I'm a designer from New York that moved to the area few years back and this is actually my second house that I remodel with the help of Isaac & his team at Premium Remodeling. Their attention to details, flexibility and professionalism made me feel that this company is really the best one for me and that I will always hire them for any remodeling project that I may have no matter how far I will be from the job site. This remodeling job was based on a 'budget' condition and Isaac worked with me every stage of the way. My remodeling vision and my rush timeline should make this remodeling as a crazy as anyone can image BUT in reality, it was the opposite. Highly recommended company, teams and for sure Isaac.

Few months back we wanted to remodel our kitchen right after we purchased our new house. Aron and his team were wonderful, professional and he also helped us re-design the kitchen space and made it our dream kitchen. We couldn’t ask for a better results, customer service, design and high quality of a project. We do recommend Premium Remodeling without any hesitation.

Hiring Premium remodeling to work on the complete remodeling of our house turned out to be a great decision we made! working closely with our designer, Yossi and Aron created 1) Open space kitchen design that maximized each space while including all of our desires 2) Design & Remodeling a luxury spa, master bathroom. 3) Beautiful & highly functional laundry room. Our Project Manager, Isaac and the field staff executed this huge remodeling project with great skills, attention to many details, and ingenuity. Their awareness, skill, familiarity, suppleness and problem-solving abilities were outstanding. The entire office staff were receptive, helpful and reachable. The project required lots of coordination with many trades including dealing with the added complications that came along the way and many workers in one working space. Isaac never hesitated or disappointed us. Our high expectations were met on all the levels including the high quality & craftsmanship were fully worth the overall investment. We loved working with the professional team at Premium Remodeling and we highly recommend them.

These people made our lives a living **** for 19 weeks on a job that they told us would last 3-6 weeks. Part of the reason the job lasted so long is that our project manager left for a vacation to Israel in the middle of the job, and another project manager was assigned to us even though he had his hands full with other projects. It was routine for days, even a week to go by when no one would show up to work and no one would call us from the company to tell us why. The longest period was 8 straight days with no workers and no phone calls from anyone connected with Premium Remodeling Inc. As far as the work goes, every single step was a battle. Even after the job was finished we didn't want to go into the kitchen for weeks afterward because the process had been so traumatic. They lied to us repeatedly. One example is that they said they don't use subcontractors. Well almost everything that they did was done by subcontractors. And one of their subcontractors stole some supplies from us and even though we told the home office and our project manager about the theft they sent the same guy back to do work on our kitchen. And his work was horrible. He lied about connecting our microwave and venting it through our roof. In fact, he just vented it into our attic and left it like that. We had to get photographic evidence of this in order to have it corrected. He installed our new sink and faucet, and we had to have workers come back three more times to correct his work. I could write a book about our experiences with this company, but I'll make it short by saying the following: 1. Don't hire them! I wouldn’t hire them again to build a dog house. I wouldn’t hire them again if they agreed to work for free. I don’t mean that as exaggeration; I‘m dead serious. 2. If you do hire them, pay VERY close attention to your contract. Pay attention to the language of the contract. Don't sign it until you have a lawyer or another contractor look at it. One clause your contract will contain asks both parties to agree to forego the right to take legal action in the event of a dispute and instead agree to arbitration. Sounds reasonable, right? Well, at two different points in our nightmare with Premium Remodeling Inc we told them we wanted to go to arbitration to settle a dispute. Both times they told us that if we did that they would put a lien on our house. So both times we backed off. Understand that if you agree to arbitration you are giving up any legal leverage you have in the process. 3. Get EVERYTHING in writing. Don't expect this company to do anything they promise to do if you don't have it in writing. I can say two positive things about the company. 1. Our second project manager, Shown, was a huge improvement over the first project manager we were assigned. I think he did his best under the circumstances. 2. There is a lady named Elle who works in the office and she was very pleasant to deal with over the phone and kept her word to us in the few dealings we had with her. If all of Premium Remodeling Inc’s employees were like Shown and Elle the company would be much better and my grade for them would have been much higher.

