"Unfortunately this customer is correct. It does not happen often but we ran into problems with our schedule due to circumstances out of our control this call had to be rescheduled. Because of the inconvenience we caused for the customer we advised we would perform the water heater flush at no charge. When we arrived to the job we found that the proper valves required to successfully and properly complete the tankless water heater flush were not installed. Without service valves, the technicians would have to un-sweat the copper piping going into and out of the tankless than reconnect, usually by soldering, using new pipe and fittings. This is not a healthy practice and is not the correct or normal way to flush the system. It could cause future leaks or problems with the unit. I will make sure this customer is offered another service we provide at no charge."
