LIVING SPACES

It's a small business.They don't have the best furniture but I got their furniture for my kids. I don't know how to compare them with other companies. They have a big warehouse but I don't like their furniture that much because it's not really modern. They charged extra for delivery.

We bought a dresser and two night stands. The process was very smooth and the delivery was on time. We had an issue with the dresser. One drawer would keep sliding out. We called Living Spaces and they replaced in the following week. Over all very good service.

The overall experience was average.

We purchased 2 Berkline recliner chairs on 10/12/08 which were delivered on 11/08/08. They are leather on parts of the chair.
In the last few months we have noticed the chairs have split apart on one of the chairs, and on the other one the material is flaking off.
We called LIVING SPACES, and of course as we had expected they said the material had a warranty of one year. We are senior citizens, don't have pets, so there is not much wear and tear on the chairs.
They also mentioned that Berkline had gone out of business, so we were really out of luck.
We feel that a chair should last longer than 2 years and 7 months.
The customer service person that called back kept repeating that the chair was only warranted for one year, which we understood, but we suggested that LIVING SPACES should stand behind the products that they sell. The representative was quite aloof and unconcerned about our complaint.
Working in sales and PR myself, I know that it is possible to be complacent after a while, but this not a good image for LIVING SPACES.
We are very disappointed with the quality of their service, and will not do business with them, or recommend them to other people. By the way, my daughter and son-in-law bought a bedroom set and other furniture from them at the same time as we did.

SERVICE WAS GOOD, THE SELECTION WAS EXCELLENT. WE HAD MANY CHOICES AND WE WERE HELPED IN THE PROCESS FROM BEGINNING TO END. DELIVERY WAS SMOOTH AND NO PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED.

WE PURCHASED A DINING TABLE AND 2 BUFFET TABLES WITH 1 HUTCH FOR OUR KITCHEN. THE SERVICE WAS GOOD, AND THE DELIVERY PROCESS WAS EXCELLENT. THE STORE IS BIG, AND THE WORKERS ARE VERY HELPFUL.
