*They guaranteed they could close my loan in 3 weeks. From the beginning, the loan officer didn't respond to my questions, if she responded at all. She repeatedly had "emergencies" that she blamed for not doing her job correctly. The week before the loan was to close, she sent me an email telling me that she was leaving the next day for 5 days. *When they were already several days behind schedule, they called me to tell me that there was a "pricing discrepancy." They had quoted me the price for a single-family dwelling rather than a condo, even though I confirmed in writing that it was a condo. They wanted me to pay an extra .75 points. They then sat on the docs all afternoon while they decided what to do. When I called the loan officer at that point, she repeatedly cut me off and told me that all of her clients were satisifed. It didn't matter if I was unhappy with her service, because I was 1 in 1000. She later called the person who recommended her to complain about me and tell him that I needed to be more flexible. In my opinion, that is a total lack of professionalism. *They only sent the the HUD1 when I requested it. They did it wrong 3 times. They did not provide me with the HUD1 before I went to escrow, even though by law, it should've been provided to me 24-hours before the signing. *They drew the docs wrong. They put in impound accounts, even though I requested not to have them. They refused to re-draw the docs urgently, even though they should have been there 3 days earlier. I signed them with the impounds, because I couldn't waste any more time. That PM, they called escrow and said the docs were wrong and had to be re-signed. When I requested the contact info of a superior, my requests were ignored until I sent it 3 times. Then I received an email stating that the processing department had done an "outstanding job," even though they knew that the docs were wrong. *I had to cancel my movers at the last minute, because they kept telling me we would still close by Friday. Escrow finally told me it wasn't possible. *The notary came to my house on the weekend. Escrow had the docs sent to B of A via messenger on Tuesday morning. The loan should have been funded that day. B of A claimed they didn't have the docs, even though they had signed for them. They didn't fund the loan that day. *On Wednesday, when the loan was supposed to be funded, they said that the appraisal was showing a single-family dwelling. They couldn't fund the loan until the mistake was fixed. This is the same appraisal that supposedly "came back a condo" a week earlier, which alerted them to the "pricing discrepancy." They didn't fund the loan. *They did credit me their fee when I requested a refund for the poor job that they had done. However, they refused to refund me the $420 that I was charged for the appraisal, because it was "handled promptly and appropriately." It held up the closing, but apparently that is considered "appropriate."
Description of Work: *Home loan. Three week escrow. They knew they couldn't close it, but they told me they could, then when they repeatedly made mistakes on it, they told me that they had "only" had the file for 21 days and that they had done a "wonderful job." This was the WORST customer service I have ever heard of. *Extremely unprofessional. Did not respond to my requests for information, and when they mde mistake after mistake, they never once called me to update me on the situation. The loan officer called the person who recommended her to complain about me. They did the HUD1 wrong 3 times. They had to draw the docs twice, because they were wrong. They closed the loan a week late. They told me I was lucky that they were working so fast, because they had until June. The closing date was to be 5/22. *They took absolutely no responsibility for their mistakes.
