ED LITTLE AUTO SERVICE

Scheduled an appointment about one week in advance, and was promptly greeted. The only thing they were not able to inspect was the CVT Transmission, but they did refer me elsewhere. [In fact, there are not many places that work on CVT Transmissions] Within the same day, I received a call that the car was ready. Nothing was overlooked, and I was charged a fair price. Like an old fashioned country doctor for your car. Highly recommend! I will absolutely do business with Ed Little Auto again. I'm telling everybody about them.

I was tired of taking my car to the auto dealer and my finances were very low. They are top rated auto mechanic in my area. The dealer had quoted me more than a thousand dollars of the electronic lock system. They did it at a small fraction of the cost. My car is over 12 years old and I took it in for routine maintenance. It was time for changing the oil, lubrication, and changing the filters. It was much lower than the dealer. I like their low cost, friendliness, and willingness to help. There are people who can do their own auto repairs, but I can’t do it myself. It is not a skill I learned growing up. I use professionals. They are best one best one I have used. I typically use dealers because of the sense that if it goes wrong, I can go back and get it fixed, but they are very expensive. Their prices are less than half what the dealer would charge. I would use them in the future in a heartbeat, although I am not really looking to go back to the dealer. I won’t be able to leave the guy I am going to. The only way I know about them is through Angie’s List. Finding out them from the Angie’s List is worth the cost of subscription alone.

Here is pretty much the exact conversation word for word: Me: Hi! I have a (insert car make and year) and it is making a whirring noise and sounds kind of awful when it starts up, but the sounds disappear a few minutes later. Can I bring it by tomorrow for you to look at? Guy who answered the phone: No. I'm booked this week. *click* Really? He hung up on me? Wow. I didn't expect him to drop everything and see to the car right that minute, but a little courtesy would have been nice. A better answer would have been, "Sorry, we're all booked this week. Can you bring it in on (next available time and date)?" A very, very bad first impression. I won't be taking my sister's (or my own) car there. I'd rather go somewhere where they aren't outright rude to potential customers.

They have excellent service, they know what they are doing, and I don’t feel like they charge me for things that I don’t need. I will absolutely continuing going here.

Honest! Female-friendly! These guys are amazing - they have earned my business for life! A dealer told me I needed about $1200 worth of work - to replace my water pump, flush and install a new gasket in my transmission fluid system. I checked for several months to see if there was evidence of a leak of either of these fluids onto my driveway - nothing. However, I have a big fear of getting stuck in the middle of the freeway, and worse yet, incurring even higher expenses, so I decided to take my car in to Ed Little for a second opinion. I actually made an appointment for the repair, but Bob suggested I just swing by first to see if the repairs were really needed. I swung by, and after a 5-minute wait, Dennis took a good hard look at everything, crawling under the car with his flashlight. He showed me everything he was looking at and said - Nope, you're fine, no leaks, you are good to go. Can you believe it? And they didn't charge me a penny. I think I'm in love! Thank you thank you thank you!

I really like them a lot. They do only what needs to be done. The experience I had was excellent. They are very honest and professional. Their pricing is good too.

Outstanding. Not only was it completed in a timely, professional manner, they also checked out a minor problem that I forgot to bring to their attention. They provided a temporary fix for the problem for no charge. They are excellent!.

Very honest, interested in the customer and how to resolve the customer's problem. Reasonably prices. But you need to call for an appointment - and it usually takes 3 or 4 days before they have an opening because everyone knows they are excellent.

It went fantastic. I had a list of repairs and he talked me out of doing them simply because they were not cost effective for the car's value. He took the car for the day and returned it running fine, with an actual price actually lower than the quote. Would go again and recommend to everyone.

This place is amazing, and Bob is a wonderful man. The mechanics are professional, timely, honest, and really nice. The place is busy and not open on the weekends, so Bob suggested I call or drop by to see if they could squeeze me in on the day I was thinking of. I did pop by, and Bob checked the schedule to see what was coming and going - he was able to fit me in!!! I had lunch nearby while my car was given a thorough check up as well as an oil change. At the dealership not only would this have cost me hundreds of dollars, but they would have found something wrong with the car - they always do! So ... I can't recommend this place highly enough. I've never met a more honest mechanic in my life, and such a sweet guy as well. :)

I took my car to the dealership and he gave me a list of things that needed to be done that totaled $1500 or so. I took my car to Ed?s and he broke it down and showed me that I didn?t really need any of that. He was very honest and professional about what he did. The one thing that I don?t like is that they are inconvenient and it is difficult to see them. They are busy so you have to schedule a week or two in advance and they don?t work on the weekends.

They performed all of the above and did not charge a thing.

Check engine light was on, so we called and they said to bring it in right away. We were seen immediately, the solution, a new gas cap, was identified, and we were only charged for the gas cap. Were told there was more that could be tested, but that would cost big bucks, and that we should see if the gas cap alone would solve the issue.

He was a very good guy, very forthright, and I would recommend him to anybody.

Fine. Organized efficient and thorough. I'm still checking out the quality of work, as my brakes are still making a noise I don't like.

He seems pretty honest and does a good job. I would say he's priced well too. I will definitely continue going to him for my vehicle needs.

My "check engine" light went on. I didn't want to go to the dealership, so I decided to try finding a repair shop on Angie's List. I found Ed Little's shop. It was close to where I live and the reviews were very favorable so I decided to call for an appointment. He didn't have an appointment available for a week, BUT he asked me all about the problem, and was able to determine that I could drive the car until my appointment. I took the car in at the appointed time, Ed gave me an estimate and told me he'd call me once they'd looked at the car and then again when it was ready. And he did! The car was ready when he said it would be , even though his shop was short 2 men (which he told me about when I dropped the car off).

The mileage on my Honda has reached a point where I needed to have the timing belt checked and replaced. I called the shop and was given a rough estimate over the phone and made an appointment to bring the car in. I arrived at the time scheduled and didn't have to wait to be seen. Bob explained what would be done, how long it would take and how much he would charge. He called me during the repair and recommended I replace the other belts and one engine mount. He didn't pressure me to do this additional work and I appreciate and expect this level of service from a professional mechanic. Thanks to Bob and his team for the great experience and to Angieslist for helping me find them!

They are very responsive, timely, reliable, and very helpful. They also charge reasonably.

I have been taking my car to them for about 10 years. Their service is outstanding. They are fair, reliable and the prices are extremely reasonable.

The work was done quickly and professionally. It's just an oil change but I will come back when I have other work to be done.

The service was great. I dropped the car off in the morning, about 2 hours later, they called with the list of things that needed to be fixed, along with their recommendations for what needed to be done first. In the end, I chose to go with most of the suggestions (I'll save the others for the next time I visit), but the price was very reasonable ($385 for parts and labor). When I picked the car up after work, there was a noticeable difference in the sound of the idle (it was much quieter), the smoothness of the transition between gears, and the responsiveness of the brakes. They had cleaned out the air transport system (I think that's what it was called) and added something to the system that will supposedly increase gas mileage, but I have yet to go calculate the gas mileage since I got the car fixed. Overall, I was very happy with the service and definitely the price.

They fixed the garbage disposal along with other plumbing needs. Their pricing was good and they went right to the work. This was what I liked most about them, I did not feel like they were wasting time to up the charge. Will use them again.
