We have a Shapell home that was built in 1986, with a very small master bathroom that is adjacent to the master bedroom. The Wright Brothers Builders, under the direction of Manager Renatto and contractor Sergio, did an exceptional job completely renovating the bathroom and updating our master bedroom.
His team removed a wall that had separated the vanity from the toilet and tub/shower, and created a pony wall instead with a custom ledge. They demo'd the bathroom to the studs, placed a new bathroom window, soaker tub, toilet, vanity and tiled the entire tub surround to the ceiling with beautiful glass subway tiles. The Wright Bros Builders tiled the floor with slate, and painted and placed new baseboards in both the bathroom and the master bedroom. They placed new lights over the vanity, added a new ventilation fan, and coordinated with the granite company (for the new vanity countertop) and with the glass tub/shower door company to ensure seamless installations. They ordered and placed a custom frosted paneled double door for the bathroom entry, and also changed out the master bedroom door. They also installed a beautiful ceiling fan in our master bedroom. All of the items were homeowner selected, except for the window and the frosted paneled double door.
I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism, attention to detail, and the outstanding communication exemplified by the Manager Renatto and his contractor brother Sergio, who was on site every day. Renatto communicated with us several times a day, listened to what our needs were, and consistently followed up on any and all issues, no matter how small. He was always on time, he was respectful of our time and answered all of our questions competently, and he gave great suggestions regarding the design of the project that really made a positive difference.
He really showed that he cared about the project, and took great pride in the quality work that his crew did. And, it truly was quality work! The glass tile surround in our bathroom was perfectly aligned; everything they did was meticulous. They cleaned up after themselves every single day, which made coming home to see the work a pleasure--it was great to see their progress and not worry about any mess! They even moved all of our bedroom furniture for us, so they could paint the master bedroom walls! I thought that was going above and beyond, since we had told him we would move the furniture. They did a lot of little "extra" things that we needed, or they saw we needed, and always with a smile. At the end of the project, Renatto also had a cleaning service come in to deep clean the areas that they had worked in, or walked through! He said it was just another way to demonstrate their commitment to customer service.
I highly recommend the Wright Bros Builders for any future home reno projects. They were truly an exceptional company to work with, and I have very high standards. I absolutely LOVE my bathroom now; it is modern and feels so much more spacious now!
As far as price goes, the Wright Bros Builders were not the least expensive, nor the most expensive. We had a tight timeline to get this project completed, and we had interviewed several contractors who could not meet our timeline. The price Renatto quoted us was, at first, expensive. But in comparison to other quotes, and with a timeline that worked for us, we chose the Wright Bros Builders because we felt it was a fair price and we really liked how Renatto was passionate about providing quality service and a quality product. He was true to his word, and we could not be more pleased to have hired these folks to do a project that was so important to us. Total cost of this bathroom renovation is about $30,000--about $12K for supplies and $18K for labor.
