Raffi was professional, honest, flexible, easy going, and dependable from start to finish. Raffi's background in traditional painting was one of the reasons we went with him. He was helpful in our selection of colors. My wife and I ended up buying dozens of samples, and Raffi sat with us and painted swatches throughout our home and in various lighting conditions to figure out the best color for each of our rooms. The one bump we did hit was there was a bad color mixture from the painting company when Raffi went back to pickup a second batch of paint. So after the paint had dried, there were some uneven spots on various segments of our walls. This was no fault to Raffi, but the painting company that mixed the paint. Raffi did come back and repaint several sections of our home, essentially adding a 3rd coat to many walls to even out the paint. One small thing is that I wished Raffi would have been more generous using his painters tape and taping off trims and sharp edges along doors, etc.- a small note that most other people probably wouldn't see, but my wife and I are a bit picky. He made sure we were happy with all the work, and coming back to retouch anything and everything we asked for. In the end, everything looked beautiful and we were extremely happy with the work.

I called Raffi to set up a time for him to quote the job. He was very flexible and considerate with my time. He arrived on time and provided a quote. I called him back a few weeks later and he again set up a time that was convenient for me. The job took two days. When done you would not know that there were ever any holes in my walls. They were extremely neat.

We received an estimate from Brothers Painting to paint the exterior of our 4 townhomes. The estimate was too high and did not include replacement of any damaged wood. In addition the time to paint was about 4 times what others were quoting us.

We loved Raffi. We had several estimates provided for the job, and while Raffi's price was a somewhat higher bid than others; he was willing to help us out on many items that other painters refused to do. We wanted our cabinets shaved/sanded so that they opened and closed properly. No problem. We wanted help selecting colors. Not to worry. We had other painters tell us that they could not help us with these issues, or would subcontract out the work (for more money). We negotiated a compromise price that was amenable (although slightly higher) than other bids, but Raffi really made us feel that he knew what he was doing and explained to us our options in a clear way that gave us confidence. He did most of the job while my partner and I were at work, which suggests the level of trust that we had in his work ethic. Raffi's work was great! He helped us choose colors (our original selections showed off our lack of interior design sense). He was helpful in moving furniture, removing fixtures, etc. He really did quality, detailed painting and often provided suggestions as to how he could make things look more professional. He also was extremely patient and accommodating; we decided mid-way through the job that we wanted to do some electrical work which caused some holes to be made in work he had already done; he patched the holes and continued painting without complaint. We also decided that colors we had selected for the kitchen and a living room cabinet did not feel right, so he repainted them at our request for a small charge. Raffi took the time to touch up the paint throughout the house so that it looked perfect. He even went so far as to touch-up our deck that we had refinished ourselves but had been nicked in a few places by his crew without even being asked! He left all the extra paint clearly marked as to where they were used for our future reference; very helpful. After Raffi finished, I noticed a few more touch-ups that were needed and that some smoke detectors had not been installed. He came by a week later and fixed those items so that everything was perfect. He has also offered to do touch-ups in the future if we needed them after moving the furniture back. The only minor complaint I could lodge (and it is minor) is that things weren't super-clean after they were finished, which is likely a factor of the size of the job and that certain areas could not be cleaned until our belongings were cleared (which they couldn't be cleared until the paint had sufficient time to fully dry). A few blinds were nicked, etc., but nothing that would cause me to hesitate to hire Raffi again. He also gave us a quote for painting the exterior of our house and a detached garage which was reasonable.

It went smoothly. They were reliable and did a good job.

We were thrilled! This is my mom's house, and these rooms had not been painted since the late 1960s. The painter showed up on time everyday he was schedule to be there. He and his two employees were neat, thorough, and courteous. They went the extra mile by taking our old sofa to the curb for pick-up by the Sanitation Department. All hardware was removed or taped. He helped us with our paint color choices. He and his employees even shared their own special Armenian blend of coffee with my mom. It took them two full days (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) to complete the painting. Then they came back 4 days later to rehang a large mirror over our living room fireplace. He also told us to contact him if we had any damage to the paint after our new drapes and carpets were installed, and he would come back and do any needed touch-ups. This painting job went from something we were dreading to a very enjoyable experience.

Did incredibly detailed work, left the house cleaner when they showed up. And, to boot, were SUPER nice to my 3 year old twins (and very patient with my annoying barky dogs). To top it all off, a week or so after the job was completed, they called to make sure we were still happy with the work that was done. I would recommend them highly to anyone needing quality work at a very reasonable price. Trustworthy and gracious. Will be bringing them back to do more work. Lovely and gracious.

He was pleasant to work with, patient, and willing to listen to my questions.

One more thing,..He goes beyond just painting,. He've very detailed. He even shaved down the edge of my front door down because it was sticking, and fixed several other things that many other painters look at with an eye half open.

Let me just say that Raffi has been a wonderful person to work with. He's prompt, courteous, honest, professional, and personable. On Sunday 5/20/07 I sent an email to Raffi looking for a quote and he called me on Monday morning and was at my place forty-five minutes later. True to his word, he called the next day with a reasonable quote and I agreed to use him. I needed to do some drywall and electrical work before he started, but I was running out of free time, so I asked if he had any recommendations on who could help. He called back within an hour with the perfect person to help. Raffi had an excellent two man crew scrape the ceiling and skim coat it. They then patched the walls (where floor-to-ceiling mirrors had been removed) and smoothed the walls. Raffi and another person then came in and painted nearly the whole place in one day. I wasn't able to reschedule my movers, so Raffi came back at a later date to finish painting the hallway, closets, and some touch ups.

Everything went very well. Raffi did what he said he would do.

He initially did a wonderful job but had to come back once cabinets and such were fitted. At this time I suppose he was pressed for time and was not as meticulous as I would have liked. For example paint had smudged onto the edge of the cabinets. In addition, he complained about every little detail saying that it did not fall within the kitchen. For example, there is an open entryway into the kitchen with has framing and refused to paint that area. Also, I decided not to install crown molding and an outside door was stained instead (not by him). The interesting thing was that he expected to be paid anyway for work that wasn't done. I asked him to do something else but basically didn't do it. Also he argued with me that paint dust splattered on the floor was dust instead of paint and didn't want to clean it. Didn't reinstall any window hardware that he removed before painting. Difficult personality.

He did an excellent job. He did all the work himself. He did quality preparation and painting. He even mixed a custom color to match the old color.

They did excellent work. They were very thorough, polite, and had great workers. I feel like I am in a whole new house; their work has lifted my spirits. I go into the new year feeling great because of Brothers Painting.

I would (and already have) recommend these guys.

Raffi the painter and extra worker did a very good job preparing the siding. Scraped, grinded and sanded and patched the siding. They were not the cheapest quote I got, but Raffi took the time to look at the house thoroughly beforehand and tell me what he planned to do. They cleaned up after themselves. Used good quality paint.

HE WORKED FAST, BUT CAREFULLY SO HE WOULDN'T MAKE MISTAKES. THE PAINTER WAS REALLY NICE AND HE WAS WORKING ALL THE TIME. HE WOULD NOT TAKE SOME BREAKS FOR A LONG TIME. HE WANTED TO GET THE JOB DONE.

THEY WERE VERY TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED. THEY HAD ALL THE RIGHT TOOLS. THEY USED A SPECIAL SCRAPING TOOL TO SCRAPE OFF ALL THE RESIDUE THE RAIN HAD CAUSED AND THEN PAINTED OVER IT.

THE PAINTER WORKED FAST. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL. THE PAINTER GAVE A REASONABLE PRICE FOR PAINTING THREE ROOMS.
