The refrigerator side of our side by side quit refrigerating. Igor was the only repair service I called that could come out the next day to look at it. All the others were 3 to 4 days out. He came and determined that the circulating fan and timer that controls it was not working. He was very open about explaining how it worked and what he would do to fix it. He had to order parts, said they would be in on Saturday. He called me Friday to set an appoint for Saturday, came by and installed the new parts on Saturday. I will use him again if I need any other appliances repaired.

It went well. Work was done as promised, on time and for the amount originally quoted.

Igor is very pleasant and professional. I called him at 5:00 PM one day, and after getting some basic information from me, he asked if he could call me back once he got out of the freeway, to get all my information. 10 minutes later he called me, got my address and we scheduled an appointment for the following day. Next day, he arrived, and within 5 minutes after opening the microwave, he knew what the issue was. He went back to his truck and returned with the required part. Total time 15 minutes. Before he left, I remembered the microwave light was not working (stopped working 2 weeks after we bought it, 4 years ago). I asked him to look at it. It turned out to be that the light bulb was blown (of course), so he went back to his truck (again), but this time came empty handed. He asked me if I had internet connection, so I connected with my laptop, and he directed me to the Sears parts website. After we found the part, he said I could either order the part and install it myself (he would show me how to), or he could order it for me, and come back to install it once he had it. All for the price of the part (shown on Sears website) + $20 for the trouble. He was so nice and honest, that I didn't mind giving him the extra money. He charged me for services rendered and said he would collect the balance once he finished the job. 5 days later, he came to install the light bulb, and left me one happy customer. I would definitely call him again and recommend to everyone.

Although I called on a Saturday, Igor made an appointment to come out on Sunday a.m. He asked on the initial call whether I found him through Angie's List and when I said yes he told me I would be getting a first time discount. He showed up on time and diagnosed the problem very quickly. The wine fridge had to be emptied and the shelves had to be removed in order to replace the thermostat and related parts. He quickly helped me empty the fridge and then removed the shelves (no small feat given how they are installed). All in all he was done within an hour. I really appreciate his responsiveness and his professionalism. I would definitely use him again.

The provider was extremely responsive by telephone, even though we called him on a Saturday. He made an appointment for the next day, came on time, diagnosed and repaired the drier. I couldn't have been more satisfied.

Excellent, I couldn't be more pleased. Igor was right on time, very friendly and knowledgable. Igor had asked for the model number when I called in so he had the necessary parts with him when he came out to look at my dryer. He replaced the parts and cleaned out all of the dust and lint. I had no idea how close the dryer was to catching fire so it was a really good thing he came out when he did. It works like a charm now. I will absolutely recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Igor is absolutely the best. Our appliances aren't the newest, but he was able to get the parts and get the job done when he said he would. He knows what's wrong and he knows how to fix it. His work is clean and he does a great job -- very professional. I would not even consider using anyone else! The BEST!

I was able to schedule an appointment within less than 24 hours of my call - even though it was nothing urgent. I was pleasantly surprised when the tech knocked on our door at exactly 11 am, even though we were given a window of 11-1. He was able to repair both appliances in less than an hour, even with my curious 2 year old practicing his new verbal skills out on our guest. Ease of scheduling, promptness, competence and professionalism - I honestly can not give this company enough stars or glowing reviews. I will definitely use them for any type of repair in the future.

After discovering that the gas dryer I had inherited from a previous tenant did not put out heat AND made a horrible noise, I started down the list of local Angie's List appliance repair companies looking for someone to come out on the same day. It was Saturday morning, and the first three places I called could not even do a service call until Monday. My next call was to Universal Appliance. Igor answered the phone, and not only made time to come out on the same day, he arrived within a couple of hours and on time. Within a few minutes he explained both problems and gave me an estimate. While not inexpensive, it was half the cost of buying a bottom-of-the-line new gas dryer, so I ok'd the repair. He took the whole machine apart and vacuumed out (probably years) worth of built up lint and debris, and shortened and reattached my too-long dryer vent tube, all before he took care of the noise. In other words, he provided a refurbishment of the machine that wasn't really a part of the problem, but will make the machine work a lot better and more safely-- all without any extra charge. A part was needed to get the heat working, and he gave me two estimates based on which part ended up being necessary for the repair. He came back on Monday as promised, and completed the repair in just a few minutes. It only required the less expensive part. He took a check after the first visit for partial payment, and then a check after the repair was completed for the balance. Overall, he was thorough, honest, detailed, punctual, and transparent. He also had the job completed by the time anyone else would have come for the initial consult. I'd definitely hire him again, anytime. Universal Appliance should be your first call!!!

Igor answered the phone himself when I called early in the morning, arranged to come out the same day. Arrived promptly. Because he was smart enough to ask for the dryer model number when I set up the appointment, he had the correct parts with him! No need for him to leave and come back the next day with parts. He was pleasant, courteous and professional. Worked quickly, cleaned up before he left. I would absolutely call on him again if anything else broke.

