It was a good experience. I was satisfied with the job. They are a local company and I had seen their signs around town. I would use them again.

In my opinion the owner of this company (Gary  Zuzow) is the most
unethical dishonest person I have ever dealt with.  All I can say is
Beware!  I was not the only person who had problems with him.  His
business appears to have a long history of disputes with other people.  I
wish I had checked his litigation history out prior to hiring him. 
This was the worst contractor experience of my life!

I spent time at the beginning telling Gary Zuzow exactly what I wanted-- 1-gal. white blossom plants, showed him pictures and thought we were understanding each other. He came back with 5 gal. unhealthy looking plants that he wanted me to accept. The large plants- one was an ordinary pink geranium he was going to charge me $40 for. These weren't what we talked about. I told him again that I wanted white flowers. When I realized that his knowledge of plants was very limited, I told him I wanted to suspend the project and just finish up groundcovers and bushes. He was very angry with me because I didn't just let him go and pick out his ideas for the plants. After they left, I found amazing groundcover, flowers, shrubs in all colors of green and all with white flowers. I planted them and they look amazing-- so relaxing! Don't let Foothill Landscaping ruin your special outdoor space.
