They did excellent work and they were very punctual. They were right on the quote. They cleaned up after themselves and removed all debris. I was very pleased with there work. I will use them again.

Juan was very punctual, he did the work the next day after we got the estimate from him. Because it was going to rain they started very early and he had 6 guys working on the roof. They were done by 1pm right before the rain storm started. It's been raining for 3 days now and there are no leaks.

At first it was difficult to get a response to phone inquires for an estimate. But as it turns out I am glad we persevered. Once on the job the Estrada workers were on time and reliable. The price was less than other estimates and Mr Estrada was able to use existing tiles and filled in with extra tiles he had on hand. This was obviously a big savings and meant we could keep the original tiles made in the 1920s that kept that integrity of the house. There was a break in work for rain, but the area still undone was tarped and no leaks were evident. Also the workers were very nice.

They have done very good so far and showed up when they said they would. We haven't had any leaks and are satisfied with their work.

Juan returned my call in a timely manner, even when demand for his services were high (recent rain). He was prompt and repaired the roof as promised. His fees were reasonable. I would definitely recommend and use his services again.

The crew, along with Juan Estrada, arrived promptly at 8am, as promised, and started to work right away. They removed the existing roofing material and replaced it with two layers of new roofing material. They replaced the existing ridge caps, which had to be removed in order to roll the flat material up and over the existing roof ridge. They improved the fit of the existing roof drain in order to ensure that rain water would easily flow into the drain and not collect on the roof. The crew was quiet and polite and worked quickly. They removed and hauled away the old roofing materials. My husband went up and inspected the job after it was finished and said they did an excellent job. Mr. Estrada came out the same day I called to give us a quote. Among three Angie's List companies, his quote was the best.

Mr. Estrada is one of the most responsive contractors I've used on this project. He returned every phone call promptly, and was diligent in all follow up. I did not need to be around for any of the work. I gave them the key to my driveway gate, and they took care of the rest. Mr. Estrada was very helpful through the whole project. He clearly knew what he was doing and made sure he educated me on everything I would need to assure the job was completed properly. The job was completed FASTER than he promised, and he cleaned up after himself. The workers were courteous (the one time I did stop by) as was, of course, Mr. Estrada. The price was very reasonable as well.

They were on time and finished early. They were very careful about cleaning up after the work. They were very respectful of our property. Mr. Estrada came and checked the finished product to make sure it was to our liking.

We put a high powered whole house fan in the attic which required a lot of roof ventilation. Our house is older 1952, so there was almost zero ventilation. Juan came out quickly for an estimate, and then worked with me to solve the challenge of where to locate the vents and how to get so much square footage of ventilation to fit. I talked to one other roofer who balked at my request and was negative. Juan did question my request, but he did it in a way that was looking out for me, He was making sure I was asking for what I really needed and not making a mistake. He and his crew arrived on time and cleaned up afterward. The vents are working great and we love our fan. I cannot speak to how his price compares because we only got one price.

Overall, a job well done. My one hesitance to provide all A's on the survey was that there was some misunderstanding on what the job quote would include. I felt it was very clear that it would include fixing the carport roof, but upon the first day of the job, Juan seemed to think that wasn't part of the agreed upon quote. In the end I was made to feel like I owed him for the "extra" work done, When I believe it was clearly understood to be part of the original quote. Regardless of the small hiccup over the estimate, JC Estrada worked fast and at an affordable price.

He did exactly what he said he was going to do. They cleaned up after themselves. They got the work done when they estimated. They did a very good job. I am very satisfied with their work.

Juan came out quickly to provide an estimate. He was courteous and professional, and provided a quote well south of those given by other companies. His crew arrived on the appointed day and appeared to do a thorough job over the course of a week. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. I think the job took a little longer than he expected (4.5 days instead of 3), so he had to pull his guys off my house for a day for another job. Still, these shingles were in a hard-to-reach place, and his crew was working without the scaffolding that other companies wanted to erect. He completed the job at his original price. Overall I couldn't be happier with Juan's performance and his value.

Juan came out very quickly for an estimate at the end of the week. Gave an estimate on the spot and then set up a time for the repair for Monday. His quote seemed reasonable, so I agreed. They arrived in the morning like he said and finished by early afternoon, doing what looks to be a great job. He was so fast and responsive, they did the job before any other company even came by for the estimate. Must say his Angie's List reputation seems well deserved.

Never called back or even acknowledged my calls.

Since we never received the courtesy of a return phone call, it didn't go well. Apparently the company doesn't need the business.

He was great. He really exceeded expectations. The approximate cost listed is for the roof he did last time. The cost for the work this time is $700.

Overall, Juan and his crew did a great job. His crew came when Juan promised them and did the work quickly (we weren't around to see whether Juan was supervising his workers on site or not). Juan was responsive when we asked for a couple of follow-up items (painting a flashing, painting a board used to attach a new gutter and clearing away extra cement from the edges of tiles). His crew showed up promptly when they returned for the follow-up items and Juan, while not there at the time, was easy to reach.

Called him for an estimate and he never returned the call.

Juan showed up on time - he inspected the roof for a good half-hour. He presented me with a detailed estimate and provided a 2 year guarantee. The following morning, he brought 2 men to perform the work. They worked for most of the day, completed the work and cleaned-up.The experience was simple and went exactly as it was supposed to. I find it difficult to find people I can rely on these days. This was a very positive experience and Juan is officially my roofer.

Most of it I described above. One caveat, and since Juan did not enter our home, he had no way of knowing this. We live in a 'skinny' and our upstairs has exposed beam ceilings. Coming from a tar/gravel roof and all of the hammering 'dislodged' sawdust (probably from eons ago) so the first day I came home and was rather upset. We laid plastic down and then did not have a problem. Like I said this was no one's fault, just a gotcha if you have a similar scenario as our home. They finished the job in two days. They did come back to install the skylights, since he had to order those from a vendor. He took care of the building permit and inspection. This was all inclusive and the other 3 quotes we got were WAY off!!! And for lesser materials.

Juan was prompt and courteous and always returned my calls in a timely manner. His price was competitive, and the work seems well-done. Clean-up was less than meticulous. I had to clean up a fair amount of staples (from the old roof) and roofing nails from the driveway/flower beds. Even then, I managed to get a couple of them embedded in my car tires.

We called to get estimate to fix roof. Contractor returned call, came when he said he would, was very considerate, produced an estimate in a timely fashion, was honest, came back and did repair work when he said he would. Cleaned up yard, hauled away all debris, started his workers and checked on job while in progress.

I called to have someone come out and give me a quote and no one called me back.

Mr. Estrada responded promptly to my second phone message. He came and gave an assessment and estimate as scheduled. Then at my request, sent me a second estimate, for completing the job in a different way. When I said I wanted to delay the job, he offered to come out and patch up areas that might leak in the meantime. I found him to be very professional and helpful.

Absolutely no response to my calls.
