Appliance's Repair

Very sayisfied -- was able to speak to the proprietor directly in advance, not an answering service, and get a free (and reasonable) estimate over the phone for my old Maytag dryer issue(s). He arrived on time at the scheduled time, got right down to business and quickly detemined that the problem was a mechanical issue (broken blower wheel). He also recommended that I keep my 30 year old Maytag dryer as they are just so much more simply reliable than the new fancier dryers that tend to break after 2 - 3 years.

The repairman arrived at the time promised. He had the replacement part with him, he repaired the dryer and left, leaving no mess and the dryer works!

First of all, he was supposed to text me when he was going to arrive that did not happen. After looking at the dryer he quoted me one price then after when he was supposed to have repaired it he quoted me a higher price. When I confronted him that he had quoted me a lesser price he then excepted that price. I was pretty upset and felt that this was a man was trying to pull a fast one over me. But it appears that the dryer still isn't repaired properly because it still squeaks and doesn't sound as if its on the rollers, that he was supposed to replace, doesn't t sound proper. I contacted him and let him know that this week was still there and I still haven t heard back from him. $225 for repair not done. UPDATE: This is my second review after the first review was sent in accidentally. I would not recommend this person to anyone. Why? First of all, he did not contact me before his arrival. Sunday night requested to be done. After his initial assessment of the dryer issue, he quoted me one price after he was finished he quoted me a higher price. I confronted him about the price difference and he settled for the lower price. The dryer still does not work. The squeaky sound still exists and after leaving a text message to the repair person I still have not heard from him. The price issue made me question this person's integrity.

Dinh was ok during his first visit but when I called him back for the terrible grinding sound coming from the washer he said it was normal, which I don't think it was. It means there's something wrong. I am so disappointed!

They were on time, professional but expected to pay only $45 but ended up paying $65. I thought they should be more transparent with the way they bill their customer

Mr. Nguyen did a good job. I was concerned because he smelled of cigarettes. I also felt the price was a bit high.
