Great guys. Comfy waiting area. It took them less than an hour for oil change. No complaints at all.

I have been going to this facility for 4-5 years. They do not push unnecessary repairs and will fix small things for free. They are very trustworthy and reliable. It is easy to get my vehicle into them.

He is really good. They check everything. The filters and tire pressure. Their price is very reasonable and they are very honest. I brought my car in one time with issues and they could have easily taken advantage of me and they did not. They are very busy so I might have to wait. They are worth it. They are reliable. I will continue to use them.

While out running errands with my wife we made one last stop for food before we were to head home. We were only there for about 15 minutes, but when we came back out to the car it would not start. It would not make a sound. We called AAA for a tow and when the driver arrived he did try to assist us. He said he thought it was our starter. I requested a flatbed to take us home. My wife called the mechanic to see if we could bring it in the next day. Bob said it would be better that day, but we needed to make arrangements just in case we needed to leave it there. Even though he told her Friday was a very busy day she was told to bring it in after 9am. When the second tow truck driver came he asked me to try again, nothing happened. We pushed the car back some to get in a better position for the tow. My wife tried one more time and the car started up. The driver said it was the starter and we should have it checked as soon as possible. We got there early and Bob was able to do some checking quickly, we do need a starter. We left the car Bob said it should be ready between 2pm and 4pm and with our rental car we ran our other errands. The car was fixed sooner than expected. We picked it up and paid what was due. She started up and sounded great. We drove her home.

I called in about my washer fluid container. I was out of washer fluid, I bought some and put it in and parked the car in the garage. When I came out to run an errand I noticed that all of the fluid had come out and was on the garage floor. They told me I could bring the car in early to check it. My wife got there early and they checked the car soon after. After the free inspection she was told there was a loose connection, they reconnected it and tested it, put in more washer fluid and said that should take care of it. All for no charge to me. I should return if there was any other problems with it. Well there was more than a loose connection because all of the washer fluid came out again. My wife called them back and made an appointment and was told to call the day before to make sure the part was in that they had to order. It was, so she took the car in very early as usual and waited. I also asked her to have them do an oil change that we needed. Everyone was very nice and professional and although they had lots of cars to repair my wife was out very quickly.

I called in because there was something leaking from underneath my car. They were quick to respond as usual and said we could bring in the car early and they would inspect it for free to see what the problem was. My wife took the car in early that morning and decided to stay with it. It didn't take long before she was told what the problem was. There was no leak we only needed to have the coolant pressure cap replaced. For the price of the part and tax it was quickly replaced and we weren't even charged for labor because they had the part on hand and it only took a few minutes to fix. My wife was on her way home in no time.

I discovered this company on Angie's List several years ago and have been using them ever since!.
Recently, my 1997 RAV 4 developed a troubling and elusive problem: intermittently, upon acceleration from a stopped position, the car would not accelerate. It didn't stall completely; it just would sit there and then after a few seconds of continually stepping on the gas pedal it would move. The problem did not occur all the time and one could not predict when it would happen-- very scary!  I took it in to Ed Little to see if they could find the problem. For the first week the problem did not present itself, so Bob couldn't diagnose what to fix. When we talked about what to do I told him that I didn't feel safe driving the car in that condition; Bob kept the car for another couple of weeks until the problem finally happened when he was driving it. He and his team spent weeks trying to find the problem, and Bob called me to discuss everything before each attempt to fix it. Ultimately, the problem was not fixable, but the amount of time and effort that they expended trying to find it and solve it was extraordinary in this day and age. Bob charged me a very minor amount for a few parts that he bought while trying to fix it. I will absolutely use them in the future.

ELAS is a Culver City institution.  Father (Ed- semi-retired) and Bob (son) have been dedicated to auto care for many years!  Both my wife (2007 Saturn Vue) and my son (Pontiac GTO) have their cars serviced there.  I can always degend on ELAS to give a fair estimate and to stand behind their work.

As usual, the service was prompt, efficient, and done at a reasonable price.  I always feel that the staff at Ed Little's figures out exactly what needs to be done, and does the work well.  I never feel talked down to, or taken advantage of.  They are honest and fair.
The only drawback is that they are so busy that it can be hard to get your car in for service.  One needs to plan ahead!

When I took it in there, there was nothing wrong.  Checked everything.  Very honest and very good.  Everything they say about him is true.  I can't believe how fast they were.  When he put the tires back on, the noise went away.  I will go back there in the future.

