Starting with the request for service, to the actual performance of the job it was a breeze. In my 30 years of living in Los Angeles, this was my best experience with Carpet Cleaning. They were puctual, stopped by to give me an estimate late in the evening and provided the service with out a problem. Scott you are the best. Very professional and competent. Excellent service overall. Initial phone contact and conversation with a representative of Drake's was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and gave an estimate of the cleaning services based on the information I gave. They arrived on the scheduled date on time and ready to work. The work was done professionally, quickly and was done within the estimated time frame. The final charges met the estimate which was fair and accurate. We will use Drake again and will gladly recommend them to others.

Carpet Cleaning
They were personable and professional, as well as very respectful of everything in my densely furnished home. They moved many pieces of furniture and miscellaneous small decor items and meticulously placed small vinyl squares under every contact point once these items were put back in place. (When I had the previous carpeting cleaned, the vendor did not do that, resulting in rust marks made by the metal tabs at the bottom of table legs.) He said I didn't have to, but we tipped them $25 on top of the charge of $175. We were very pleased with the interaction, the service and outcome of this visit and we will not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend.

We had gotten many estimates, and Drake's was quite competitive. But the real selling point was that Diana was extremely easy to work with, kind, generous with her time, very clear in setting expectations. The workmen were prompt, paid attention to details, courteous, and did a fantastic job, particularly since the job turned out to be slightly more complex than originally planned.

Carpet Cleaning
Instead of replacing our 17-year-old carpeting, we decided to try to revive it with a good, professional cleaning. We had an unsatisfactory experience before with a big franchise, so we wanted to use a family-owned, independent business, local in the Culver City area. We checked Angie?s List to find Drakes, just 3 miles from our condo. We called Scott to come and give us an estimate. He arrived on time, measured, and said he would do the 3 rooms for $175. That was below the minimum we expected, and since Scott impressed us as a knowledgeable professional who would respect our property, we immediately agreed to the job. We didn?t even get a second estimate. Our condo is on the third floor of a complex, and I told Scott I did not want 150 ft of hose going down to a truck. Scott said no problem, because modern, portable equipment provides excellent vacuum which can outperform a long hose. The portable equipment can go anywhere the doorway is wide enough, and can operate with a modest hose length. Scott and Cameron arrived on time for the cleaning appointment. Working as a 2-man team, they put in a full 2 hours, moving furniture which had not been moved in a decade, and cleaning areas that had never even been vacuumed. Of course we did not want them to move the full bookcases, the heavy sofa, etc., but they worked around and under very well. All the while, they were both very friendly and respectful. We are very satisfied with the result, and will live with our old carpet for a few more years. When the time comes to replace the carpeting and hard floors, we will definitely call Drakes first.

They came out and gave me a thorough estimate, fully disclosing any obstacles they might encounter or any extra charges that I might incur due to the complexity of the soiling/ smell issues. The arrived promptly, did a thorough job - which took a little longer than expected because of the added work they had to do. They moved and replaced furniture, put down protective barriers underneath, and were quick and efficient. They got out (almost) all spots and the carpet dried fairly rapidly, they charged me less than the hourly rate would have been- and offerred to come back to spray deodorizing chemical again, gratis, if there was still a urine smell after the carpet dried. I will definitely use them again.

Carpet Cleaning
They did a wonderful job here. We have celadon green carpeting and one of our house keepers was careless and spilt some Clorox on the carpet and bleached it out. They were able to create a green celadon dye and applied it and the carpeting looks beautiful in those areas, you can?t even tell that it was repaired.

Furniture Cleaning
Excellent from start to finish. The two men from Drake's were meticulous in their cleaning of our couch and just as meticulous with the cleanup afterwards. Since our couch doesn't have any cushions (it's all one piece), the price was the lower end of the range I was quoted over the phone. They did a great job on it. Looks almost like new.

I just used them a second time about a month ago - the previous time was about a year ago. I don?t have a very big carpeted area. They did a very good job. They got all the stains out. They were very reliable, nice and professional. They came out promptly when I called. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future if necessary.