The kitchen remodeling is ok, they misled me about other work done, including windows (HERO) and bathroom remodel. We will be going to court to settle this since they have not cooperated with mediation process.

I was referred to Premium Remodeling Inc. through a friend and requested a quote. I was given a tentative estimate which honestly they agreed to work with us within our budget. They confirmed the appointment the day before, called before the project manager arrived and showed up on time. We did a full walk through and he gave us a detailed estimate. He helped us decide on items that were a priority over others that could wait. I sent him pictures/names/paint color numbers and he matched them exactly. Isaac and his team are truly artists. They didn't cut corners at all. Light fixtures, vents, electrical outlet plates, door knobs etc. Were all removed so as to paint behind them. Plaster/painting and proper sanding (so as to make the walls flush) were conducted. He even painted the window sills/trims/molding and other items. If he had any questions, he texted or called us first. He finished the job, cleaned up and hauled away whatever garbage there was like a BOSS.   I am forever grateful and appreciative for the time and hard work he put into my property. His efforts really show and the 'house' has now turned into a 'home'. Every room, every space he touched has been transformed.

I'm very grateful that I found Joey to help with retiling my roof.  The company was quick to respond, efficient and clean. I found their prices to be reasonable and they kept me updated as things moved forward.  I felt involved in the process and never had to chase them down for anything ever.  Again I can't say enough great things about the Joey and his team. Hire them with confidence, you won't regret it!

Kitchen work was so-so. Ceiling above island is slowly peeling. The biggest warning I can give is have witnesses present for all dealings with them. Keep all texts from them and keep your lawyer on speed dial. Do not hire them for anything to do with "mold."

This company did not disclose the fact that the contract was given to a second person, which did not provide the license or any of the required references. All the appointment times, and the job normal phasing and scheduling were a mess due to the fact that Premium did not communicate on time with the other contractor. The job was supposed to be finished in ten days and it took almost one month. In the end they did not finished everything, and the overall work is looking worst than the initial roofing on the house. Very unprofessional, very untrusty and very messy.

Joey was my project manager, he is a person will promise you to the moon and pushy to get the contract. As a salesman he is good, as a project manager he did not manage much during the work. He don't even know why the first day the foreman off at two and came at 11 until I tell him. He told me the bin will removed daily basis but it stays there whole week. He promised to clean up everyday, but only the first day. And it's still nails everywhere in my lawn and pathway, I have to be very careful, I might kill my tire or hurt my feet. They throw everything in my trash bin so I didn't have space for my trash for one week. They promised me exchange the fasia board by pointing out the area, but when he write down on contract, it's different as what we point out( hard to know lack of construction knowledge) . And it should be 2*6 they put on 1*6 telling me mine doesn't fit 2*6. What are you talking about? I just don't want to argue anymore, done with the long delay job. They knocked down my plywood and not come to fix it, I can see a hole, through it it's blue paper sheet under roof. Joey act you must trust him by his salesman ability and still promise to Got you what he won't do then BLOCK your phone number. He like to say sorrys because he promised a lot he can't reach. I gave a B for at least my roof gutter is done in the end. But I gave a D to Joey because he is not trustworthy. So the average is C.

