Agreement was to fill and pack the sunken area, then lay new sod.
They laid the sod at high noon.  I noted the dry edges, but attempted to save the sod by soaking.  As soon as it was wet, area that was supposed to have been filled and packed sank in.  Obviously, they did not fill and pack as agreed.
Basically I paid for a truckload of dried up sod that didn't take.

They installed a beautiful pond and waterfall feature for us. He had to demolish an existing pond. He had to do a substantial amount of planting. I would use him again in the future.

I am terribly disappointed. I never got a response despite multiple e-mails and telephone calls. Even if they weren't interested in the job or couldn't do it for some reason, they should contact me to let me know. I still haven't heard anything.

Prompt/knowledgeable at estimate. Asphalt removed quickly/painlessly. As construction process started I found that foreman didn't have all instructions I had given mike regarding design/care taken of existing sprinklers. So I felt uncomfortable during whole process as I needed to doublecheck work as a layperson. The job was completed in 2 weeks approx which was great! They put sprinkler and electrical pipes under the patios so I could connect them to my systems after the job was completed, which I did only to find they used improper white pvc for electrical when it should have been grey for safety. As pros they knew which pipe to use and chose not to. In addition they cut off the water supply to area of sprinklers which they were warned ahead of numerous times and had to come back to fix. Towards the end of the job I noticed that workers weren't paying as much attention and care using pieces for the retaining wall in the flagstone patio which were not same color.

Michael came out and gave me an estimate. He is very polite and helpful. I never saw the work crew but once they got started, they were done in only a few days with my 200 sq ft patio. The wait once I was ready to go was the only inconvenience, I had to schedule it 6-8 weeks out. But, it was worth the wait.
