This is the first time I've written a review at Angi, which tells how bad the service has been. I would give 0 stars if possible. After describing a problem with my washing machine to the service rep., the company sent out a repairman without sending the needed part. He took apart my washing machine, left with the bad pump and a check covering his visit, and never returned. I've called 8 times to find out when the job will be finished, but there is never an answer at their number, and they've never called back. I'm out the money, out the pump, and incredible frustrated. Time to go after them in court, I suppose.

I purchased an extended guaranty when I purchased a dishwasher. I called the number provided by Airport Appliances and requested a service to fix my washing machine the lady took all my information and set up an appointment for 11/10/20 also gave me a couple of local phone numbers to call in case they were not coming to the appointment. the technician came and told me that he had to order a part that was going to take a week , second week passed by and I didn’t hear from them then I Texted them since that’s the only way of communication with this company, next day I got a Tex message saying that the shipment it was coming on 11/24/20, again I did not hear from this people and sent another message this time they told me that there was a discrepancy with the manufacturer shipment and did know when they were going to receive the shipment . I sent a tex mess and expressed my dissatisfaction because it was taking so long to fix my washing machine , that was the last time I head from them they decided to ignore my tex messages. . I visited Airport Appliance and expressed my dissatisfaction with the extended guarantee they have sold me. And indeed they followed it up and on 12/30/20 the technician showed up and told me that they didn’t have the correct phone # which was such a lie then the Washing machine had water in it and it looked that he didn’t know how to empty it out and he called his supervisor Liza she told him that machine has to be empty and told the technician to go to his next appointment I told the guy you better be kidding I have been waiting all this time I said I will empty it out ad he replied no I’m not going to fix it make another appointment and he left, it took me less that five minutes to empty the machine. . I asked him that I needed to speak to his. supervisor and he gave me a business card that’s how I found out that I was dealing with Appliance Repair Heroes , this company is irresponsible ,unprofessional, dishonest , I don’t understand how they still on business. I no longer trust them I don’t want to deal with them they should be ashamed of themselves . Inssuranse they sold me

Terrible. Told me they would order a part for a Liebherr refrigerator then call to schedule. No call. I had to call them six times to get them to schedule a service appointment, for more than a month after the first contact. The service tech was supposed to hit a morning service window. He failed to show. Then they said two different time windows in the same afternoon, then he failed to show up for those, too, and they failed to return calls or email thereafter. I never got the work done after waiting more than a month. Awful. Terrible. Don't use them. I would never, never use them again.

The first scheduled appointment failed due to the repairman calling out sick. The next 3 were no-shows, however, the company claimed that there was no one home at the time. When we finally got a repairman present, they had to order a part to fix the unit, which took 2 weeks! Today was the same story - repairman claims they attempted to make contact and ring the doorbell, but no one showed up. I would not recommend this company to any home or business. No respect for time, and such a disregard for service.

They asked for extra money for the instal even thou I had already paid Lowes for ALL the installation fees. Yes, I could have refused service, but at this point they had already made me wait 2 weeks for the product and I didn't want to wait any longer. But their lack of professionalism didn't stop there. As they were leaving, I decided to open the dishwasher and notice it wasn't even attached to the sink. They came back and worked on it for another 30 minutes. Long story short, after two days of installation, the dishwasher is not working and has to be replaced.

Lowe's hired this company to install the dishwasher. Lowe's said they usually do a great job.  Paid $129 for the install, which stretched out over 3 solid weeks.
Appliance Repair Heroes insisted on site inspection which seemed like a good idea.
First round that was only inspection:  missed the fact that the dishwasher was hardwired (no plug to outlet). Upon return for install, the installation technician figured this out within 3 minutes.
Missed seeing the existing outlet entirely.  Required that I have an outlet installed by an outside electrician.  Correctly identified the fact that the water valve handle was stuck but made no attempt to correct it.  After they left, two valves began leaking.  Had to call in a plumber to unstick the valve (additional expense) and fix the plumbing leaks.
Second round:  Identified issue with existing outlet that could have been identified the first time.  (but they were correct) The entire outlet was dependent on a switch for the garbage disposal being on.  Had to be corrected with an outside electrician at great expense.
Third round:  installed the dishwasher correctly with no additional technical problems, then ran a test cycle with the paperwork (manual, model # pages, etc.) INSIDE the dishwasher.  All soaked!
$500 later (installation costs only), I have a functional dishwasher.
Lowe's is replacing the paperwork.

I called to get my Gas Grill repaired.
Made an appointment for Thursday, October 17th.
They took extensive details about the product and asked some diagnostic questions. I was really quite hopeful.
Since they gave me a 12n-5p appointment window I took 1/2 a day off of work to be there for them.
They never showed and never called. So, at 5P I called them. Too bad, they said, the technician was tied up on a much longer than planned appointment. I protested asking why they hadn't even called and explained that I'd lost 1/2 day of work/pay.
So sorry...they said.... For you we will make an exception and although we don't usually work on weekends we will have a technician at your home between 8A and 10A on Saturday.
OK....so it appeared they were making amends and I was, once again, hopeful.
In order to be ready, I woke my wife early (she's a nurse and works long hours) made sure our dogs were contained and waited...and waited and finally I called them at 10A.
The answering system answered, "Sorry but our offices are closed".
No one called, no one came and once again, they proved to be completely unreliable and unprofessional.

The ice maker in our 3 year old Liebherr refrigerator stopped working. Their service network is sparse - only two appliance repair shops to serve the entire San Francisco Bay area. The shop was good about setting an initial appointment, and Joe arrived within the 2 hour time range they gave. Although he was a nice guy, I got the impression that this wasn't a model he worked on a lot, so it took him some extra time to remove the ice maker. It was clear which part had broken, so he put everything back together and said he would put the part on order. I didn't hear back for about a week so I called for a status update and asked them to order the part. I left on vacation for 10 days and when I returned I called to schedule a return visit to install the new part. They were a bit backlogged and scheduled me for the following week. Joe again arrived on time with the part. He said that rather than order an entirely new unit they had ordered a kit, which he thought would save me some money. Unfortunately, disassembling the old unit proved difficult and required a long call in to the shop for help. In the end, whatever savings might have been gained by ordering the kit was largely eaten up by extra labor charges. When it came time to pay, I saw I was being charged $275 for a complete new icemaker, rather than $95 for the kit. It took Joe 3 calls back to the office to finally convince them that he had not installed a new complete unit. Had I not been persistent they would have charged me the higher price. As it was, I was charged $120 in extra labor because of the long assembly time. In hindsight it would have been better to get an entirely new unit, which would have taken 5 minutes to install. I don't blame Joe, and he was apologetic, but I was pretty annoyed that I had to work so hard not to be overcharged. I just hope that the problem is actually fixed. I won't know until the first batch of ice is made.
