Description of Work: Installed new water heater 50 gallon size. Had to repipe what was there as it had not been updated since the late 90's. Excellent work and there was definitely no break period for him. Just realize they charge $98 per hour for labor.

Description of Work: They did a variety of things like insulating a pipe on my roof, moving my water softener, etc. The most important thing involved with this work was that the main line from the street to the BACK of my house broke in the process. (Don't get alarmed, I just knew that it would.) It was installed in 1969 and was made of "plastic" of the day. This material is not made anymore (for a reason). What makes them so special is that they did everything necessary to install a new line at a very reasonable cost! This could have ended up being a disaster but I was very happy when it was done. They even let me use my gardener to dig and then back fill the ditch which saved big time.

Description of Work: I selected Valley Plumbing from Angie's List based upon their excellent review and close provimity to my home. They arrived at my house within one hour of my call. The serviceman was clean and polite. The issue was a clogged kitchen sink drain. The serviceman disassembled the drain pipes beneath the sink, cleaned all parts and ran a snake through the plumbing system to ensure all obstructions were removed. After his worke was complete, he tested the drain for proper operation and cleaned the area around where he had worked.

Description of Work: It was just fine. Reset toilet and replaced water heater. At this time quality of work seems fine. Tech was less than personable, kept his ear buds in the whole time and asking questions seemed to be frowned upon.

Description of Work: Main line to water main was leaking due to palm tree roots pressing on it. Called Valley Plumbing and they were able to have Pete come out in a bit over an hour. He had to dig down to the pipe, get a pipe diameter of the right size and then do the actual repair. Three hous from start to finish - he did a great job.

+ -1 moreThey are very good. They have done a lot of plumbing work for me. The pipe under the sink was leaking. So, they installed a new pipe, but it was leaking too. So, they came out and replaced that one. The first installation was about $100 and the second installation was free. They are really great. They are very professional. I will continue to use this company again in the future.

+ 0 moreIn midst of preparing for company late Sat afternoon my kitchen disposal broke, & drain appeared clogged. My husband and son tried to fix the problem which lead to drain water gushing from under the sink.This was an emergency problem. We called Valley Plumbing which you had recommended previously. They were good at that time and they were terrific this time. The plumber, Benjamin, was prompt. He examined the the situation and realized we needed a new disposal.. He was prepared!!! He had a new disposal in the truck. He replaced the disposal and cleaned up the mess as our company was arriving. Labor cost was high because it was the weekend but his professionalism and care was exceptional. We highly recommend Benjamin and Valley Plumbing here in La Quinta CA.
Description of Work: Plumber replaced cracked/broken kitchen disposal; corrected water lines and pipes under the sink; mopped up water mess under sink and kitchen floor. The workmanship was excellent. Overall experiene was excellent [A]. Price was high, but fair considering it was a weekend[C]. Quality was [A]. Responsiveness [A]. Puntuality [A]. Professionalism [A]. I will use this company and ask for Benjamin again!!!

+ -1 moreIf it runs water, they have touched it in the past twenty years in my home. They have done so much for me in the past that would have been impossible for me to do. I especially like that there is no extra charge for Sundays, evenings or emergency calls. Other companies would charge you an arm and a leg for that.
Description of Work: They cleared clogged sinks, used a snake in sewer line to get rid of tree roots, installed some new plumbing fixtures and did re-piping for kitchen.
