I looked into your account and I found notes from the first appointment to replace the water heater and you had asked us not to start the permit process until the install was done to your standards. It was an unusual request but we were willing to work with it. The water heater install passed the permit inspection on the first time with a recommendation from the inspector to move a vent over to avoid a fire hazard. We did come out to address the concern first thing in the morning on Labor Day and moved the vent over as recommended. I sincerely apologize that we did not meet or exceed your expectations with the service that was provided to you and for the amount of time it took to complete the job. That is not what we strive for. We will be reaching out to you to discuss a better way to move forward and we will use this as an example to improve our customers experience in the future. I wanted to address the shock of our pricing. The repair does come with a one year warranty. I know you mentioned you have replaced these before, so please remember that in the next 12 months if those flappers fail to work properly, give us a call and we can come out to replace the part at no charge to you. Due to having a fully stocked truck to perform repairs quickly and with the repair warranty, the parts do cost more than if you went and bought from a store and performed the repair yourself. I was able to locate that estimate and you are correct it was $604 for a condenser fan motor and capacitor.
