Description of Work: My oven would not heat up. Woody from G and H came out to diagnose the problem. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He found the problem, got the necessary new part ordered and returned with the part on the promised day. All work was done efficiently and quickly. I'm very happy with the results.

Description of Work: He came out to look at a problem with our old washer, it was rusting and vibrating because it had come center. His recommendation was not to fix, but to buy something new. He was very honest. He could have fixed it for about $350, but he didn't think it was worth it.

He came at the agreed-upon time, evaluated the problem and called around to get the best price for the replacement part. |I had no hesitation in calling him again when the oven quit working several months later. He was just as prompt, personable and professional as the first time.

Prices are very fair and he NEVER tries to up-sell or take advantage of your ignorance by "padding" the bill with unnecessary services. I always feel confident the work has been done thoroughly, professionally, and at a fair price.

Description of Work: My washer wouldn't spin, so Woody replaced the part that caused the problem. He showed me the old part that was disintegrating. He also showed me that the pump was starting to leak. I had him go ahead and replace that also. All in all it was a very positive experience. He and "Mrs. Woody" responded quickly to my request and were so friendly.

Description of Work: I received a call from my tenant stating that neither oven in my duplex rental was working properly. Angie's list provided me with the G & H Appliance Repair service and the problem was solved. Making the request for service was quick and pleasant over the phone and a couple of days later, I received a phone call telling me that both ovens were now working and I was given a breakdown of what it took to repair them and what the cost was. My tenants are very satisfied with the outcome and so am I. The job was completed very efficiently and professionally. I would call G & H for any appliance repair again without hesitation.

Description of Work: I called to inquire about a service call for my washer which is an LG. Unfortunately for me G&H Appliance does not service LG appliances. The woman I spoke to was so helpful and gave me information that was good to know. This seems like a very good company to use.

Description of Work: Service man came out right at time promised. He quickly found the problem. I chose to buy a new dishwasher rather than repair due to cost of repair, needed a new motor.
