I called yesterday to arrange for a delivery of flowers to my wife for her birthday. They tried to sell me on a different arrangement than I asked for (I asked for deep colored gladiolas, including purple, with baby's breath, in a vase, with a birthday card--with delivery charge of $10, a total of $60). When I asked what kind of flowers I would be getting for the additional charge, they said roses and lillies. My wife hates both so I said no.
I made certain to arrange for a delivery time of no later than 11am today. I called my wife at 11:05--no flowers. I called the shop and they had no good explanation why they weren't delivered and said they could be delivered in 10 minutes. I told them my wife had already left for work and directed them to refund my money and cancel the order.