Many delays prior to approval. Oxnard has divisible room policy. Concern remaining loft area could be easily converted to another bedroom. Issue held up permit. At one point a backyard awning that was built without a permit was brought into question. I agreed to tear it down. I questioned why this was being attached to our permit. City agreed to separate awning issue from permit. Eventually plan was approved. Awning issue not only holdup. I don’t know all details, at one point city waiting on plan corrections from Premium. Isaac stated issues and firing of their architect. Eventually plans approved. Premium sent us a fruit floral arrangement apologizing for delays. Materials dropped off in driveway 10/2016. Now let me make this clear, reason for poor review based entirely on what transpired with Premium after plans approved. Framers framed room, Inspector came out; Premium said they would be there. Premium never showed up. Inspector noted several items; one being fire-sprinkler in new room. Isaac later contacted us stated this was an extra charge. I complained, Isaac agreed to pay half. He stated it would cost $3800. I contacted local companies for estimate found out Isaac’s quote more than double. I hired Service-Pro Fire Protection, cost $ 1,378.84. I think Isaac was trying to make it look like he was doing me a favor but ultimately; I would have paid for entire sprinkler if I allowed him to do it. Website states, he does so many room additions, should have known room would need fire sprinkler. Also, he says city approved plans without fire sprinkler and inspector asking for one now is why it's an add on. City of Oxnard requires a second, separate permit for fire sprinklers. Company rarely kept promises of when they would show up, starting with promise to be there when inspector showed up first time. I took time off to meet crew who were supposed to do work, only to have them either not show up or they were only coming to get an estimate. Received several calls at work stating someone at house but had not received prior notice. One day my wife and I leaving to go to work someone pulls up says he is there measure a window. Came home another time after receiving call someone at house to work on the heat ducting and as I pulled up they drove away. Contacted office and was told they were going to get a part would return, they never did. Different crew ended up doing work. Received call electricians at house. Never received advance notice. Drove home and they were only there to check outlet power. Ask them about ceiling fan install. I did not have one because did not know they were coming. Another time I had couple workers at the house from 8 am to 8 pm trying to hang closet door. Did not know what they were doing. Several times workers complained they were there to do one job but were being asked to do another. Framers covered heating vent. I pointed this out to inspector. He documented vent had to be uncovered. When framers left wife swept floor. She immediately put tape down to mark four damaged tiles. Isaac position was we could not prove work crew damaged tile. Issue with outlets. Isaac claimed since we ask for couple extra ones, outlets could not be run off existing CB. Said we would have to pay extra for wire run to CB panel. He also wanted to tack wire across ceiling to panel. I objected called electrician with city. Number of outlets (- additional ones) light fixtures required by code required separate line and CB. 4 long metal straps on sub-floor connecting new structure to old structure. Crew ask what metal straps were. Did not have enough flooring underlayment ask me to go buy some. Ended up leaving, not enough materials. Eventually installed flooring over metal bars. Floor spongy and giving way when walked on. Took video rolling golf ball across floor rolling up hill coming to stop rolling back down. Crew’s response was we ordered cheap flooring. Created tension in house because we were not going to accept shoddy work. While going down stairs wife said she heard one of the crew say “la puta”. They pulled flooring up beat metal straps into sub-floor. Pounded so hard light fixtures and vents under room were hanging by wires. I reinstalled fixtures. Contacted city and was told should not have beaten straps down. Damaged integrity of floor. Crew installing door said framers did not frame opening to correct size. Wall ripped down. Repaired wall looks like a repaired wall. Crew installing closet door did not appear to know what they were doing. Would not surprise me if opening was correct entire time. Crew complained they were sent to do one job ask to do another. Screwed up baseboard trim. Have rounded corner baseboards throughout the house. They cut baseboards 45 degrees on a rounded corner and filled gap with caulk. Filled several gaps with caulk. Knobs installed incorrectly. Only one Bi-fold door surface aligner installed, doors would not line-up when closed. Neither of the two 4-door snuggers mounted at the top. I finished closet door and purchased two rounded corners. Crew cut existing railing around loft spliced railing back together. Railing spindles do not line up. Cut ends of trim left that way. Contractor I hired to repair railing pointed out top part of railing was spliced together with single screw not within code. Whole section overlooking downstairs has to be replaced. Section must be able to withstand 200 pounds of pressure. Someone could fall down to first floor. Premium provided numerous excuses during construction like, my office did not call you, we are under new management, we fired the architect or the site manager did not call you? Isaac and I could not agree on how to settle fire sprinkler issue. Asked per contract for arbitration. Company ignored arbitration request. Several occasions Isaac stated he would start arbitration process, never did. Final straw when Isaac showed up with foreman walked thru house pointing out to foreman what needed to be done. Isaac looked my wife and I in the eye before he left and said he would show up the next day with foreman to ensure work was completed. Next day neither showed. Couple workers who had been to house before eventually showed up and ask what needed to be done. Same crew that did not appear to know what they were doing. Texted Isaac and complained about him not keeping his promise, he stated he took care of it. Work was never finished. Isaac calls and says he needs to come by house and pick-up final payment and completion letter. Completely ignored conversation we had previously about unfinished work. At this time hearing for the first time about additional city fees we must pay. Keep in mind we thought we had a fixed contract for $25,135.00. Without specific detail contract vaguely states city fees not included. Had no idea would add up to thousands of dollars. Not happy about this but we were willing to pay.To date have paid $24,135.00 of the contract. We were willing to settle and make final payment of $1000.00, pay additional “city fees” sign completion letter if company reimburses $1378.84 for fire sprinkler. $300.00 for repair to tile damaged during construction and $950.00 cost to finish railing and baseboards not completed. Isaac contacted me several times insisting on final payment and signoff. Isaac informed me of how much money his company has and how much pain he could cause me in court. Received two letters referencing mechanics lien on my property. Contract states all disputes to be resolved via arbitration. Filed complaint with Contractors State License Board (CSLB). 90 days to file a lawsuit after putting mechanics lien on property has passed. My attorney sent letter to Premium to remove mechanics lien. Filed YELP review. Isaac called me and left threatening message calling me a coward. Stated his company has lots of money and can cause me serious harm by putting a lien on property and ruining my credit. Isaac posted response to my YELP review claiming I’m a racist who constantly yelled at the work crews. This is so far from the truth. I never yelled at anyone. I did make and bring coffee upstairs to the work crew. I did provide sur

