Owner sent out a very pleasant employee, hourly charge, but did the job quickly with no wasted time. Could have easily run up the bill, but completed in one hour and fifteen minutes. Repaired all the damaged ducts, system works well now, house much warmer.

I chose Brown Cat HVAC out of Larkspur for my air conditioner installation as they also did my heating. However, the contractor went AWOL when 80-90% of the work was done. Personal problems as far as I know. Bottom line, Allen was the only one I called that was willing to come and finish the work that somebody else did, which I'm extremely grateful for. Allen was also very straight in terms of the state of the previous work. I was also impressed by his environmental comments regarding the unit I had and why I should change it down the road. Their work was flawless.

I really liked them because they were professional and did very good work. They're union people. I also got all of my energy efficient rebates back from them. The price is a close estimate.

Fine. Done by telephone, never saw the guy. The cost was below the estimate. I paid later over phone by credit card. In other words, on trust. Result is that it works OK now.

FABULOUS! I called at 8 am in the morning and by 8:20 am they showed up! It was only a small issue (part of the water pump was "askew" from a different contractor for construction project knocking into it) - AND I was told and showed SPECIFICALLY what had happened. When I asked if I needed a new one - I was told NO - but just to keep an eye on it - as he did not want me to spend money if not needed. THE best service I have had in a LONG TIME. I did buy my furnace from them in 2000 - and they have ALWAYS been extremely responsive and FAIR!

It went very well. The estimate was good, to begin with. Jim told us in detail what we needed as well as what we didn't need. He suggested the furnace that was best for our home, and installed it quickly and properly. It works fine.

Disappointing.

I contracted Allan Heating to put in a new central air conditioning system. They were on time and did a very good job. They finished the job for exactly what they quoted. We had a wonderful overall experience and our system is still running strong.
