Exacting care and considerable time were required to achieve necessary tolerances. The result was perfectly hung doors. The bid was based on a reasonable per hinge charge, so we were satisfied with the price for the work performed. Jeromie was very polite and personable as was his assistant. We would not hesitate to call him again for other jobs in our home.

excellent experience overall. Jeromie came by and we discussed, at length, exactly how the seat would look. Jeromie offered a lot of great ideas which we incorporated and resulting design was much improved over my original concept. A deposit was needed up front to order materials. Two weeks later, Jeromie arrived to install cabinetry. He estimated 3 days. It took a little longer. He painted, with a sprayer, on site. Work was done outside and he had to do a little cleaning of sidewalk for overspray (but was left nicely when all clean). Cabinet came out exactly as designed. Was minor paint problem on one of the doors, which Jeromie immediately took away and repainted so it would meet his standards. End result is awesome!

Overall things went extremely well! They did terrific work! They were very conscientious. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up each day too. It was evident that providing high quality work was important to them. Would certainly reommend them!

The results were excellent and in several areas Jeremy’s creative solutions to “problem” areas of the project were beyond my expectations. Jeremy is a true professional and is an obvious perfectionist. Several finishing touches he completed, of his own volition, were well beyond the scope of the project. I have more work for him to do and would strongly recommend his services.

I just finished a conversation with Jeromie the owner of the company. We discussed a pantry project during the course of which I told him I was gathering bids from 3 people, as this is the process I often go through to obtain a fair and competitive price. As soon as I told him I was gathering bids he told me that it wasn't worth his time and money to submit a price. He said "Well being that I'm in Irvine and your in Orange, I don't think its worth my time and my money to bid your job. You don't know my work." First of all, Irvine is approximately 6 miles away from my home and he was actually the closest contractor to return my call. Secondly, I can only guess that by the second comment he meant that he was going to be much better than the other contractors that were to bid the job. In my opinion he was very rude and extremely unprofessional. I don't think that bringing in other contractors is an uncommon practice and I consider it to be the most intelligent way to go about obtaining a fair bid, not necessarily the lowest. My husband has been a mechanical contractor/project manager for 30 years and happened to be sitting next to me during our conversation. He was shocked at this mans conduct. Oh, and did I mention that I am a first time Angie's List user, I told him that and he still proceeded to treat the transaction in this manner. I went to the website to find reviews so that I could make the best choice when choosing a carpenter. I was pleased when I found several with great reviews and that is what I based my decision on so when this man called me back and treated the business transaction in this manner I was very surprised. He may be good but I think he thinks a bit much of himself.

They did a good job as far as the insulation. They were professional. The part that was not good was that, he had to sub contract some parts to other people. We had a bunch of people do the job, they started the job and half way through the work they didn't know what they were doing. The work was kind of dragged on. We ended up having paid them more than what it was originally agreed to. They left us unhappy in the middle. The price was originally good but when they finished the job it went up.

Fine. He was clean, efficient and worked around our patient schedule.

Communication was excellent. He was on time and worked without delays. Every bit of this work was fantastic. I strongly recommend his services. I will be calling again for more service! Hooray, I finally found a finish carpenter that I can trust to do top-shelf work!

Start to finish they were excellent. One of the best contractors I've ever dealt with. Beautiful custom woodworking - cabinetry, mantle, mirror, pony wall cap. They are all incredibly detail-oriented and very easy to work with. I had some big things and a lot of little things that needed to be done - including fixing a number of mistakes from other contractors and my "do-it-yourself" adventures. They took care of all of it and it all turned out beautiful.

Jeremy had given me a bid with exact detais of the job and had arranged for the finisher Brett to do the job. Brett came to the property twice to view the job and work out the details. We then set a time and date to start the project. Brett never showed up or never called. I then spoke to Jeremy who said that they could now not complete the job for the price that was quoted. They also said they could not accomodate my request to keep the dust to a minimum and out of the house. Is that really an unreasonable request? They wasted 2 weeks of my time and should not have agreed to the job from the start. They have high ratings on Angie's List but was highly dissapointed and would not reccomend them to anyone!

I called Jeromie mid-morning on a monday and explained what i needed. I had taken the day off from work to do some other projects around the house and he was very responsive and said it could do it that afternoon. He arrived as promised and he had another guy with him to help. He gave a reasonable bid and I had him go ahead and get started. He was very personalable and professional and completed the work to my satisfaction, and in fact, helped me out with a couple other projects i was working while he was there. I would recommend and call him again if i needed any additional carpentry work.

Jeromy came out and gave us and estimate and measured the kitchen thoroughly. Arrived a bit later than appointment the first day but after he came the experience was uphill from there. The bid was reasonable I think, (as I have never had a bench done before) I was a bit unsure of how the cabinet would turn out. He called to give me an install date a few days earlier than I expected, which I was very happy about. When the cabinets came, I was really happy with it but was a bit bummed to find out that painting had to be done on site and not at his shop. Jeromy and his painter Julio explained why the process had to be done this way, now I know. The installation took only about one hour but painting took the rest of the day. It turned out beautifully. Above and beyond my expectations. Julio the painter that works with Jeromy also was very nice and cleaned up after himself well. I strongly recommend Finishing touches and Jeromy for any cabinet and carpentry work. Paid for my Angie's list subscription with this one job.

I dropped the shutter off to get an estimate for the repairs. He quickly contacted me back and gave me an acceptable estimate. I had him start the work and had a completely rebuilt shutter back in less than 1 week. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the expert manner in which this company worked with me from start to finish.

We didn't have a big job, but Jeremy treated us like we were. He was very professional, did great work. We will definately use him for more work in the future and refer him to friends. The quality of the work was top notch. He had great ideas. His people were very easy to work with.

Very efficient and responded right away to do the work. The work is fine, but the door is not flush.

He referred us directly to his painter Enrique who did a great job, very professional looking results. They missed the baseboards in one small room but overall no problems and good quality work

The overall quality of the job was excellent. We are very pleased with the work. I would hire Jeromie again.

Base board s installation was good. His crew for paint job was high skilled. His estimate is fair. The work was done to our satisfaction. Will we make a recommendation? Yes! Our suggestion would be that Jeromie provides customer with an itemized worksheet that estimates the works to be performed and the cost; and to indicate that if additional work is to be done that an estimate cost should be made at that time.

He was on time and the estimate was good. The work took a couple of days. It's nice to find a person who takes pride and enjoy what he is going. The work blow my wife and me away. the moulding has tight fitting corner and the paint job was a super job.

The installers always arrived on time, were easy to deal with, very knowledgeable, and neat. Would hire Jeromie and his crew any time. Highly recommended. All of the work took only 2-3 days. Jeromie recommended an excellent painter to complete the project. The painter was experienced in painting moldings (spraying). The finished look of the rooms is beautiful. Many compliments have been received. A totally new atmosphere to a 30-year-old home.

They were a pleasure to work with & their price was very competitive. Jeromie (the owner) & Tom completed the entire job in approximately 2 hours. They arrived on time & they were very polite & friendly. They were very professional & cleaned up thoroughly. I'll definitely hire them again.