The overall experience was very good. As a female it is sometimes challenging to visit a new mechanic with the confidence that you will not be ripped off. I was very comfortable from my initial phone call and throughout the entire process. The employees were professional and friendly. Thanks to Angie's List I found a wonderful mechanic that I can trust!

They have been my mechanics for at least ten years and I have never experienced anything but excellent service from them. They are honest, professional, dependable, no non-sense. They have taken care of at least six different car makes for us and we never ever had a single problem with them

In March 2012 I had an oil change done on my car. A couple of days later the check engine light came on. My wife took it to our local dealer (FELIX CHEVROLET in Los Angeles) after having to use a coupon to get a free diagnosis, I was told my check engine light was on because I did not have a manufacturer's gas cap on my gas tank my wife and I had replaced our cap with one that locks. We spent $23.00 for a new manufacturer's gas cap and were told that would allow them to reset the check engine light and it should remain off. It stayed off, but a few days later my wife and I noticed something on the floor of our garage that I believed to be oil. We had no leak before or after the oil change. It wasn't until we took our car to the dealer that we started to see the oil. My wife took the car back to (FELIX CHEVROLET) to see why we had developed a leak. After several hours of waiting my wife was finally told that our car was leaking oil because our Crank case needed to be replaced and that would cost around $1,700. We keep all of our records and my wife had them with her that day. She told the service guy that we had already spent a great deal of money for a leak we had back in 2010. First we were told it was the oil drip pan that needed to be replaced and that cost us roughly around $600, but the car continued to leak oil. My wife took the car back 5 or 6 times to have it re-inspected for the problem (at no cost because it was all pertaining to the repair they had made) on the last check though I think they were growing tired of us coming in and complaining. The problem went from the oil drip pan which was covered under their contract to the crank case which was not. With this new diagnosis came a new increasing larger total, if we wanted them to repair this we needed to come up about $2,100. We did and they fixed it and suddenly we had no more oil leak. So after hearing again that our crank case needed to be replaced we called them on it and the service manager after checking our repair history with them was willing to split the cost with us and eat half the bill. We asked ourselves WHY? If this were truly a legitimate repair that needed to be done you would stand behind your diagnosis and your estimate. We said no more to the dealer and passed on their diagnosis and their offer to split the cost. I told my wife we should check out Angie's list to see if we could find a new mechanic that would treat us and our car better.
Thinking that the car repairs would cost us more then we could afford we procrastinated and continued to live with the leak for several months. We finally joined Angie's list in November 2012 and began looking for a new mechanic. After reading several reviews we decided to go with ED LITTLE AUTO SERVICE, because they had excellent reviews, they have been in business for over 60 years, they were conveniently located and had been on Angie's list since 2005. My wife gave them a call and since it was just before Thanksgiving the set us up for the following week. I spoke with Bob he was very courteous and knowledgeable and since I wanted to stay there and wait to hear what the problem was he made me an early morning appointment. On the day of my (FREE) diagnostic I arrived early I was  greeted very professionally and they even started early. After a short time I was told what the problem was it was the oil pressure sending unit and it would cost between $115 and $120 to repair that's including the part and all labor. I was floored. I could not believe it the dealer was going to charge $1,700 to repair something that didn't even need to be fixed. They could not do the work that day because they needed to order the part first and they were booked for the next couple of days. Bob set me up and appointment for the following Monday early in the morning and said it should only take about an hour to complete the job. On the day of my appointment I arrived early (it was a rainy day), but I was not seen right away. When they did get my car in and up on the rack to begin the repair BOB came over to me to inform me that somehow the wrong part had been ordered for my car and that it would take around 30 minutes for someone to get the right part to him. I was a little concerned, but not enough to leave without having the repair done. The part arrived in a timely manner and within a short time my car was finished. I asked for the part that they replaced and it was given to me and staying true to the estimate the repair job cost me only $115.94. We also asked for them to check and see if we needed a radiator flush and a transmission flush. Bob informed me our coolant was okay and we could wait another 10,000 miles before having that done and he could not check my transmission because it was sealed and he could not get to it, but he did give us a referral to another local place so that we could call and have them check it out for us. It has been 3 weeks since we got our car fixed and ever since the first day we see no oil on our garage floor. They did an excellent job and I will use Ed Little Auto Service again and I will recommend them as well.

I saw this shop on Angie's list and decided to stop by and make an appointment. Bob said he wanted to see if it was something he could fix and did a quick diagnosis while I watched, he went to my gas cap and twisted it off. He suggested I walk to the Napa auto part store about 30 yards away and get a new gas cap. $10. and change. He reset the warning light, I put on the cap, and the light stayed off. He has a new client for as long as I drive and live in LA.
