Description of Work: They came out because our washing machine wasn't working. They came out more than once. They suggested replacing the drain pump which we did but it didn't work. The second person that came out said it was the control board which we replaced. The washing machine still didn't work. The second person that came out was their Samsung expert. Washing machine is still not working.

 + -1 moreWe found Igor through our home warranty company, Fidelity, but we would use his services whether or not our warranty covered them simply because he is unlike anyone else. Igor is completely thorough, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to the plight of the homeowner. He understands that we are not looking for quick fixes or half measures. He also never likes to see us pay for something we should not. Our appliances came new with the house we purchased but they are all from Italy and are obscure to most repairmen. What little paperwork and instructions we have are in Italian and all the replacement parts are foreign. When fixing the range hood, Igor made sure that he sourced the computer that operates it in Czechoslovakia and what parts he could here in the states so that it was fixed properly. When he determined that our refrigerator was in need not of repair but of replacement, he personally spent time with our insurance company to explain the issue in depth. He will never pretend to be able to fix something that cannot be fixed just to satisfy insurance, and I know that he will continue to see each problem through to conclusion. As a result, though I have never written a recommendation for anyone else, I was inspired to write this one as Igor is a cut above the rest. I am sure you will be as happy to know him as we are.
Description of Work: Igor has come to service our built-in refrigerator, our dishwasher, and our range hood/fan over a period of two years. Problems have included a broken range fan, a dishwasher than was making the wood that encased it expand and not close properly, and a refrigerator with a significant compressor problem.

Description of Work: The dishes in my 10 year old GE dishwasher were not getting cleaned. I got serveral estimates for the repair. The estimates were so high that I was thinking of just buying a new one. Suprisingly Universal gave me an estimate for $150. Sergey arrived to repair my washer, and he was efficient, punctual and more importantly honest. The dishwasher is working perfectly now and I have saved myself a lot of money and grief thanks to Universal Applicance Service.
