Sales Manager came over. Gave us info. We asked questions. Made our decision (we had consulted with several companies) to go with Sungate. Made appointment for final plans to have Architectural Review done / approval. Set in motion for installation to begin. Everything was installed in 1 day.  Completion went well. Workers cleaned up.
Hook up completed. Awaited for City Approval - completed no issues. Awaited PGE Approval - no issues. All turned on - ready to go. Everything went smoothly.
Branch Manager: Andy Tse has been there to answer any an all questions
Huey Hubris: Production Manager was exceptionally helpful in setting up the preparation to get this going. He went out of his way to be helpful and answered any question that I had. I would and have recommended him and this company to my friends and neighbors (and anyone who asks about Solar).

We're quite happy with the speed and quality of their installation.  They started the project about a week earlier than they originally thought they'd be able to, had all the materials they needed, and didn't bother us at all while they did the work.  They answered all our questions and set us up for on-line monitoring.  We couldn't be happier with their service.

The company rep called to offer me a free energy audit.  I want to replace windows in my house so I set up an appointment for May 31st.  On May 30th she called to tell me they were overbooked for that time and would like to come on June 1st.  I explained I couldn't get off work that easily and they would need to call me later in the week.  I asked her if they were a local company and she said they were;.  However, she did not have a local address or telephone number to give to me.  On June 1 they arrived at my house, I was still working since I had not set up an appointment and they called and left me an irate message.  The man was upset with me because I had scheduled an appointment (I had not) and I wasn't there.  On Thursday, the man called back again and asked why I wasn't there when they came to my house. I explained that I had not set up that appointment.  The man wanted to know when I would be home so they could come.  I told him I did not want to work with a company that was angry with me while they were still trying to sell their product.  The man started doing a hard sell with me on their windows again but I told him I was not interested. I asked him if they were local and he said, Yes, he was from California but they had a local Phoenix office. He did not have the address.   At that point I had had 4 telephone calls/messages with the company and they were all unsatisfactory ,or pushy and rude, except for the initial telephone call.  On Saturday of that week, June 4th, a woman representative called me from the company and stated the week's event from their view and that they still wanted to sell me windows.  I again explained that I would not hire a company that (1) overbooks on the initial sell and don't show up, indicating they would probably overbook at other times and would be unreliable at completing a project, (2) has representatives who talk angrily on the telephone to prospective customers before they even have sold you their product (3) and I questioned if they were a local company since the telephone calls from management were always from California. 
She told me they did have a local source, but when I asked her for the telephone number or address, she put me on hold for five minutes while she went to find it.  When she came back and gave me the address, I didn't get the feeling that they really were long term in Phoenix.  The address was not in Phoenix either, it was in Tempe.  I told the woman rep that I was not comfortable with their company and would not do business with a company that represented itself so poorly.  I suggested they train their initial contact people better.  The woman became upset and told me that it was obvious I was just having a bad day.  I told her I wasn't having a bad day, at least not before I talked with her.

They arranged for the inspectors to come out and they took care of everything. It went great and they were awesome. They were on time and efficient. They let us know everything they were doing. They were really responsive.

Estimators were prompt and extremely polite and professional in their presentation. The product to be installed and it's features were well described. However, the pricing approach was like that of an cut throat "nickel and dime" auto dealer. The representative who came gave a "best" price with a discount for giving referrals and allowing a sign to be placed on our property plus a 2nd larger discount for immediate sign-up before the rep left. The least price was $66,000 for the eight glass doors and nine windows. After being turned down, the company called with a story that they would like to give us a lower price bid from their currently under-worked commercial division the next day. They came and gave a 16% lower price or a 24% lower price without the feature of "self cleaning glass". When that was declined, they offered to do the doors without the windows for 45% of the initial bid. Finally they dropped the "doors only" price to 30% of the initial "best price".

We had acrylic paint applied to our home, this paint is supposed to outlast all other paints and we have no complaints about the paint job itself, but we had some other stucco work done that wasn t so good. I like the work they did on my house, but I found that they had made a mistake and tried to put my credit card through twice, and this definitely deterred me from recommending them or using them even though it was corrected.

My experience with this company was not the greatest. One of the windows that they replaced was damaged and the company would not repair it. They wouldn't call me back at all. They sub-contracted work to another installer. This company has been sued by other people in the past.