Called Igor to repair my home refrigerator. I chose him based solely on all the awesome AL reviews. Glad I did. I was able to vaguely explain what was wrong and he was able to diagnose the problem, right away, over the phone. Showed up on time, with the right parts. Was in and out in less then 30 minutes. Very professional and very nice. Would absolutely call him again for any appliance repair. I will be recommending him to any friends that need similar service.

I called Igor for installation of an outdoor grill. He was at my location within an hour. The grill installation involved masonry so he recommended a great person. Called and checked up on the work. Also problem with vent, quickly found issue ordered part fixed right away. He advised me on future appliance needs and just became a great friend. I have never met any company (person) that was so professional, knowledgeable, diligent, and caring.

We called Igor when our refrigerator stopped working during a recent heat wave. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and then looked for the underlying cause. Because of Igor's diligence, we are (hopefully) saved from future problems with this appliance. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs kitchen appliance maintenance.

Very happy with the work performed by Universal Applinace Service, owned by Igor Rozman. Igor called back immediately and scheduled a time the same day. Truthfully, I thought that this appliance would not be able to be repaired and I would have to replace. Was happy that at this time, I did not have to buy both a washer and dryer, as the space I have is only for a combo one piece unit. The workmanship was excellent and when I needed the machine to be moved out for some cleaning, Igor and Mark, the technican both came back to move the machine at no additional cost to help me out. I am now using Universal to replace a Mircowave that is attached to cabinets. Highly recommend Igor, Mark and Universal Appliance.

Our washer dryer broke down and Igor showed up same day and gave three different estimates depending on which part was needed. He rushed the parts and was able to fix the washer the following day. We were frustrated because it was very expensive to repair, but Igor gave us fair estimates based on the cost of the parts and gave us a discount on the labor. He was excellent.

Igor repaired a Kenmore gas dryer by replacing two thermostats and a coil. He also repaired a Whirlpool clothes washer by replacing the agitator dogs. He arrived as promised, was personable and easy to talk to, appeared knowledgeable and explained what was needed. I would use Igor for other appliance repair

Called and received same day appointment. Igor was prompt and had my dryer working in less than an hour. Also, vaccumed out & cleaned the inside of the unit & gave us free advice on further proper maintenance we could do ourselves. He was flexable with his rates and worked with my set budget and gave us the $20 discount for being an Angie's member. He was also very funny and playful and is bunny approved.

He came the next day, on time and informed. He told me what was wrong and how much it was going to cost.

B4 I called Universal, I called in the manufacturer's Sub Zero rep and they were very abrasive and did not leave me with anything in writing as to what was needed - simply said "call our office". I was told the work would be $1300 (without the light fixture)- note I paid $1054 for everything). I then went thru Angies List for a second opinion and found Igor. Igor was available to come immediately - confirmed what was wrong with the refrig and once I gave him the go ahead he called in the parts order right from my house. Igor took my credit card info at that point and told me he would not put any charges thru until the job was complete - well the refrig was back up and running in 2 days and the light fixture part took another week to arrive and Igor came to install and only than did he put thru the credit card. I might add that Igor is brilliant with appliance knowledge and a most personable guy!! I have already told all my friends that I found this GREAT appliance repairman - can't recommend him enough!

This is my second time using Angie's list and I am, once again, very pleased with my choice! Igor was amazing! I called and made arrangements for a service call the next morning. I already knew that i wanted to replace the rubber gasket on my washing machine, so Igor took the model number and arrived the next morning with what he needed. As he worked, he discovered that there were other things that needed unclogging and cleaning and he did them without adding more cost. He worked quietly and efficiently and I now have a washing machine that feels like new. Before he left, I asked his opinion on whether or not I needed to upgrade my fridge to improve efficiency-- he said that if my fridge was working well-- not to bother. Buying a new one is a costly venture and may only save me a minimal amount in energy bills. I highly recommend Igor and Universal (which is one and the same) and would definitely call again for appliance repair.

Igor came on time, analyzed the problem quickly, and gave me a quote. I thought it was a little expensive, but then again that figures to fix a Wolf. He also offered to do maintenance on my wine fridge free of charge! He called as soon as the part was in and came on time for our next appointment. He also looked at my washing machine and gave me a solution to my problem free of charge again! And the solution it's self is something I can do! Over all my experience was great. I will call Igor next time I need some appliance help. It's nice when someone does what you pay them to do on time, well and in a professional way. It usually doesn't happen that way.

I have used Igor on several occasions to repair various appliances, including my dryer & oven. He is always professional, honest and very knowledgeable. On major repairs, he gives me options and is very truthful regarding the best course of action. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to both my neighbors and family. I couldn't be more pleased with his service.
