It was done quickly and efficiently. There were two heads that weren't working properly...one needed replacing, the other adjusting.

I noticed the lawn was turning brown in spots. Checked the control box and it was not working. Tried to get it to work without success. The box in the ground containing the sprinkler control valves was flooded. Checked Angie's List and asked Dame Landscaping to investigate. They went over the whole sprinkler system and identified areas that needed additional coverage, located the leak, located sprinkler heads that were not working and that the control box needed to be replaced. Also showed me where the drip system was broken and not providing enough water to the plants and shrubs. They provided an estimate in a day or so. It was acceptable.
Work was accomplished in two days. Dame Landscape was flexible in scheduling as streets nearby were being repaired and access to the area was restricted for a few days. Digging the trenches for the additional sprinkler lines was more difficult than expected due to the ground being very dry since the sprinkler system was not working for a while. Located and replaced drip system nozzles that were missing or plugged and changed them to adjustable spray nozzles. Fixed the leak, added pressure reducers to keep the pressure for the drip system low and not blow off the spray heads. Crew cleaned up area, showed me how to set the new control box and adjusted all the sprinklers for good coverage of the lawn. Lawn is recovering and is green again. Very pleased with the work and would use them again.

Advertised as $45 special deal: "Tune-up includes cleaning and adjusting clogged nozzles, main line inspection, lateral leaks, dry areas, rain sensor and set controller for proper watering time and duration." What I got was two men watching my sprinklers running.
The guy in charge (Steve Dame, I think) was very quiet and introspective. His helper didn't say or do much of anything. If either one of them "adjusted" any sprinkler heads, it was done with stealth. I don't think they even looked at the watering times set on the controller. No "tune up" that I could see, and I walked around with them the whole time they were there (maybe 20 minutes).
I asked about extending an irigation line, and got a estimate for $650 (The whole existing system only cost ~$3000 to install 5 years ago!). I added it myself for under $100.
Overall, less than impressed, but I guess I should expect "you get what you pay for."

They did a good job and I would recommend them.

He came over and gave us an estimate and then came back to perform the work. He took a little longer to respond then we were hoping, we had to track him down one time but otherwise he was efficient, punctual and the service was good value for the price. Our grass looks so much better now.

I did not feel the owner was interested in me as an individual customer but, work to send his crew out on.

They did a pretty good job of relocating some pipes and lines. The workers were very personable and professional. They need a litle improvement on their office paper work as they lost my estimate the first time around.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. We did not pay anything extra other than the big deal purchase.

Were very punctual and accommodating. Made a couple of suggestions. Came and left on time. No extras.

We have a small - medium sized yard that needed lots of trimming. Basically, our yard was overgrown. They trimmed the plants and bushes, weeded between pavers, and removed a large amount of bushes from a large planter. They showed up on time, were pleasant, worked steadily, and asked specific questions to ensure they did the job correctly. The owner contacted me via email within 1 day of purchasing the coupon to schedule. All in all, it was a good experience and I would hire them again.

Per my initial request they gave me suggestions of top soil to purchase and offered to buy it for me in advance of the appointment if I wished. I ended up buying it myself (but their suggestion was very helpful) and they were able to start the job right away. They offerred to install drips for each plant which was really great. The only issue was they are probably more used to larger more complicated jobs and were not necessarily thrilled about doing such a small, small project. If I ever have a larger landscaping need (sprinklers, lighting, etc.) I would not hesitate to contact them.

I had actually contacted them to do this before I saw the Angie's List Big Deal ($49 for $100 of service); then they allowed me to purchase it and apply it toward the labor. They recommended and installed a new sprinkler controller for our front and back yards, did it quickly and efficiently. It has worked fine since then and is very easy to program (much easier than the one that came with our place). They provided necessary information, scheduled, showed up, responded to emails promptly, and basically did what you'd like any service provider to do.

They were very responsive and estimate was much less than company we have used in the past. After 1st install we had a few brown spots and my hubby is a stickler for green grass year round even in Poway. They came quickly. Added another sprinkler at no charge. Will definitely use them again.

Meh. Color me unimpressed. 2 guys came out for 2 hours but they moved slower than our previous landscapers. We had a list of tasks that we needed performed and was told that it was somewhat realistic. Unfortunately, only a fraction of the items were finished.
They repaired a few sprinklers. Unfortunately, some of the sprinklers stopped working a few weeks later. My wife and I were disappointed so I reached out to them via email a few weeks later about the sprinklers. I was told they'd contact me back but I never heard back. I cannot recommend a company that offers slow work and doesn't get back to its customers.
Steve seems like a good guy but we didn't have a good experience without him in the picture. I hate writing non-flattering reviews but we weren't impressed with the work done. I didn't see like a good value to us...even at the discounted rate. We hired a gardener a few weeks later and they totally rocked. They worked 5 times faster than Dame did.

It was not much of a deal they just looked at it and said everything was fine.

I needed my 4 year old sprinkler system tuned up. Juan took care of all of the problems with the system. He represented his company very well. He gave an understandable explanation of what he was doing. He showed me what problems I could anticipate in the future.

Arrived a little late but my house is tucked away so not a big deal. He adjusted the sprinkler heads and programmed the system to come on at 0600 versus my manual turning on. Some of the sprinkler heads weren't big enough so he recommended the size that I should get for complete coverage. Very knowledgable technician. I feel the language barrier was a little bit of a hindrance but nothing we couldn't figure out.

He really knew what he was doing. He was great and thorough. He was also done extremely fast. I was very pleased with his service.

Steve sent Enrique by to do the work. I really like him because he is one tenacious worker who will find any irrigation leak on your property if you have one. He installed the new sprinklers and now, after 5+ months have passed my lawn looks better than ever.
