Since this is the biggest investment to my home, I came to Angie's list for help and went with the roofing company with the highest amount of positive reviews. Apex Valley roofing also is a member of the BBB which also was a plus. From the first day I called Ricky, he was able to come out that same day and give me an estimate, as well as bringing all the information on the different colors and types of roofing. Since my husband was not home at the time, Ricky came back and spent time with him explaining all that his company would be doing. His workers were always on time, the roofing materials arrived when we were told, and his workers were excellent in putting on our new roof. We had a strange angle to part of our home which was a concern, but Ricky made sure it was taken care of properly and explained how it would be taken care of. Our roof took three days which included the City inspection time. Ricky gave us several different options for our roof with three different pricing levels depending on the type of roofing material. We choose the more expensive roof which is much thicker and shows more definition, as did our shake roof. This roof is beautiful in that it looks like shake, but isn't. Cars slowly drive past our house and I can see them looking at our new roof, we are very pleased at how professional our roof looks, like a work of art!! You won't regret giving Apex Valley roofing a call, his estimates were great in comparison with the other companies I called to my home, and he was much more dependable than the rest. His office staff is very friendly, and you never wait long to get a response from Ricky if you call his office.

I gathered estimates from three companies. Two of them said their prices had or were going up, so I should commit NOW to take advantage of the cheaper price or their on-hand, cheaper stock. Apex Roofing did not. Of all three estimates, their price was the best. Their crew arrived as scheduled and worked swiftly in blistering heat. I was having AC/Heating work done around the same time, and Apex cooperated in pausing in the middle to allow that team to do what they needed to do on the mid-point roof. They picked up after themselves pretty well and left behind a fantastic roof. I feel I was treated well and got what I paid for.

Everything went smoothly from the time of the quote until the job was completed. Very professional,on time,organized,polite and the cleanup was amazing. I have been in awe of my new roof since the completion 9/11/2013. Start date was 9/9/2013. Inspections were passed and materials delivered proficiently. What can I say Ricky and his crew are number one in my book.

Ricky came out promptly and gave me an estimate. The work was done yesterday and today. They arrived on time and stopped the first day because of the heat. They returned up this morning and finished up quickly and neatly. My patio and lawn were cleaned up and Ricky even removed a dead bird from my patio for me. I was delighted with his professionalism and with the quality of his work.

They were very fast, friendly, they met our schedule as well as make sure that everything was in place to get the roof done and improved, they were inexpensive, very quick and we did have an issue with the gate and they came out and made sure that it was corrected.

Apex came out on time to look at roof and give quote. From there they scheduled service within a week and kept me updated on the estimated arrival time. It was one of the hottest days in July and yet they did a great job in cleaning up and repair. There was one area that we wanted more attention on and they came back and added some more metal to protect it from happening in future. They came on time, cleaned up all the droppings and mess from the repair, and even came back when I asked them to add something to one area. I would use them in the future. Highly recommend them.

They arrived on schedule at 7 am on Monday and had all the shingles removed and added the 2 new sheets in about 5 hours. The next day the inspector arrived and signed off on the intial inspectin so on Wednesday they had everything done by 1pm and cleaned up after themselves on both days. Rudy Garcia has a great crew and I would gladly recommend them to my friends.

Ricky came a day earlier than planned, found a structural problem, made a special trip to the hardware store and finished the job in one afternoon. I heartily recommend this company.

Ricky gave us a good bid price, had his crew lined up to do the job when we scheduled to have it done. His crew came in , did the job with quality parts and professional labor. We are very happy with the job done on our roof.

They were very thorough and did a good job. They cleaned up really well afterwards. They were very punctual and they didn't ask any extra; the quote was what the final result was and they gave us a discount because we were part of Angie's List. We got other quotes and they were the best quote. We were very satisfied. We would definitely use them again.

The guys did a great job. This is the second roof repair they have done for me and I have been very satisfied. The neighborhood actually lost power so they brought in a generator to operate the power tools in order to finish the job that day. I would recommend calling them for an estimate if you need roof repairs done. They are competitive in pricing.

I found them on Angie's List. They were very quick and very efficient. They did a good job. They were very pleasant to work with. I would recommend them to others. I got a $200 discount from Angie's List. It was a fair price. It was a small roof but they put up a top quality roof on.

I read the reviews of this company on the Angie's List website and called. They were responsive in submitting a bid and were easy to schedule when I decided to use their company. They were as great as the reviews said, as well as being the most reasonable. I met with Ricky, the owner to choose the color of composite. His team worked fast and efficiently and did a great job of cleaning everything up. They advised me of the need for smoke and CO detectors in the residence and provided me the form to complete for the city inspector so I could have it ready without delay. Ricky said to be sure to call if there were any problems we noticed when the rain came although he didn't expect any. I feel certain that he will be good to his word should there be any problems, but I don't foresee any either. This is a good company.

I have to be honest that this is my first use of Angie's List. I was apprehensive at best and got 1 other estimate. There was another company that I called but they were out of business. When I called Apex Ricky came over and went up the roof to take measurements and gave me 2 brochures to look at if I chose their company for the shingles. He said his office would send me through email the quote. I talked to him about my enclosed patio and how I was tired of the leaks and how hot and cold it was. He gave me quotes for just the roof of the main house and if I wanted to do the patio also. I ended up choosing both. I chose Apex because they quoted using 30 lb felt and the other company was using 15 lbs. Also, Apex was offering to use new vents and such and the other company was going to use my old ones, just repaint. After seeing how many more vents were added, I am sure the other company would of charged me more for the extra vents, as Apex the price was the same. Once I made up my mind and the ladies in the office let me look at other roofs that they had done, Veronica and Nicole are great at answering questions, I just had to pick a date for the project to start once I signed the contract and picked the color and type of the shingles. I found out that I don't like the folded look of the profile ridge of the Markalay shingles so I chose Timberline which lay flat. The men were out there promptly at 7 waiting for the dumpster to arrive. They tore down the old shingles and put up the wood to hold the new shingles. They were done I think by 3. They took the dumpster away and the next morning the delivery of the new shingles arrived and were put on the roof. That morning the men came, but the inspector didn't arrive till 1:30. Some of the men left to work at another site I think, but 2 men stayed and waited for the inspector. Once he did his inspection, the men started laying down the felt and shingles and I think they called the rest of the crew. They ended up finishing the next day by around 11:30 or so. They picked up the staples with magnets each day. I liked that Ricky answered my questions as did the ladies in the office, because I had a lot of questions. If I had a concern they took care of it. I liked that Ricky had someone wait for the inspector. My neighbor is also getting her roof done by another company and her roofing company did not have someone wait for the inspector, so he left without checking her stripped off roof.

They did a great job. Very fast and punctual. They provided a quote the same day (with a copies of their bond and liability insurances). They were the lowest of the 3 quotes. I called with questions about the quote and within 1/2 hour I had an updated quote for the same amount with the issues clarified. When we were ready to proceed, Ricky came out to the house with shingle samples so we could compare styles and colors. The actual amount I paid was the quote amount. I defineately recommend them.
