BLACKMORE SIGNS & DESIGNS

The provider told my room parent when he needed payment. My room parent paid the provider the full amount on the date specified by the provider and was assured that he had plenty of time to complete the T-Shirts by May 22nd, the day prior to our school field trip. My room parent called numerous times to ask on the progress of the shirts and was advised each time that they were on schedule and would be ready for pick-up. Two days prior to the trip, my room parent was assured they would be ready on the 22nd. On the 22nd, my room parent was unable to get an answer from the provider as to whether or not they were ready so she went to Blackmore Signs and waited in the parking lot for the provider to come out. He went out another exit and my room parent saw him driving off without giving her any T-Shirts and he would not return any more phone calls. The bottom line is that we had no T-Shirts on the 23rd when the children went to the zoo. Parents were furious and some wanted their money refunded, which was not possible. The provider finally spoke to my room mom and eventually produced the shirts the next week, when they were passed out belatedly to the kindergartners. We would NEVER use this provider again under any circumstances, even though the shirts produced were very cute. He repeatedly promised to do things that he did not do and the children were so disappointed.

Mike is a very nice and likable guy. I placed my sign order and paid the invoice in full up front (my first mistake). The quality of the work was excellent and Mike even fixed a couple of signs that I had submitted with an incorrect phone number. The problem came when I canceled a sandwich board that was not yet made and asked for additional signs instead. Mike said no problem..... over the next month I called and stopped by to pick up the signs no less that 8 times. Every call or visit, I was warmly greeted and promptly apologized to for not having the final signs ready. Mike even promised to deliver them to my office (twice) when they were done.....I'm still waiting. I sent Mike an email requesting a refund on my unused balance and I'm still waiting. If you use Blackmore signs, don't pay for the product until you pick it up!
