Description of Work: I called to have my AC unit cheked out because water was coming through the ceiling. I looked on Angies List for a respectable business in the area and found Eagle appliance and repair. I called and the repairman said he was booked for the dayless than but if he got an opening he would call. he called a couple hours later and said he had an opening. he came by 30 mins later diagnosed the problem and was out of there within an hour! loved it! Great service

Description of Work: My refrigerator was not cooling properly. Larry, the principal repairman at Eagle Appliance, made three visits, and successfully diagnosed and fixed the problem at minimal cost. Larry is very punctual, cordial, and smart. He did not have prior experience with my refrigerator model (and generally has less expertise with the newest models and computer-operated systems), but he deduced the likely problem, ordered the part, and not only fixed the problem but improved other aspects of the refrigerator's efficiency. We were extremely pleased by Larry's work.

Description of Work: I asked Eagle Appliance to come to my home to repair my stove. Larry came out the next day(on time!)and looked at the stove. He concluded that, because the issues were with the computerized controls of the stove, he would not repair the stove. I was impressed with the fact that he did not charge me a trip fee, even though other repair people I have worked with have charged me such a fee, even if no work was performed. I will definitely call Larry out again to work on my other appliances.

Description of Work: Based on the positive reports, I was looking forward to getting a repair for my Kitchen-Aid He3 washer but he does not work on "the newer computerized" appliances. Oh well.

+ -1 moreI spoke to Larry and made an appointment to repair my Kenmore Elite washer, which was not draining. Larry came out on time, was very personable, and after looking at the machine, let me know that the problem was in the computer operating system, and I would have to deal directly with Sears for a repair. He charged no money to come out. I would use this company again for large appliance repair.

+ -1 moreSteve (I think) came and immediately diagnosed the problem and told me that I needed to change the vent. When he easily could have told me the dryer was defective, he did not.
Description of Work: I asked a technician to come and check on why my dryer was not drying properly.
