This is the best experience with painters we've ever had. We used to manage a 30 unit apartment building and hired painters almost monthly. We had several people come out to bid painting the exterior of our house; some were a tad bit less $, but the way James explained how he paints we knew this was the company for us. We needed someone to take pride in their work and do the job on our exterior so it would last. Shin was the leader of the crew, and he is an angel. After my trying to pick the right color to no avail, and bringing in my interior designer, the first color that ended up on my house was one that I hated. and they had finished painting the stucco! Well, when I broke the news to Shin that we had to re-paint, he was the consummate professional. In fact, he worked with me to create the "color that was in my head" after not finding it from any of the major paint suppliers. He ended up mixing some of the rejected colors, making a sample of it, and taking it to the store to have it matched. It is the perfect color. It has no name so we call it the "shin special." The crew was so clean, very kind, professional, and went above and beyond in every sense. Not only were we happy with our experience but we will only be using this company in the future. And after having Shin at my house for so many days, I now miss him. Such a sweet man.
I love all the prep work these guys do--its all in the prep. I know this paint will last a long time. oh yeah, and they left my house cleaner than they found it.

Very neat and meticulous. Very careful not to drip paint everywhere, especially our newly installed windows. Painters very polite, kept noise down, and worked non-stop, only to take a very brief lunch. Careful not to disturb neighbors, and no damage to neighbor's property. We will definitely use House Painting for our future projects, and have already recommended House Painting to our friends and relatives.

This is the 3rd time we've used House Painting Inc. and it's been a great experience every time.  First off they  spent almost 2 days of prep time sanding and taking care of any rotted wood that was present.  Then they power washed the whole house before they started to paint. All along the way they questioned us as to how we wanted things done to make sure it was done to our liking and that we were happy.  
The team leader Andrew was a pleasure to work with and is a true pro at what he does. The guys on his crew were also personable and friendly. These are people that understand how to please their customers and truly take pride in there work.  My wife and I have remodeled 3 homes in the last 2 years and this is one of the very best contractors we have worked with.  
On this last job our new front door was late being installed and it wasn't a problem for them.  They returned a couple of days after they finished the house to paint the door without any additional cost.   I can't say enough about how happy we are to have found this company.  A+++++++

The workmen were very reliable and showed up on time every day. This job took almost 3 weeks to complete and they were great about communicating with us during the job. They were very careful not to destroy plants around the house as well as kept our windows covered so no paint spray got on them, even in high winds! Our house was all shingles and a very detailed paint job was required. We were very happy with their work and professional attitude.

James arrived promptly to give us a quote.  He brought proof of licensing, insurance and reviews with him as well as photos of other jobs.  He had his crew of three arrive the next day.  They totally masked off everything, moved the furniture and put test areas on the wall. They worked with my elderly mother to make sure she was agreeing to everything.  It took a total of three days. They were prompt, professional and exceptionally clean, as well as courteous and friendly.  They were sensitive to the age of the residents in the complex, as well as my mother, and tried to cause as little stress and disruption as possible. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

The entire experience was great from start to finish.  James was thorough and friendly, and the crew, led by Song, were diligent, professional and hard working.  They went above and beyond in so many ways:  rebuilding parts of the trim that were badly damaged, removing and disposing of rotten gutters...even taking out my trash cans to the curb.  I was thoroughly satisfied with House Painting Inc, and will definitely use them in the future.

they really do a good job! Mr Lee came on time when he did the measurement ! He shows us their license and pic about what they already done ! He advice how long it will take for our condo and can start to do right away!

James and his crew painted nearly the entire interior of our home, which was built in 1940 and looked like it had not been painted in a very long time.  They were clean and courteous, and did quality work.  Everyone in the organization did what they said they?d do, whether that be arrive when they said they would or guarantee the work.  In fact, because the house is so old, we had a minor problem with the paint on the door jambs, and true to his word, James came out and fixed it.  When I called, he said, ?Don?t worry.  Like I told you, the work is guaranteed?.  I felt an immediate sense of relief come over me.  Because even though companies guarantee their work, they are always looking for loopholes to get out of their guarantees.  Not James.  He was honest.  And I can see he takes his reputation seriously.