Two man team including one of the owners I believe, Scott Kirkbride. Work done in just about an hour and a half. You know how no matter how well something is cleaned certain spots keep coming back? Never knew why before ( I have a ridiculously white carpet). Scott explained that those household carpet cleaners that we all buy for quick fixes...Resolve, etc. leave a sticky residue that clings to NEW dirt and so it LOOKS like the spot is back. Who knew? Now, I know where to put my throw rugs!!! Great advice. They moved all my furniture...the last guys didn't....and they did an outstanding job. Quietly too. Two thumbs waay up!!! LOL

Furniture Cleaning
I had a seven-foot sofa that needed cleaning. They showed up on time and performed a good service. They gave me an invoice too. They even included in that an agreement based on the information they had online. I was happy with their service overall. They were efficient and cleaned up properly. They were not noisy and did not disturb the neighbors. They made sure that I liked what they did before they left. They were great.

We had a VERY TIGHT time window in which to get all three of these projects completed. The work was done over my company's Christmas shutdown. We had about 3 to 4 days to get everything done. Diana was VERY organized and kept me ontrack in picking materials and getting them approved so that we could get them ordered and delivered on time. She kept a watchful eye on her crew to make sure they were ontime, didn't fall behind and completely understood what needed to be done. Diana knows her products and was very helpful in selecting the proper materials, including suggeting what would look good in our office and what would wear well. She also gave me quite a lot of information and coaching on how to maintain and care for the new flooring and carpeting. Her crew did an excellent, high quality job and completed it well within our limited time frame. I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to used them again.

The sheet vinyl on the kitchen floor (there since we moved in) was peeling up by the back door--we needed a durable, economical replacement installed quickly before the subfloor was damaged by the winter weather. We met with Diana and she took the time to educate us thoroughly on each product's strengths, weaknesses, care, and costs to facilitate our decision, since she knew we had some financial constraints. She emailed us quotes promptly and her rates were comparable to another flooring company we'd consulted that wasn't a fraction as informative and caring as Diana was! She also worked with us to help us create a custom floor design with a material that usually isn't easily customizable. She went beyond the call of duty to ensure we would love our new floor and not break the bank. Diana and her crew removed, leveled, and replaced our kitchen floor on time and on budget, left it cleaned and polished, and we're thrilled with it! Diana took excellent care of us and our project, even though many contractors had told us our job was too small. Thank you, Drakes Carpet! We are grateful for your great and expeditious work.

We got prompt and polite service. They were able to schedule us in 2 days which was very important for us, since we were moving out and wanted to leave the place clean for our landlord. 3 guys cleaned the carpet quickly. Gave us good tips on how to clean carpet in the future so spots won't return. Also managed to clean a rug and make some small old rust spots almost invisible, which was amazing. We'll call them in the future again for sure.

Really, truly, excellent. Had just had a houseguest with an untrained puppy that left a mess of mud and accidents. Drake's not only left the carpets spotless, they explained to me and educated me on the flaws of using commercial spray-on spot removers. I have one problem high traffic area that no other company has gotten so clean. They were very generous in their pricing - which is by the square foot rather than by the number of rooms - so if a large piece of furniture wasn't moved, they deducted that square footage from the total. They also cleaned a few doormats at no extra charge. A price was arrived at before they began the work. They were accomodating as to what furnishings I felt should be moved and what wasn't necessary. I live in a townhouse and truck-mounted equipment has always been difficult to manuever. Drakes equipment is portable so there was no difficulty in bringing it directly up to the rooms being cleaned. They arrived on time, and were clean, friendly and carfeul and considerate of my belongings. It has been two weeks and I'm still smiling at how great my carpet looks.

Drakes was just incredible. Their professionalism was over the top. I had a party planned for Saturday October 17th and Diana came by Friday October 16th and picked up the rugs and told me they would have the rugs clean and delivered back to me on Saturday by 2:00pm. Drake arrived before 2:00pm delivered the rugs and started the upholstery cleaning on the chairs. The chairs look amazing, I was just very grateful. I was pleased with the service, the price, just the complete experience.
