.I have been a customer of Kenny and Kiran for years, going back
to their old location in Studio City. I would not go to any other
tailor. They are lovely people who provide consistently excellent
service at a very fair price. And their new location in Encino is so pleasant, with parking to boot! I highly recommend them.

Kenny recently moved from Studio City to Encino.  It is farther to drive, but better parking.  This distance really doesn't matter, as his work is so good I would follow him just about anywhere.  I have been a customer for a number of years, and always find the work to be absolutely excellent.  Very 'old-school"....excellence matters!

We were happy with the work. It was very well done. The only problem we had was when we went to pick up the items at the time we were told they would be ready. When we arrived, we were told they weren't ready after all. The delay did not cause any problems but it was inconvenient to come and find out it wasn't ready. We would have very much appreciated a call so as not to waste the trip.

Very impressive work! I brought in a suit that needed tailoring and was delighted by the results. I had purchased a designer suit for an amazing discount at a nearby outlet mall. I wanted to have the pants hemmed and let out, but the owner suggested that I taper the jacket as well. He did fantastic work, and it looks like the suit was custom made for me now. I've been looking for a good tailor for a long time, and I finally found one.

The accuracy of the alteration and the speed with which he did it was really good. They take cash and checks but they don't take credit cards.

The lining on a brand new jacket I'd bought ripped. I knew that returning it to the store where I'd purchased it for an exchange would be more trouble than it was worth (store is up in Lake Arrowhead), so thought I'd check to see if it could be repaired locally. I was expecting to pay $20 or so. International quoted me $5 and promised the repair within a day or two, and sure enough, for just 5 bucks they made my jacket as good as new. And they're just a mile from my house! This is the first time I've used a company that I found on Angie's List, and I am delighted with the result. I strongly recommend International Custom Tailors for any tailoring, alteration or clothing repair needs.

They have a standard turn around time and I went to them because I need alterations done quickly because I was going out of the country. They worked with me and went out of their way to make my time line work. They did a beautiful job on everything and the prices were really great. They are a great mom and pop shop and they have been doing this type of work for decades. I have been back since this experience, as well. The price reflects a lot of different items.

I initially took in five pairs of slacks and one shirt for alternations. The results were great. They managed to make the waist fit, as well as the seat and crotch. The slacks now looked like they were made for the new, trimmer me. I ultimately had them alter about 18 pairs of dress slacks, khakis, and jeans. The results were fabulous. My wife was sufficiently impressed that she also took in about a dozen items -- dresses, jackets, and slacks -- to be altered; all with the same fabulous results.

Karin and Kenny are warm and lovely people who are quite talented in their tailoring profession. Karin pinned my tops as needed and they were ready to be picked up the following week. When I tried them on -- they fit perfectly!! I have since brought several sleeveless dresses to Karin to be altered, due to the same problem, and recently recommended them to a friend when she needed a dress taken in. I was very pleased with the quality of their work. I think you will be too.

Kenny is extremely nice, his prices are completely reasonable, and his work is great. In fact, I just stopped by today (and realized that I hadn't filled this out last time) to have him tailor a suit and a sportjacket. To tailer the suit was about 35 bucks, and he told me the sportjacket fit perfectly -- that it didn't need anything done. Always trust the guy who is willing to turn away business -- he is in it for the long haul.

This alteration took a week to complete, drop off on Saturday and pick up on the following Saturday. The work done was excellent. You counld not tell this was altered, and the shortened sleeve and cuff looked like it was made that way from the factory. Very satisfied, I have more clothes that need work and I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

I purchased a hand-made suit that did not quite fit me properly, but I loved the suit. I found International Custom Tailors through Angie's List. I contacted the tailor and made an appointment. I explained that I wanted an honest opinion as to whether or not he could make the suit look "good" on me or if he could simply improve the fit. After a fitting, with some pinning and discussion, I took the plunge and had Kenny go ahead with the alterations. I was contacted within a week for a new fitting. When I put the suit on, I was blown away. It looked GREAT and the unique qualities of the hand-made suit were maintained with great detail. There were a couple of additional adjustments that had to be made. These were done within the next week. I was more than pleased with the outcome. I will be taking all my clothing in need of alterations to International Custom Tailors. They are fantastic!

This was an excellent experience. The hem was pinned quickly and promised to be ready in 1 week. When I went back, it was ready and she had me try it on to be sure the hem was straight. The dress and lining were both hemmed neatly. She even gave me tips on storing the dress so it wouldn't stretch!

I went in on a Friday to hem a pair of premium denim jeans. After they pinned them up, they said that the jeans would be ready by Tuesday. I picked my jeans up on Thursday and was really pleased with the quality of work. The hem is nicely done and matches the original one. I've paid 3 times as much (in Beverly Hills) for similar quality work.

I had several expensive Italian suits tailored. The jackets needed to be recut, the arms shortened, the pants taken in and new cuffs added. They were professional, quick and extremely reasonable. They were significantly not only cheaper than anywhere else but are amazing professionals. The suits are very expensive and they did an amazing job. I look like a million dollars. They were speedy and detail oriented. I would highly recommend them.

This shop is able to charge half price for this alteration because it takes in the waist/hips from the back seam. If you want your pants taken in from the two side seams, he charges double, which is a more typical price for this alteration. Anyway, since the amount being taken in was relatively modest (an inch or two) and would not distort the placement of the side seams too much (which would obviously migrate toward the rear if a more substantial amount of material was taken in), I had him make the alteration from the back and it turned out very well. The seam is split open and laid flat, so you're not sitting on a bunch of clumped-up fabric, and no one can tell from the outside that an alteration was made.
