CONFORTI PLUMBING

It went really well. I called them at eight in the morning and they were here at noon. They were finished and gone by 1:30 p.m.. I would most definitely use them again.

In the past year I have used Conforti's services 3 times. Twice for plumbing blockages in the old home we purchased late 2015. And once to install a water line to my freezer's ice maker. They responded within an hour or two for my first service call (late evening in winter). Waste water was not draining from tub, toilet, etc.. The tech on site worked very hard and fast to get the clog resolved. The second time they came out to resolve another clog with camera in tow. The camera quit working part way through the job. They did not charge me for the camera time. They did follow up on the snaking out the clog and made sure it was resolved before leaving. The third time was a scheduled call to install a water line. Very reasonable charge and the tech was very careful with cabinetry. He replaced everything just the way it was, and tested the line before leaving.

Alarm on sewer pump came on on Friday. Called Conforti to check it out. They gave me a rate of $260 for first hour since it was on weekend. And additional $110 per hour for any additional hour. They came Saturday  took the pump out and they said pump needs to replaced. They had a grinding pump with them and told me they could install it for $2500.
i checked the price of the pump on line. It was $890. I asked how many hours to install but he did not want to hear about it. He said that is the price either take it or we are out of here. They new I had no choice since sewer container was too full for me to wait or call anyone else. They were ready to leave,leaving everything open. I felt they new I was in an emergency situation and they really over charged me. It took them total of 2.5 hours from the time they arrived. To be fair workmanship was fine but the charge and for the not to explain why it was so expensive. I called their office couple of days later to talk to the owner or a manager but they told me no one was available. I left my number but the plumber that perform the work called me. I told him I want to talk with a manager and he said he will give the them the massage. I am not sure if the massage was received by their manager since no one called me about my concern.

The crew at Conforti Plumbing came out in a timely manner with estimates that they indicated were worse case, and then proceeded to do the work under cost. The work was completed in a very timely manner and was very good quality. We will continue to use them in the future.

It didn't go good. The plumber/tech arrived and used a "fingerling" attachment to the drain "snake" despite being advised against this by a visiting family friend who happens to be a plumber. The tech stated that this was the only attachment he had. After approximately 45 minutes of ineffectual snaking, he suddenly DID have a larger head. By this time it was totally dark and he did not have the ability to both run the snake and have a light to be able to see the effectiveness of what he was doing.

The upshot is that blockage was obviously only partially remove --proven by the fact that within 3 days, the basement toilet was flooding again.

We tried to resolved this problem asking Conforti Plumbing do the job properly. The Manager refused to make any concessions about a job NOT completed properly other suggesting the waiving of the drain snake fee but insisted on further time fees at a cost of $99 per hour or part thereof.

 As we had already paid $292 to have a job done--that was NOT done, we believe they should have done the job PROPERLY at their expense!

Went great, they are very professional and provided everything that I needed.

Everything turned out well. They showed on time, did a good job, and were friendly as well as courteous. They even told me how to get the parts for free and simply charged for the labor which was great.

Recently I have had Conforti out twice to my new home for review / estimate for repair service. The first time they advised me I did not have to complete the repair I thought I needed and the 2nd time they advised how I could have repairs completed cheaper by the water purveyor. They were very honest in their assessments and saved me money - even when they could have easily told me repairs were necessary. I have used them often at my old house and they were always very professional, good quality work, friendly, and for a reasonable price. I will always go back to them for plumbing repairs and advice.

Of course this was discovered on a Friday at approx. 3 PM. I called and they said I would have to pay an overtime fee and they weren't sure if they could even get it done that day. Shortly after that call, the repair man showed up and corrected the problem within 40 min. I receive the senior discount and no overtime fees. The plumber cleaned up the area( under a deck) and showed me where my water valve turn off was. Very polite and I will be using them again soon for some more work!

I have used this company for over seven years. They are always on time and they stay until the job is done. They always fix any problems that arise. Their prices are reasonable. They are very courteous.

Water heater "died". Conforti was out here almost immediately....replaced a thermostat board in heater.....drained it and checked everything....also fixed minor leak while he was here! Great service and reliable too!!!

I was very please with the service. Gordon showed up right on time early the morning after I called. He was very friendly and helpful and he quickly had the gas line and valve installed. He then helped me muscle the new gas range up the back stairs and place it in the kitchen. He connected the range, turned it on and fully checked it out.

In addition, when I told him how much I was paying for propane, he referred me to another propane supplier that was 18% less expensive.

Problem: Sudden jump in water bill indicated some kind of plumbing leak. I was unable to determine where the leak was. In fact, it appeared to me to be happening between the meter and the front of the house where the water entered the building.
Service man arrived on time but without calling first as the company originally agreed to do. He did a check outside and under the house in the crawl space. Not finding anything, he guessed that it was one of the toilets in the house, even though I had not heard a toilet running. He was correct. He then replaced a fairly recent float in a recent water-efficient toilet. When I questioned why he didn't just adjust the float, instead of replacing it, he seemed a bit tongue-tied. Neither of us could figure out how to adjust the float, so we went with the new one.
He was efficient in his work, eliminated potential causes systematically, and then guessed the correct source of the problem.
One thing that would have been nice: a more willing and complete description of what he was doing as he was doing it in response to my questions. I appreciate the education.

A valve from our well to the pressure tank and a valve to our exterior water sources were leaking. Technician arrived within the four hour window given for the service. He had to reroute plumbing to replace the valves. The job turned out to be fairly complicated and he had to make trips to the hardware store for additional materials. He was very courteous and professional and the quality of his work and the materials used were great. He left the area clean at completion of the work. We expanded the scope of the job as he went along and did not ask for or receive an estimate of the job as it progressed. In the end we had a little sticker shock at the total cost, but it was probably understandable given the ultimate scope of the job..

The tech showed up on time and went to work under the kitchen sink. He cleared an obstruction in the hot water line and repaired a leak under the sink. The problem is solved. My only complaint is that the invoice did not include parts costs nor time billed.......Just the total amount. I'm not sure why they can't present a detailed invoice.

My experience was good. They responded within an hour of my call and he took care of the problem within about 45 minutes. He was professional, friendly, and very competent. I was very satisfied with their work.

They have fixed some very strange issues for me in the past. They do prefer the owner to be present when the plumber comes out to fix the problem. The price was a little high, but the quality of work was worth the extra expense.

Because of space constraints the job was difficult. Also, all of our copper pipes are epoxy coated and the contractor had to use flameless connectors to complete the job. The technician was highly experienced and the outcome was excellent. We have a home warranty contract that covers our plumbing, but we always call Conforti instead because we know the job will be done with care and professionalism. It costs more, but it is definitely worth the extra cost.

They came out when they said they would. They did a good job and I plan to call them again.

Called at 9 am and they called me back at 9:50 am to say that a technician would be here in 10 minutes. Arrived at 10 am, did the work and gone by 11 am.

They tracked mud into the house, took 20 minutes of time, and then charged when I thought it should be covered under warranty since they had just installed all new plumbing only a couple weeks before hand. I talked to the owner about the charge, and he was rude and continued to argue with me about the price/warranty. The company should have told of the charge before doing work.

Our toilets and tub have been slow to drain and are 22 years old. Workers arrived promptly, checked main sewer to make sure it wasn't blocked, snaked toilets and concluded that we need new toilets due to corrosion and blockage because of our hard water (we are on a well). They were very prompt, thorough and informative. I would highly recommend this company.