Well lets start by saying DONT HIRE THEM! i needed windows replaced and this was a test to see how they work since they go good reviews on this site, i figured i give them a try and if they did a good job then i wanted to hire them to remodel two bathrooms which was estimated just for labor at 32k. Well at first the contract was extremely vague. It stated "Replace old windows with new windows." No make or model. Nothing about how the work will me performed. (i have photos of the all communication and first and only contract they gave me) This was all to be done through the HERO program which i declined after finding out it will cost double. So since i wasnt going through with that program i requested a detailed contract with scope of work, make and model of the window. I didnt receive anything other than "your windows are here now" I didnt even have a chance to pick colors and was stuck with white. I requested a new contract or change order since they will NOT be installing two bathroom windows. Nothing so far.....This wasnt the bad part. They day when they came to install, an inspector was out there inspecting a different project. he asked "do you have a permit for the windows?" i replied with "they should since they wrote it on the contract." Inspector "well you better find out now and provide the permit number" So i called... and to find out they DIDNT HAVE A PERMIT. I've never worked with anyone that didnt pull the permit BEFORE the job started. So i had to take a day off from work to get the permit with my own money. So i called Premium Home Remodeling Inc to let them know im pulling the permit and to find out where my project manager was. Nowhere to be found. They told me they would call me back and will get this resolved. Well the inspector stopped the work and we were sitting there till i pulled the permit. I called Premium Home Remodeling Inc back to let them know the work has resumed. their response "We sent someone to get the permit" wait.... i just told you guys i pulled the permit. *** is going on there. So then i requested a new contract to reflect my costs since they put that they were getting the permit along with fees for it. Still nothing. Finally after all that, their project manager came back, also let me add that i only saw him three times during this project, initial estimate, when i got ****** for the permit and to collect the payment, to collect the payment since i would not pay until their work passed inspection. He came over and i asked him "what is the final total for the entire job?" he gave me the total which i wrote a check for. I just received a call today saying i have a balance due. Wait... what??? I have texts and email stating that i wanted a new contract for all the changes and fees but i didnt get anything and now theres a balance due? I clearly asked the project manager what the FINAL TOTAL! Also to let me know how im getting the warranty for the windows from the manufacture. He signed a certificate. -_- obviously its a mess there and never have i worked with any company that doesnt communicate. I cant trust them with replacing a light bulb.

