Noah is no longer working for our company. I now have my daughter, Jenny estimating and another long term employee Toby. Toby has been a lead painter and with me for many many years. So I think you'll be quite happy with my estimators and painters. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I will do what it takes to make sure each person feels good about the entire experience in the future. "Member Thank you for taking the time to post your review of our company, and I am sorry that we did not meet your mother's expectations. I believe there is a misunderstanding which I will explain. Our estimator, Noah went out to look at your mother's home. She did not purchase the special for $250, which could only be done through Angie's List. She said she'd do that. If she did purchase that discount, then painting the walls only in those two rooms would be only $250. The special said it was for walls only. Your mother requested a few doors and closets to be painted as well, which were not included. Your mother approved the price Noah gave her for the additional work and then cancelled the next day by hiring someone else. If you wish to see a copy of the BIG DEAL explaining that doors, trim, closets etc were extra, I can send you a copy. We were not trying to hide or fool anyone. That is not the way we operate our business. I feel bad that your mother feels we were not honest. That is perfectly fine that she found someone to do the price for cheaper. I just want to make sure that she did not feel we tried to take advantage of her. That was never our intent. The BIG DEAL offered by Angie's List is a deeply discounted promotion. It helps us find more new customers and gives them a way to try us out at a discounted rate. Two rooms, walls only would normally be $500. So we definitely gave your mother a good price to add the doors and closets. We are sorry, and if you wish to discuss this further, please contact our office."