I recommended them to my neighbors and friends. They have all gotten a good reviews. I have used them a couple of times. The first one was $3,500 for an exterior paint job on the house. Then, they did some interior painting for me it was around $1,500 or something right in that neighborhood. I know a lot about paint to when a good work is need to be done and what is not. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They did exactly what I asked them to. They used exactly the kind of paint I told them to. They were completely working like, they cleaned up the side afterwards. They had all the equipment they needed for a professional job. They had a good prep. They just did a good work. They did exactly what they said. So, the contracting side was good and the workmanship side was good. They are good company.

First of all, James Lee arrived at my home for the estimate appointment promptly and with all the information I needed to make a decision.  He had copies of his liability and workers' comp insurance and letters of recommendation, as well as photos, addresses and phone numbers of former clients.  He had some suggestions regarding doing the job and saving me some money that the other companies had not made.  He would be able to start the job very soon.  Kim and Sal arrived on Monday morning promptly.  They were friendly, professional and helpful and patient.  Throughout the week-long process they were as considerate as possible, responsive to any concerns or suggestions I had.  They listened to what I said  about how I wanted the job done.  They made constructive suggestions.  They did all the prep work needed, discussed any problems with me so we could resolve them and cleaned up every day when they were done.  It's quite an ordeal, having your house disrupted for such a big job, but they certainly made it as easy as possible for me.  Every room was completed beautifully and I am very happy with the job.  I would definitely call them again.

Our home is a multi-level architectural house with vertical wood siding, built into a hill. It presents a logistical challenge that some other companies declined to attempt. We called on a Friday and James Lee, the House Painting Inc. owner, came  the following day. He gave us a verbal estimate and followed-up with a detailed written estimate via e-mail an hour after he left.  We booked the job the same day. Our House Paininting, Inc. crew, led by Andrew, was punctual, professional and left everything spotless at the end of each work day. They used  top-of-the line Dunn-Edwards exterior paint and the house looks terrific. They actually completed the job early. Both the quality of the work and the crew's work ethic exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be using them again We cannot recommend them highly enough! They deserve an A++++ rating!! 

I had an appointment with this company and they didn't show. I also took the day off and lost a day of pay to try to deal with this. 
It took an hour and 3 phone calls for the company to finally respond saying that they had called my husband (who was out of town on business) to ask him if our house was wood? Then ( the painter estimator) proceeded to tell me that he doesn't do wood houses any more? Something about a law and a 35,000 per day fine? I have no idea what he was talking about? I guess if you're house is more than 30 years old you don't get to have it painted???? Whatever ....big waste of time!

Excellent. Song, the foreman made sure all the complaints from my wife are taken care of before they left. He is so accommodating  and always aims to please us. They also did some work where they did not charge us, such as covering the hole in the ceiling caused by leaky roof and a hole in the wall created by the plumbers. He also pressured wash my aluma cool patio without being asked. Song and Pedro just worked hard all day. I've never seen them take a break except for lunch.
The owner, James also made a very good presentation. This is my 4th exterior painting of this house and i've never experience so much attention to the preparation for painting. Before the work started, the wood siding has cracks while the stucco is peeling off.
On the 3rd day of preparation, two of my neighbors approach Song and asked for a business card of the co. I would gladly give them a high recommendation to anyone.

James came out to provide an estimate.  He listened to all of our likes, dislikes, etc.  He took us across the street to see the colors in the roof and explained how we needed to blend with the roof.  He also pointed out other houses on our block and why they looked good.  He educated us on color.  We discussed what colors we wanted to start with samples.
James' crew showed up on time and started work right away.  They asked questions on old gate posts attached to the house and whether we wanted them removed and the stucco patched.  I forgot to mention it but he called it to my attention.  They also pointed out a piece of wood trim that could make the house look choppy and suggested that it be removed - great idea.  
We went through 4 paint samples before we selected the final colors.  They were very patient with us when selecting the colors. We were very pleased with all of the work done from start to finish and would use them again.

