out about eight inches. He called in another tech and the two of them, with considerable difficulty and time finally extracted the refrigerator from its place. In spite of the extra time and the extra tech coming, I only paid a little more than a similar repair six years ago. Although the leak appeared to be fixed after repairs, another small leak appeared by the next morning. The tech came back again within an hour of calling A Star Services and found another crack in the feed line to the filter and fixed it at no additional charge.

Jonathan the repairman was terrific. However, they charged far too much, took 8 days to complete a very minor repair, and the receptionist was one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with.

Refrigerator was making popping noise from the area of the ice maker. Knew there was a $65.00 service fee and was okay with that. Repair man said ice maker was bad and went to buy one and returned with new ice maker only to find out the ice maker that came with the refrigerator was working and tested it to make sure. Reinstalled original ice maker back into fridge and could not identify where sound was coming from even though I had recorded sound/video on phone. Total charge was 90.00 since he worked on the original ice maker testing it. Repairman states keep an eye on it and record more of the sound and left phone number. So, the sound coming from the fridge is still there and out the money.
