Made contact by email. Target Electric called and then I responded by email. Made the appointment a week 1/2 out. I confirmed with email the next day. James the tech called and advised he was on his way and then called and advised travel was heavy and was going to be a few minutes late. James arrived showed him where and explained the situation. He went back out and came back with his tools. He determined the switch was the issue. James advised that the $49. only covered the hour service call and not any items needed to repair/ replace. James advised he did have a wall switch and that it was $60.00 and then asked if as there were two switches in location if I wanted to replace the other. I said yes. So he went out, got the switches and put them in. He also brought in a small shop vacuum and cleaned up around the area. Took care with replacing Light switch cover. Even the point of using level on it both ways to make sure was level. Then he wanted to check as it's an older home, if plugs were grounded or not. Then went out to panel outside and wanted to check to see how that looked. Then processed out to van and took about 20 minutes to prepare several different estimates depending on what was done. To replacing the kitchen / bathroom with those switches used around water. To replacing all the old breakers / and then all the plugs / wall switches in the house. . So all in all He was here around an hour 1/2. He was pleasant, polite, professional.

I was incredibly impressed with Sean from Target Electric. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable, polite and extremely professional. He did a fantastic job repairing some electrical issues we had been needing to have addressed since we purchased our home and the labeling of our electrical panel. He was also able to identify and correct a few other minor electrical issues we hadn't noticed. We were so pleased with his work that we called him back out after we discovered another (unrelated) electrical issue when were were having an exterior sliding door replaced. When we removed the door we found a mess of exposed wires in the open space that needed to be addressed before the new door could be put in. Sean was absolutely amazing! He understood our dilemma and was thankfully able to adjust his schedule to come out that very day! The masterful work he performed went beyond our expectations and was done for the initial quoted price which was a reasonable and fair cost. Sean is now the only electrician I'll be calling when I need electrical work performed in my home and I've recommended Target Electric to all of my friends, family and co-worker for their electrical needs too! Well. He was clear and direct.

Sean, the owner/operator, came within the quoted time frame and called ahead to let us know he was on his way. He showed up and explained what he was going to do. He did exactly what he said he was going to do while asking all of our little questions along the way. He found some little items we needed to get looked at and then quoted us for the whole list of items he noted along the way. He took care to explain every thing, what we may need, what is a definite safety concern, and what could wait. He was attentive to every detail. I will definitely be calling Sean for any future electrical work.

I get inundated with these offers from Amazon-local and now I'm receiving offers from Angie's List. Most of them I just delete because I don't need nor want the service/item. But the offer from Angie's list to have my electrical panel circuit breakers identified and labeled and an electrical inspection for $59 (by Target Electric) was just too good to pass up. (I had a new electrical panel installed a few years ago and most of the circuit breakers were not labeled. I had told the installer not to label because I wanted to do it myself and label the breakers in my normal retired electronics engineer anal-retentive fashion. Well, years later and I still have not taken the time to label the circuit breakers. That is why this deal was too good to pass up.) Sean McAuley (the owner of Target Electric) arrived on time as scheduled and explained the process of how he was going to identify the circuits prior to starting. He was courteous, professional, and congenial. I observed him to be very careful as he energetically performed circuit identification. I had several discussions with him regarding technical issues and my electronics engineering background allowed me to judge him as being knowledgeable in his trade-craft. Sean McAuley is a licensed electrical contractor and I will likely use him in the future for larger electrical jobs.

Wonderful service, excellent product. Sean is knowlegeable, personable, and honest. It was a difficult job as it is an old house and he had to drill through a support beam which broke a bit. Yet- despited it taking longer and becoming more difficult, there was no extra charge.

I appreciated that he educated me as to what he was doing and why he was doing it.We are a household of women, so we are circumspect about the people we allow into our home. Sean was respectful, a fast and competent worker, and I would recommend him to anyone who wants electrical work done in their home. In addition, although this house has been in the family for 65 years, and we live on a tight budget, many workers will look at the neighborhood, which has become very expensive over time, and will try to jack up their rates. Sean did not try to do this, and I appreciate that more than I can say. The plug works, looks great, is situated in just the right place, in spite that place being harder for Sean to install, and we are very happy.

Sean the electrician was on time and his office staff was very responsive to scheduling appointment. A new light fixture was installed in dining room, which looks great. I really do appreciate people going above and beyond and that's what Sean did by showing us how to remove HDMI cable that was stuck in the wall from mounted TV. We were at our 1 hour limit and he still showed us how to do it ourselves. Being new homeowners, it was definitely helpful. I would use them again for future projects, large or small.
