We had a poor experience with FixEm Appliance Repair ([*** Link removed ***] The technician arrived to check out the F01 error code on our Maytag stacked dryer. The quote sheet priced a service call at $90 for a standalone unit and $140 for a stacked one. The tech took a picture of the bar code and reported that the replacement part was no longer manufactured, which meant we had to get new unit. We decided to call Naqib Sadaat at Safest Appliance Repair (925.577.3676). For $200, he got the failed part to work, saying the fix might last weeks or years, and that he could find a replacement if needed (without charging more labor to install). We called the FixEm office to request they reduce the service call to $90 because their tech didn't do anything other than take a picture of the bar code. They refused.

It went extremely well. Moshe returned my phone call within 10 minutes of me leaving him a message about my request for a repair. The repair was very simple and Moshe gave me instructions over the phone on how to do the work myself. He could have come out and performed the service repair himself and collected a diagnostic fee but instead he gave me the option to get the repair done ASAP at no cost. I really appreciate the customer service of Fixem Appliance Repair.

I couldn't be happier. The response was very fast and the repair technician came within that day. Don't know if I got lucky but same day service is always welcomed. Repair was great and fixed it with no issues and it's been a week. They followed up with a courtesy call which I appreciated.

Both appliances broke at about the same time. FixEm showed up on time and fixed both the icemaker and oven. They had to order parts for both but it didn't take long to get them and they came back right away. Highly recommended!

The repair process went smoothly. FixEm was able to do a temporary repair so refrigerator was operable until the new parts arrived 7 days later. Arrived on Labor Day to install Evaporator Cover, Defrost Sensor, Leak repair kit, and door flipper. A preventive maintenance plan was put in place to reduce the chance of repeat part failure. The two appointment labor cost was $285.00. FixEm's integrity was excellent. It is definitely added to my call list for future appliance repair or preventive maitenance.

All went well . Found that the belt had broken. They didn’t have the belt part but returned that afternoon with the part and took care of the job. Also cleaned the vent and lint/dust. I had an issue with my fridge door not closing properly and they were able to figure out the issue. Total pros. Really nice guys. Will definitely contact again.

Very well. Nathan explained the approach and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. He had the replacement motherboard in his truck and installed it without any problems. He showed me the price before he opened the box and estimated labor charges. The only real issue was the labor charge which was $180 for the roughly 30-45 minutes he was here. Pretty steep in my opinion but the fridge was fixed in short order so overall I am happy. I did consider purchasing a new replacement fridge but this was the first service in 14 years so I expect a few more good years of service. Nathan suggested repair rather than replace given no other prior issues even considering its age. Also, we wanted to keep the custom wood panels on the fridge. A replacement fridge most likely would entail replacement wood panels. Big bucks. Happy with the final outcome.

Cooktop repair was just a reset, and there was no charge for that. Oven door hinges needed to be replaced and that was done quickly and efficiently by Nathan. Microwave turned out to be unfixable, and Nathan will return to install a new one for me. I would definitely recommend FixIEm Appliance Repair and use them again.

They were absolutely awesome. A broken refrigerator that needed fixing. Nate came during the specified time. He showed me the burned out part and showed me on internet how much it would cost to place the part. After giving me the total (including labor), we discussed repair versus buying a new refrigerator. I decided to have the part replaced, however, he needed to order the part and it would take several days to come in. In the mean time, he put in a temporary part so that I could still use my refrigerator. I would definitely call them again if I needed something else fixed.
