I contacted Gardner to provide me with a quote for a pool remodel. I had a friend who used them and were mostly happy with them, and their pool looks great. Tom showed up a bit late, but did call to let me know he was running behind. Once here, he provided me with a lot of options and information on what to do with our 30 year old pool. I was impressed with the time that he took with me and the time that he spent evaluating our pool. The only negative was that it took several weeks to get the actual quote. The quote was thorough, if a bit confusing. I have not decided which contractor I am going to use yet, but they are definitely in the running

These folks were fantastic! They could have sold a total remodel but told us if we liked the existing tile & coping (which we did and it was in good shape) they could save that and only re-plaster.  Price was extremely reasonable, they were great communicators all through the work, quality was excellent. They were VERY trustworthy as all the work was performed when no one was at home  during the day. It is  truly refreshing to have found this company as there are some real flakes in the pool business..

Gardener was contracted by our pool builder, Sundancer Pools, to install the pebble sheen plaster.  I was quite anxious at first because pebble sheen is not cheap and requires a very experienced team to install it properly.   The quality of the install could greatly impact both the appearance and long term maintenance costs of the pool.  The common refrain one hears anywhere with regard to gunite pools is that the biggest mistake new pool owners make is letting someone inexperienced install the plaster....Gardener mollified my concerns by offering a 10 year warranty on the work.

They did not arrive on the day scheduled....a prior job held them up..and I was OK with that...because I'd rather they not start a job if they don't stay around to work through all problems.

They did arrive a day or two after and had a whole crew work 4-5 hours to do the job right.  I was still uncertain but they went through all that they had done and any questions I had and showed me that they anticipated problem areas.   They also cleaned up after themselves.

The next day they performed an acid wash and discovered a leak....uh oh.  They put in a patch and said to fill the pool....I was uncertain but there isn't much choice of waiting....the plaster needs water immediately to cure and the pool needs to be weighed down to avoid being pushed up by water in the soil underneath.

Well, the patch didn't work out...but gardener came back and had a diver expertly fix it so that one couldn't even tell there had been any problem.  This is january cold temperatures w/o any heating for the pool.  Later on, gardener came out and addressed any slight blemish areas I notified them about.  The support has been great.

The pool does look awesome and the finish seems to have been installed properly.

Note that there isn't any such thing as a perfect plastering job....there is even one or two spots I still think may need some work ....but all plastering jobs have problems and defects, it's fundamentally a very tricky process, but I'm essentially convinced that gardener did the best job possible here and do honor commitments to their customers.  I'm hoping I'll not need to worry about plastering repairs for a long time to come.

The company did an excellent job start to finish. We were impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of each of the teams, efficiency of the process, and good communication with us each step of the way. The company briefed us well on how to take care of the newly replastered pool during the curing period and thereafter.

I didn?t spend anything when they came out. My interaction with them was great. They gave me some suggestions and recommended that I didn?t have to spend any money at this time since I didn?t need to. They advised me not to waste money. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They were prompt. They had to come back and make some repairs. I haven?t seen it since they made the repairs and I would have to ask my tenants if they were satisfied. The pool service wasn?t quite right after paying a lot of money for it. They tried to compensate us for their tardiness but it was kind of hard because the tenants had to be home while they were there and they had to take time off from work. The repair was all right because they were willing to come out and fix whatever they hadn?t done right. They did make some errors while plastering and it wasn?t a solid surface. They had to fix it with the water in the pool because the tenants weren?t willing to pay for the extra water that they had to replace since they actually pay for the water. We weren?t very satisfied with them. Their punctuality was great. I would probably not use their services in the future.

The company worked with a landscape contractor who did the paving. It was a 6 week project and went pretty smoothly. I am very happy with the finished pool.

They have a different crew for each stage. They are very good at keeping with the calendar. It s easy to contact the coordinator to know what they are doing. They cleaned up after they finished the work and it looks beautiful.
