They were very thorough in diagnosing and correcting the problems. We felt like they treated us fairly. They were very friendly and very pleasant. They seemed knowledgeable of what they were doing and everything they did worked properly. I have been using them for a year now.

It went great the guy who came out to fix my sink looked at it for a couple of minutes, told me what was wrong with it said he had to leave for a minute to go get a part for it he was back within a couple of minutes fixed it within a couple of minutes and that was it.

I waited for Wyckoff's to call me re: the estimate, but as of more than 1 week later, no phone call. So I called Wykoff's this AM and the young woman on the phone told me that many estimates, including mine, had not and quot;been typed up yetand quot;. She said I could expect the estimate faxed to me by the end of the day, and told me she couldn't read the estimate amount to me over the phone (for some reason). Later today, the office manager Brenda McKenzie called me and told me in an impolite way that the plumber who had done my estimate over a week ago was sick today and she needed to ask him some questions before the estimate would be ready, which would be at least by Monday (3 days from today). Since she did not apologize for my inconvenience, I told her that these delays were unacceptable. She spoke over me in a loud, aggressive voice and obviously did not care that I had been inconvenienced and obviously did not think she should provide good customer service.
I realized that it was not that the estimate was not and quot;typed upand quot; over a week after the estimate date, but that the and quot;bossand quot; had not gone over the estimate for over a week to write the actual monetary amount/estimate down. It was obvious that Brenda McKenzie did not think that she might call the plumber to get her questions answered so she could get me the estimate today, but that she felt fine giving me very poor and quot;customer serviceand quot; by making me wait at least 3 more days and being incredibly rude and aggressive with me over the phone.
I asked to speak to the office manager to complain about Brenda's aggressive, callous behavior but then she told me she was the office manager. I asked to speak to the owner but apparently he was not there today.
Because of the very poor customer service at Wyckoff's, that made me feel I was doing something wrong to complain about a valid concern re: an absurdly late estimate, I will never enter their store or use their services again. My brother, who is a contractor in Humboldt Co., said he will also never use their services again and if asked for a referral for plumbing services, will never recommend Wyckoff's.
I am hoping the owner reads this review. I am sorry for the staff who work under Brenda McKenzie as her behavior toward me, at least, was totally unacceptable.

As per our business policy, we must service our customer based on a first come first serve basis with critical service work being our top priority. Unfortunately, that means that our free estimates sometimes do not receive our immediate attention. We do our very best to ensure a quick turn-around time for our estimates. We only present our estimates in written form to ensure common understanding of the work to be done at the listed price. We choose not to verbally communicate estimates over the phone, especially when the plumber needs to provide more details so we can can confirm information. The manager of our store tried multiple times to make right by getting the estimate out to you the same day you called to explain your concerns, but she found it difficult to carry on a conversation without being interrupted or having to continue to repeat herself. It was clear that the conversation was not going to come to a conclusion that would satisfy your demands, even after attempts to fix the situation. As a family-owned business we pride ourselves in doing everything we can to provide excellent customer service and display professionalism. While the tone the manager displayed was stern, it was in frustration due to repeated attempts to have a civil conversation to resolve your concerns. At the end of the day, we do want to give the best customer service possible, and it was evident per our conversation that our business was not the best match for you. We hope you were able to find a contractor that was able to better assess and meet your needs and we appreciate the feedback so that we can continue to provide the best service to all of our customers. This last service was to the pipe near our well. The pump kept loosing it's prime. The came out, found the problem in a few minutes and fixed a fitting with parts on the truck. Went very quickly.

They sell retail as well as plumbing It was for my mother, she hadn't been here, just passed away, and they corrected a leak in the bathroom at this location. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.