They seemed amazing and attentive during the first meetings. Then the delays and miscommunication started. The quality of the work is fine, but definitely not worth the aggravation of trying to get the work done to my level of satisfaction and in a timely manner. Examples: They told me that they never hired sub-contractors (I was careful to ask that question). They hired subs for every part of my project. Said that a manager would be on site every day. That was not the case. We had to be on site to catch mistakes (wrong roof dormers/wrong paver pattern being laid/ front door install with-out hardware (so door wouldn't lock), Gutters installed down the front of my house (literally down the CENTER of my house). On the last day when work was supposed to be completed, there was not one person working at my house. The sub-contractor had somewhere else to be and his guys couldn't get a ride......... I had conversations with the project managers and asked for timelines. They made promises about the work getting done. There were a lot of "trust me".............. I'm sure I will love my patio when it's finally complete, but it has truly been a loathsome experience.

After finally deciding to remodel my decades-old kitchen. I started calling contractors with good reviews on Angie's list. I had visited IKEA and liked the kitchens they offered so I was looking for someone who was proficient at installing these products. I messaged Premium Remodeling and they responded that they had installed these kitchens quite a bit. Apparently, someone forgot to say this to the estimator who immediately said they they had never installed IKEA products as they thought them to be inferior. I thanked him for his time and he left. I ultimately did not install IKEA cabinets and chose a different installer-remodeler. Based on the positive reviews form others, I'm sure others have had a good experience with this company. I just couldn't trust them and chose not to work with them.

We recently hired Premium Remodeling for a few projects. They were able to meet us at our budget and delivered exactly the results we were hoping for. Isaac and Joey were very professional throughout the whole endeavor. They were helpful in describing the finished product when I had trouble visualizing how everything would come together as well as offering us the look we wanted in our budget range.

Premium's team called to follow up and ask if everything was up to par. We are pleased with everything and would recommend them and would definitely use them for any future projects!

After a huge rainstorm we realized we had a leak in our roof.  Our attic was soaked. I called Premium
Remodeling Inc. and Abe came to our house right away. After determining mold
was present we proceeded to remove the insulation from our attic and brought in
large dehumidifiers and fans to dry everything out. They returned frequently to
check the moisture level and monitor the progress. We repaired our roof,
removed the mold, and installed new insolation.
Abe is a really great guy.  He's professional, personable, honest, and
knowledgeable.  He gave us lots of helpful information and advice. He was
flexible in offering us payment options. He works hard and really cares
about doing an outstanding job.

Response from Premium Remodeling Inc

"We would like to address your feeling regarding our business transaction. We understand that you feel that you haven’t gotten the service you wished for. You have signed a contract with us because you trusted our work and spoke to multiple references that have shared their positive experience with premium remodeling inc. We had great difficulty performing this simple project due to the miscommunication between you and your spouse. 3 weeks have past and the design still hasn’t been selected. We also tried to accommodate your schedule as best as possible if you recall we would constantly meet well after normal business hours such as 7 pm and most of the 3-4 hours sessions would not be concluded as you and your spouse had simply different visions about your remodel. In addition we have sent crews twice to your location and nobody was home to allow them to work. We politely agreed that this project was not yet mature for production, and we returned your entire deposit and did not charge for any 3d renderings provided or time spent. We respectfully ask that you reconsider your review, as we completely believe that it is unjust."

Fast, professional, and great at what they do.
Not only did they redo the roof on our 1892 Victorian, they also:
- worked well around skylights
- checked in with us to confer our satisfaction
- cleaned everything up nicely
-assisted us in picking out the color for the exterior paint
Overall excellent service and a great company!

I am very pleased with my experience with Premium. I was concerned about the debris from the popcorn ceiling removal but they covered all of the furniture and flooring as promised, and made sure everything was tidy. They are very professional and pleasant to work with. The paint job is very clean and nice, and my space looks 100% better. Isaac is one of the best contractors I've worked with. Extremely professional, came on time when he said he would be there, did the job (roof tile replacement, remove popcorn ceilings)  and did a great job. Completely saved us a ton of headache. You will not be disappointed with his service. He's top of the line. We will recommend him to everyone in need of services.
