Hired in early Spring for dandelions and clover control. After 4 months of service and an aeration I did not request (while I was gone), my lawn now has several new invasive weed varieties that they admit their chemicals can't kill but their proposed solution is to spray more chemicals that don't work. OK!? I suspect they spread more weeds with contaminated equipment. Management gives bogus excuses like "birds pooping weed seeds onto your lawn," so they obviously think their customers are stupid. Won't give you a refund. Save your money, don't hire these people. Total SCAM.

They killed my entire lawn, front and back. Said it was due to a bad batch of chemicals. They hired a contractor to lay sod and they did not supervise him. He planted a very low quality lawn in a different configuration than the original design and refused to repair it to our satisfaction. Weed Man never intervened to rectify the situation nor did they ever physically visit our residence to see the problem. They did write a verbose letter apologizing but never fixed the lawn. We paid to fix it and considered suing them but it did not make economic sense.

"Dear [Member name removed], In response to your review of our company, we revisited and reviewed our notes from this unfortunate incident. Yes it is true; we had an incident where we unknowingly applied a contaminated chemical to your lawn in March of 2009. It was determined that it was no fault of the technician, but rather, it was the result of contaminated product. Since we are not in the business of replacing lawns, we hired a sub contractor to replace your lawn at our expense. Again we apologize for your experience with this contractor. We have not used that company since that time. In addition, measures were put in place long ago to avoid this kind of thing from ever happening again. We have always prided ourselves in providing honest, quality, service to our over 3,500 customers in the Valley and we would not be in business very long if we didn't do everything possible to earn their trust. So again, we sincerely apologize for your experience with our company at that time and any inconvenience it caused you."

The guy that was applying the chemical was very good but we just got to the point where we just couldn't afford it. The treatment would had been efficient if we had our whole two and a half acres done but that's way too costly and we just felt that was fizzle to have the part of the lawn that they treated because the seeds blow-in from every place else. They were very responsive and very good. I think they are fairly expensive.

Their treatments have been very effective because my lawn looks good, and I haven't seen any weeds thus far.  The company is also very reliable with regards to following through on scheduled treatments.  Unfortunately, I had to cancel my service recently because their prices were increasing, and I began to question some of their methods.  As an example, they became a bit defensive when I asked why they fertilized the lawn in winter when it was dormant.

It was great as usual.  I appreciate that they customize their treatments to my lawn's needs, and they do thorough work.  They also call ahead to let us know who will be at the house and when to expect them.  Ultimately, it's a pleasure doing business with them, and they have made our lawn look wonderful.
