I had emailed a request for service and quickly received a return call first thing the next morning. I described what I needed installed and asked for a quote. The scheduler transferred me to one of the service techs and I described the type of faucet and hose and what I needed. He gave me two prices: one for a simple install and one if they needed to replace the angle stops. I scheduled the service call and was given an arrival window and informed I would receive a call notifying me when the service tech was on his way..
Josh arrived and assessed the job. He was very professional and introduced himself. Because of the type of faucet, I had it was going to cost more and he quoted a price. We had some discussion over the price and Matt, the owner, called me. I had received a couple of other quotes from Angie's List plumbers and one "Deal" coupon that were lower. Matt honored my status as an Angie's List member and we settled on a price to complete the job.
The installation took just about an hour. I'm very happy with the job performed. I have used Coast in the past and will continue to use them. Josh told me he had worked for Coast for 5 years. It is a great testimony to the caliber of ownership when a technician in the service/repair industry has remained that long with one employer. Josh was proud of who he worked for. Unlike some other pluming companies out there, there was no pressure to "upsell" me for anything else/
After checking reviews on Angie?s List, I called Coast Plumbing this morning and scheduled a same-day appointment. The plumber (Dustin) arrived on time and was knowledgeable and personable. The installation of the new water heater took about three hours. The $1029 price included everything, such as installation of new earthquake straps and haul away of the old tank.
I am very pleased with the quick and efficient service I received.

The tech arrived on time and proceeded to locate the leak by opening up the wall inside a cabinet in a utility room that backed up to the master bathroom. Travis removed a section of 1/2" copper pipe and replaced with a new pipe and 1/4 turn shut-off valve.
The work was done in a timely and professional manner. After observing his work, I asked if he could replace the old valves and supply lines that service a sink in the utility room. After quoting a price, we asked him to proceed with the added work and he was able to complete it on the same service call.
Repair of the hole in the wall was not included in their work. We were informed that they did not do wall repairs before any work was started.
