The estimator arrived as scheduled, The quote was emailed and lacked necessary information, so I had to ask for it several times. In the end, I decided not to do the job now. I've had Stephens do other work for me though and it was always done professionally and on time.

Stephens Plumbing replaced all the duct-work, the gas heater, and the air conditioner. It took a couple of tries to get everything needed listed on the quote and contract, but installation was efficient. It took two hours for an asbestos abatement company hired by Stephens to remove the old duct-work. It took most of 3 days to replace all the duct-work in a pretty skinny attic; replace the heater and coils; and replace the air conditioner. At all times, carpet and ceiling were protected from stains. The installers were prompt, polite and professional. After installation,they stayed to instruct me in the operation of the new thermostat and pump as well.

Williams showed up on time and spent most of the day replacing the unit. His work was excellent as he made the installation of the new unit up to code and cleaner looking. He left the work site clean and explained how the system works. Very professional. We anticipate having more work done by this company.

The first plumber I called (not Stephens) had a policy of "replace only" for water heaters over 8 years old. Given that a new water heater would cost at least $1000, I wanted to consider repairing -- which Stephens Plumbing was happy to do. As it turned out, my old water heater was in poor shape so I decided on replacement. Victor of Stephens Plumbing had come prepared with a new water heater in his truck and was able to do the job on the spot. He replaced my 40-gallon with a 50-gallon heater -- no fuss, no mess, and it works perfectly!

The work was performed in a very professional manner. The various portions of the work was performed by Jose, Cory, Manny and Williams. I have been using Stephens Plumbing and Heating for over 20 years and would never consider any other company and have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and their fair pricing. Jose from Stephens Plumbing was prompt and professional, and we appreciate his ongoing service as we resolve an issue with our main sewer line. We noticed that our lawn was very saturated and could smell sewage gas so we contacted Stephens plumbing the morning of 10/11/16. I spoke to a dispatcher who scheduled the service visit later in the week. To my surprise, I received an immediate call back from Jose, a service technician, who asked for more information and discuss the situation. Jose offered to stop by that very day to inspect the issue. Jose arrived promptly at our agreed timeframe, and walked me through his plan to inspect the line. Each step of the way, Jose took time to explain what he was doing and observing. Using a camera in the line, Jose discovered root blockage and a damaged pipe. He provided his professional opinion on next steps to resolution. And we are currently coordinating pipe cleaning and repair. I really appreciate Jose's responsiveness and level of communication. Thank you.

Both services went very well. The dispatcher phones to tell us a service tech is on the way. They show up on time, and should there be any unexpected delays, they phone to tell you they will be late. Everyone is very friendly and obviously committed to their work. They are well trained, do a good job, and we don't mind paying their fees. The fee listed below is the combined cost of both service calls.

They did a camera inspection to take a look at the clog that I had that was behind the clean out. They were the most competitive price. They ended up hydro jetting the clog and it cleared it right up. I would recommend them highly to anyone, because the do great work.

All of the technicians were very professional; obviously knowledgeable in their respective jobs; and did outstanding work. My heater guy was exceptional. it's an older house and there was difficulty trying to determine the cause, but he hung in there until he found it and it has worked perfectly since.

On Nov 2nd the company called and scheduled an appointment for the following day (it may have been the same day I'm not sure) to provide an estimate. Miguel arrived timely for the meeting and, after inspecting the plumbing issues, he said he would call me the following day with an estimate. I waited a week and did not receive a return call. Therefore, on Nov 9th I called the company and spoke to Jose. I told him about the situation. He requested my name and phone number and said he would call me back. I did not receive a return call. I'm particularly disappointed because I located the company on Angie's List and expected better.

Victor showed up early! He Removed & Replaced existing Whirlpool Hot Water Heater. Victor noted this brand of Water Heaters are not known for their longevity (Bought at LOWES about 8 to 9 years ago). Also, installed gas shut off value & replaced existing galvanized fitting that had corroded on hot water intake from house plumbing to Hot Water Heater. I did receive the 15% discount from using Angie's List. Wow< this was still expensive!!!!! )<:

It was mediocre. They seem like a nice company and I'm not sure that the technician they sent really knows how to deal with all their toilets. They said I really needed more work done and I knew that I would, so it wasn't a big surprise but the problem is that one of the toilets still was never done right and does not flush the way it's supposed to flush.
