We loved them.  They are design people so we recommended it to a friend and she had her bathroom and kitchen redone by them.  They are wonderful and it is not just Home Depot but just hands on who they use.  We have good friends who use their design people and remodel and everybody loves them.  They contract out and a contractor does it but we personally speak with Home Depot if there is a problem with question, ordering or designing and all that kind of stuff.  Home Depot is the front man and they use a particular contractor.  You need to try them out and it is excellent to use.  If there is any problem you go directly to your design person at Home Depot and say they have knocked out a wall.  All your cares are taking care of by doing it that way.  The price was $15000 because it was 6*8 bathroom and we actually had the shower drain moved and the sewage line moved.  So the waste line had to be moved under the house and it was a total teardown and we had the door widened also for our old age days which are very far in the future.  It is an old house and the door is 24” wide and we couldn’t get through with anything so we had a bigger door put in and it was a really major construction.  We are happier we did it as we had an experience with my mother and aunt and they couldn’t get through the doors with their little walkers.  There was construction and major plumbing done and basic tile and stuff like that.  We really recommend them to our friends else you will lose your friend and she did a total kitchen and bathroom redo after she had seen what we had done.

The service was fine; I had no problem. I went early in the morning and it was easy to rent the truck.

My realtor offered to replace our patio door during closing and contacted this Home Depot.  We picked out our door and our Realtor was quoted a price for the door and install.  We were told that due to the measurements, the door would need be custom made which doubled the price for the door and installation.  However it was about 3 weeks before we found this out after numerous calls to the store which were never returned and countless emails through MyInstall to try and get a status.  So a month later, someone finally gets back to me to tell me that everything is doubled.
Needless to say, I'm not going to contract work with people he can't even return a simple phone call as requested.  Our Realtor had to physically go down to the store and wrestle this information for the people in the department.  I have decided to take my business and $$ elsewhere.

Home Depot: Hawthorne, California #620 HOME DEPOT delivered about 90%: replacing my 1951 windows with new Simonton windows. They are a 100% Improvement. The two gentlemen contractors did a fantastic job. I can't say enough for their work. The work was done by CONTRACTORS to my dismay. HOME DEPOT sales lady Patti Nurenberg and project manager Rita Mendoza both told me during my inquiry who would do the work that the work would be done by HOME DEPOT employees. They said HOME DEPOT had bought out the the contractors and they were now employees. The work was completed and during discussions with the workers, they said they were independent contractors, they didn't work for Home Depot. Rita Mendoza - when asked about this - said I was happy with the work so what did it matter. I am happy with the work by the men who did the work. I will never hire Home Depot for other work because they misrepresent themselves and when asked about the misrepresentation don't acknowledge the problem. Mike W.

The sales people were helpful and knowledgeable about the appliances. They made suggestions and helped us make choices. The delivery was right on the time and date they said it would be.

I am so pleased that I am getting ready to call and have them do some more work for us very soon. They were great. There were no problems at all. The work was completed in a great amount of time and the price was right.

The installers from Home Depot arrived right on time with the quality windows we had chosen. The men were pleasant and completed their work in a timely fashion. The installation and everything since has gone perfectly. It has been awhile so I do not recall the price but it was average for our area.

THEY'RE VERY GOOD. I LIKE HOME DEPOT. I GO THERE ALL THE TIME. IT'S CLOSE BY, AND THEY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THE PEOPLE THERE ARE ALL GOOD AND SEEM TO KNOW THEIR BUSINESS.

THEY'RE EXCELLENT. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR HOME DEPOT. IT WAS DELIVERED IN THE TIME PERIOD GIVEN. ONCE THE TIME WAS SET, THE CONTRACTOR CAME AND INSTALLED THE DOOR. I LIKED THE PRODUCT, TOO. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT PRODUCT. THAT'S PART OF THE REASON WHY I RATE THEM HIGHLY.

IT WAS EXCELLENT. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HOME DEPOT. IT WAS FINE. THEY INSTALLED IT. THE DOOR WORKS. IT WAS ONE GUY. IT TOOK THEM A COUPLE OF HOURS I GUESS. HE SEEMED TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, AND THAT'S WHAT HE DID. EVERYTHING WORKED OUT.

I THINK AS FAR AS THE INSTALLATION. WE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEM COMING IN WITH THE RIGHT PARTS AND WE DID GET THE KEY FOR THE LOCK ON THE DOOR. EVERYTHING IS IN NOW SO IT ALL WORKED OUT OK.

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE NICE AND COURTEOUS AND THEY TOOK EVERYTHING. I DIDN'T LOSE ANYTHING. THERE WERE NO CROOKS IN THE HOUSE. THE PEOPLE WERE HONEST. BASICALLY IT WAS ALL OKAY.

FOR THE MOST PART, HOME DEPOT DOES A GOOD JOB. THE STAFF IS PRETTY HELPFUL. THEY ARE EASILY ACCESSIBLE. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE USED HIRED LABOR FROM THEM AND THEY WERE A VERY PROFESSIONAL GROUP. THEY WERE GOOD.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY CAME ON TIME. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY. THEY DIDN'T MAKE A MESS, AND THEY DIDN'T BOTHER US. THERE WAS NO UPPING THE PRICE, NO EXTRAS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY WERE CLEAN. THEY DID THE JOB IN THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT. THE DOORS LOOK GREAT, AND THEY WORKED. THEY WERE JUST GREAT. THEY DIDN'T MAKE A HUGE MESS. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO COME BACK ANOTHER DAY. THERE WERE NO HUGE CONTRACTING NIGHTMARES. THE DOORS ARE JUST GREAT.

THEY WERE HERE ON TIME. THEY DID THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY WERE POLITE. WELL, WE HAVEN'T HAD ANYTHING COME UP YET SO I WOULD SAY IT IS EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK.

THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL, AND THE YOUNG LADY WHO HELPED ME CHOOSE THE CARPETING WAS VERY DILIGENT AND STAYED WITH ME UNTIL I MADE THE DECISION. THE MEN THAT LAID THE CARPET WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND WORKED DILIGENTLY. THEY GOT RIGHT TO THE WORK AND GOT THE JOB DONE RIGHT AWAY. THEY DIDN'T CHITTER CHAT AND WANTED TO GET THE JOB DONE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS GOOD. IT WAS THE SAME WAY WITH THE LINOLEUM.

INSTALLING THE LINOLEUM WENT FINE. THE WOOD LAMINATE FLOORING PROJECT WAS A DISASTER. THE INITIAL ESTIMATE WAS $1,900. THEN, THERE WAS A SUPPLEMENTAL INVOICE OF $1,200, THEN ANOTHER FOR $1,100 BEFORE THE PROJECT WAS ABANDONED. VERY POOR DISCLOSURE OF POTENTIAL COSTS WHEN WORK WAS ORIGINALLY CONTRACTED. ON THE PLUS SIDE, HOME DEPOT WAS ACCOMMODATING IN THAT THEY REFUNDED ALL MONIES I HAD PAID.