These guys did a fantastic job.  Great attention to detail in their work.  The crew was professional, had a great attitude, and arrived promptly each day.  Aside from the 5 bedrooms we had painted, the biggest and most challenging part of our project was the wood paneled walls in our entryway.  James was concerned about the quality of the wood and was unsure if painting over it would be a good idea.  But we really wanted to move forward with it, and in the end, they did an amazing job.  We are really happy with their work and would definitely them to others.

Great customer service and great job on site.

The proposal was quickly delivered after I asked for it. Of the three providers I asked this was the lowest bid. They could start immediately. Unfortunately I had to wait 2 weeks since I discovered a birds nest. Once the birds had left the crew came out the following Monday. Two workers spend 6.5 days doing the work. Very methodical, very clean, always cleaning up at the end of the day and going beyond the call of duty moving things away from the house walls and helping make small repairs that really weren't part of the scope of work. Very professional and just all around impressive work. I am VERY happy and have no hesitation recommending this company for this type of job.

Mr. Lee provided the estimate and was very thorough in his review of the needs to turn around my rental property.  He noticed things that I did not and offered advice and recommendations regarding repair and color.  The real gem in this company is Shin, the painter assigned to my project.  He was so patient when it came time to pick colors, and made what could have been a very stressful process so much easier.   There was a lot of damage done to my walls from the previous tenant and Shin was meticulous about repair and re-texturing.  I was not charged extra for this.  His work was fantastic.  Of all the painters I've used in the past on rentals and my own home, Shin is hands down the best.

James and the team at House Painting Inc. painted the exterior of my 1929 Spanish style home to perfection!  The team was professional, respectful of my house and neighbors and completed the job on budget and on schedule.  I've worked with several painters in the past and have never been as satisfied with the quality of the work and attention to detail as I have been with House Painting Inc.  The customer service is also outstanding with prompt attention to estimate revisions and flexible scheduling.  Above all this is James' personal attention to his clients and their satisfaction.  My home (being the older home that it is) had a painted driveway which we decided to paint again.  James advised against this stating that the driveway would continue to peel (as it had previously done).  I insisted on having the driveway painted and James told me that he would follow up with me in the spring (he painted my house in the fall) to ensure everything was still looking okay on the driveway and touch up as necessary.  James is a man of his word and did call me to schedule an appointment for touch ups.  This really impressed me since the necessary touch ups were not any fault of James' work, but instead simply peeling that he warned me about but he touched it up free of charge 5 months later.  This attention to detail and personal attention will make me a client of House Painting Inc. for many, many years to come and I will continue to refer them to all of my friends.

No service was actually performed, but they were impressively prompt and organized.  He was very professional, it was just that the quote was too high.

I subscribed to Angies List and obtained several estimates before I decided to hire House Painting Inc to paint my house, garage, and covered patio. James Lee was very professional, provided me with lists of references, certificates of insurance and licensing, etc. - provided all materials. The two men who completed the work were outstanding- and did an excellent job. They also do so many extra things for me that needed attention. My house looks beautiful and I would certainly recommend House Painting Inc to my friends. This was a very positive experience for me.

A team of three did an excellent job!  They were very detail oriented, spent two full days preparing the surface of the wall, very professional, accommodating and efficient.  The finishing job was very satisfactory and impressive, even by the neighbors who gave favorable comments and asked for company's contact information.  As mentioned to the owner Mr. Lee, I am glad to have found a quality painter who achieved what was promised.  Truly a job well done!!

James Lee was very professional and maintained proactive communication.  His painters arrived as scheduled and the job was completed very efficiently.  Plants and patio were protected from paint and any damage.
My only recommendation is that Mr. Lee invest in an English as a second language class for his lead painter.  I couldn't understand him and he couldn't understand me.  He had very limited grasp of the English language.

Work was prompt and well done.

Came on time and worked efficiently despite some inclement weather. Excellent work done and left a clean work site. I have recommended them on several occasions.
